The aim of the activity is to increase the competence of teachers and students by training Arduino-based practice modules in the implementation of digital and communication systems that have multi-input and multi-output devices. Partner problems are industry technology 4.0 and teacher competence. Industry 4.0 technology issues are implemented in practical training modules that are useful as learning media that can be implemented for various applications. The problem of teacher competence with training and development of learning media so as to be able to create and innovate in digital and communication systems. The method used in this activity is discussion, explanation, demonstration, exercise, and observation. The results of this activity increase the competence and knowledge of vocational schools by marked the participants are able to operate and implement modules.

The greater the demands to make graduates with adequate skills, qualified instructors need to be prepared, as well as possessing good skills. One of the skills that need to be possessed by vocational school teachers in the fields of electricity, electricity and automation is mechatronics. Based on needs analysis and discussion with partners, 3 (three) main problems were identified, namely: (1) Teachers still often use the lecture method, so students become passive and result in low student competency in mechatronic subjects. (2) The condition of school facilities and infrastructure is still inadequate resulting in reduced interest and motivation of students in participating in learning. (3) The use of mechatronics learning media by teachers is less than optimal resulting in students' creativity in solving problems not appearing. The survey results of this community service implementation team found that Balikpapan vocational school teachers in engineering require mechatronics skills in using the Programable Logic Controller (PLC) related to making models, designing programs and programming them according to the needs of the teaching and learning process to anticipate technological progress in the field of control . Based on the problem, a Mechatronics Competency Enhancement training for Balikpapan Vocational Students was held, regarding PLC skills. The results of the activities carried out can be drawn several conclusions, among them (1) community service activities carried out in the form of Programable Logic Controller (PLC) skills training to be able to make models, design programs and program their own PLCs according to the learning process needs, (2) This activity was carried out on July 25-27 2019 with representatives from 5 Vocational High Schools in the city of Balikpapan. Tesso Nilo National Ecotourism Park is one of potential tourist attractions in Indonesia which located in Pelalawan District and offers us a concept of forest tourism, because Tesso Nilo is a wonderful lowland tropical forest. This research aims to find out the promotional strategy which runs by Tesso Nilo National Ecotourism Park in increasing the tourists.This research was carried out in Tesso Nilo National Ecotourism Park. Using decriptive qualitative method and purposive technic where the author giving the descriptions about ecotourism research clearly and systematically. This research also uses interviews, observations, and documentations in collecting data.Based on the research, the promotional strategy which used by Teso Nilo national ecotourism park in increasing the number of tourists are; promotion mix, is an advertising promotion including outdoor media and print media; public relations, such as counseling to the surround communities, social services, and build a good relationship with the stakeholders; word of mouth, which came from the tourist’s experiences and good services especially who’ve followed the Simaksi; Personal selling, such as events and exhibitions.

At Indonesia, cases of residential house fires are still rampant. This resulted in considerable losses for the population of Indonesia. If there is no prevention or countermeasure, it is possible that the danger of a house fires will continue. Therefore, this system exists to create a condition where the system is able to detect the potential that will bring a fire hazard. In this system using a method that is the application of a multisensory system in detecting the presence of fire, smoke and temperature in the room. The sensors used include KY-026 fire sensor, MQ-9 smoke sensor and DS18B20 temperature sensor. Then the system also implements an intelligent system that is fuzzy logic to process sensor reading data. The three sensor inputs will be processed through the fuzzification stage, rule evaluation and the deffuzification. The output of this system is in the form of firm values, namely the values 1 to 5 from the results of the multisensory defuzzification in each module. So the error of the defuzzification average is 0.99% after being compared with the MATLAB output. This system is expected to be able to provide early warning of the threat of fire, reduce the risk of casualties, and be able to be implemented to a wider scale or scope.

Sistem deteksi dini akan potensi kebakaran dapat mengurangi dampak buruk dari lingkungan. Pada saat ini, keterbatasan sistem deteksi kebakaran adalah pada cakupan area dan letak pemasangan perangkat sehingga sensitivitas sensor di dalam ruangan menjadi berkurang. Pada penelitian ini, diajukan untuk mendeteksi fenomena dalam ruangan dengan memanfaatkan beberapa sensor. Metode logika fuzzy digunakan untuk pengabilan keputuan dalam proses data multisensor dan pada sebuah cluster head (CH), hasil dari proses data adalah level kondisi pada sebuah perangkat end device (ED) . Hasil pengujian menggunakan logika fuzzy menjadikan sistem deteksi terdistribusi pada setiap peragkat ED dan CH, sehingga dapat menghemat penyimpanan dan proses komputasi data pada fusion center (FC).

Coastal environmental pollution, especially due to plastic waste, has become a serious threat to marine ecosystems and public health. Nambo Beach in Kendari City