Abstract

This paper analyzes whether the expansionary fiscal policy funded by issuing debt instruments in financial markets will increase short-term interest rates. If  the expansionary fiscal policy increases interest rates, which decrease private spending especially investment, crowding out occurs. This is interesting because global economic crisis has encouraged many countries to run large budget deficits to stimulate the economy. Indonesia has also run budget deficit during this crisis and even in years before. The impact of such a policy can be significant because Indonesia’s debt market is still narrow and shallow. Therefore, its capability of absorbing the government debt instruments without influencing the private sector funding is limited. This study tests whether the crowding out occurs in Indonesia using a time series econometric model inspired by Cebula and Cuellar’s model. The Cointegration Regression and Error Correction Model (ECM) are used in this study. Monthly data from April 2000 to December 2008 are used for overnight real interbank call money interest rates, real net government bond issues in trading, real narrow money supply, real rate of one-month Certificate of Bank Indonesia, growth of Gross Domestic Product, and real net international capital flows. This empirical study shows that the crowding out problem occurred in Indonesia during the period. This indicates that financing budget deficit in Indonesia by issuing debt instruments in the financial markets has a negative impact on the private sector.

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement viewed from student’s AQ. The learning models compared were TPS with scientific approach, NHT with scientific approach, and classical with scientific approach. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. The population were all students of Junior High School in Boyolali. The samples are the students of SMPN 1 Boyolali, SMPN 1 Sawit and SMPN 3 Sawit, which taken by using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used were mathematics achievement test and AQ questionnaire. The data was analyzed using unbalanced two-ways Anova. The conclusions were as follows. (1) TPS with scientific approach gives better mathematics achievement than NHT with scientific approach, and both gives better mathematics achievement than classical with scientific approach. (2) Climbers students have better mathematics achievement than campers and quitters students,  campers students have better mathematics achievement than quitters students. (3) For TPS with scientific approach, climbers students have better mathematics achievement than campers and quitters students. Campers and quitters students have the same mathematics achievement. For NHT and classical with scientific approach, climbers students have better mathematics achievement than quitters students. Climbers and campers students have the same mathematics achievement. Campers and quitters students have the same mathematics achievement. (4) For climbers students, TPS with scientific approach and NHT with scientific approach give the same mathematics achievement. NHT with scientific approach and classical with scientific approach give the same mathematics achievement. TPS with scientific approach gives the better mathematics achievement than classical with scientific approach. For campers and quitters students, all learning models give the same mathematics achievement.Keywords: TGT, NHT, Classical, Scientific Approach, AQ.

Abstract

The aging process is a natural process where an elderly experiences the changing biological, cognitive, psychological, and spiritual. Those chances influence the elderly health in both biological and psychological including the chance or mental health disorders towards an elderly which influences the quality of life such as mood disorder and depression. The managing of depression in the elderly could be done by laugh therapy.  Laugh therapy is a therapy method by utilizing laugh in order to assist each person to reduce a problem in both physical disorder and mental disorder. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of laugh therapy on the decreasing of depression level for elderly. It included quasi- experimental study was condected at Griya Usila St. Yosef and in Werdha Bhakti Luhur House in  Sidoarjo by utilizing non randomized control pretest posttest design. The sample used in this research the inclusion criteria was 35 people which were divided into treatment group and control group. The treatment group was 19 people and control group was 16 people. The elderly in Griya Usila St. Yosef was as treatment group and the elderly in Panti Wedha Bhakti Luhur was as control group. Both groups performed pretest and postet at the same time to determine the level depression using by Geriatric Depression Scale/GDS. Mann Whitney Test results z = -5.105  and p = 0.000 There are significant differences in changes in the level of depression in the treated.Mann Whitney Test to test the difference in value of the Geriatric Depression Scale(GDS) z = -4.368 and p = 0.000 that was significant differences in the difference in the value of the GDS between the treated group and control group. Laughter therapy is effective in lowering the rate of depression in the elderly. The conclusion is the laugh therapy is effective in reducing the depression level in the elderly at Griya Usila St. Yosef Surabaya and Panti Werdha Luhur Sidoarjo

Abstract

Orthorexia nervosa (ON) is an obsessive behavior towards healthy food with more importance on the quality than the quantity of food. Medical students tend to experience ON. The prevalence of ON in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Tanjungpura (FK UNTAN) is around 56.1%. The study is conducted to assess the relationship between body mass index (BMI), diet, and eating patterns with ON indications for students of the Medical Study Program, FK UNTAN. This study uses mixed method (quantitativequalitative), for 66 students (2020 and 2021 batches) through proportionate stratified sampling and 10 students with low and high ON indications with the convenience methode. Analysis used Spearman's rho correlation test and contingency coefficient; qualitative analysis used descriptive inductive method. Bivariate analysis showed p>0.005 for BMI (p=0.139, diet (p=0.105), and the results were invalid for dietary pattern. Qualitative analysis shows people with ON can be influenced by social media which is characterized by their habit of seeking inspiration for healthy eating behaviors. There is no statistically significant relationship between BMI, diet, and eating patterns with ON but still found in FK students because of their knowledge related to nutrition, health and the desire to avoid illness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menginvestigasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi capaian akademis siswa. Fokusnya adalah untuk menguji hubungan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan penggunaan media Wordwall dengan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V di SD Gugus III Kecamatan Kediri Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan penggunaan media wordwall terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Kediri Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Gugus III Kecamatan Kediri. Jumlah subyek dalam penelitian ini melibatkan sebanyak 140 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket (kompetensi guru dan media wordwall) serta tes tulis (pre-test dan post-test). Hasil pengujian korelasi product moment yang telah dilakukan, diperoleh nilai rhitung untuk variabel kompetensi profesional guru dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa sebesar 0,526, yang lebih besar dari rtabel yang bernilai 0,1660. Selain itu, nilai signifikansi (sig. 2-tailed) yang diperoleh adalah 0,032, yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Analisis korelasi Pearson yang dilakukan terhadap hubungan antara media wordwall dan hasil belajar, diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sangat signifikan dengan nilai r = 0,892 yang mengindikasikan hubungan positif yang sangat kuat antara kedua variabel tersebut. Hubungan antara variabel independen, yaitu media wordwall dan kompetensi profesional guru, dengan variabel dependen yang merupakan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai F sebesar 30.576 menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif yang signifikan antara kedua variabel independen tersebut dan variabel dependen.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan memproduksi teks biografi siswa kelas X SMKN 2 Kuripan berdasarkan struktur, piranti kebahasaan, dan strategi linguistik. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah cakap dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan penelitian Terdapat 11 siswa menggunakan 3 struktur, 5 siswa menggunakan 2 struktur, dan 4 siswa menggunakan 1struktur. Terdapat 1 siswa menggunakan 6 piranti kebahasaan, 15 siswa menggunakan 5 piranti kebahasaan, 2 siswa menggunakan 4 piranti kebahasaan, 1 siswa menggunakan 3 piranti kebahasaan, dan 1 siswa menggunakan 2 piranti kebahasaan. Terdapat 18 siswa menggunakan 2 piranti penghubung intrakalimat, dan 2 siswa menggunakan 1 piranti penghubung intrakalimat. Terdapat 19 siswa menggunakan 2 piranti penghubung antarkalimat, dan 1 siswa menggunakan 1 piranti penghubung antarkalimat. Terdapat 5 siswa menggunakan 2 piranti penghubung antarparagraf, 12 siswa menggunakan 1 piranti antarparagraf, dan 3 siswa tidak menggunakan piranti penghubung antarparagraf. Terdapat 5 siswa mendapatkan predikat Sangat baik. Terdapat 9 siswa mendapatkan predikat baik. Terdapat 2 siswa mendaspatkan predikat cukup. Terdapat 4 siswa mendapatkan predikat kurang. Total skor dan nilai sebanyak 1.560 dengan nilai rata-rata 78 kategori cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan memproduksi teks biografi siswa kelas X SMKN 2 Kuripan berada pada kategori cukup.

Abstract

Overweight is an accumulation of excess adipose reserve within the body, resulting in an increase of bodyweight. Consumption of ultra-processed beverages, and energy intake from food and beverage are several fators that can cause the problem of overweight. This research aims to understand the relation between sugar intake in ultra-processed beverages and energy intake from food and beverages with overweight among teenage students of senior high school 6 Surabaya. The research is an observational research with cross-sectional design. Sampling is taken using proportional random sampling technique. The number of participants are 80 teenagers from 10th and 11th classes in June 2020. Participants are aged 15-18 years old. Energy intake from food and beverages are taken from 2x24 hour recall questionnaire, and sugar intake from ultra-processed beverages taken from seven-day beverages diary.. Statistical analysis are done using chi-square. The result shows relation between energy intake from food and beverages with overnutrition, with (p =< 0,001). In conclusion, excess energy intake from food and beverages relation with overweight problem to teenagers, thus requiring balanced nutritional guide education as well as annual nutrition status monitoring, from the school to its teenage students.
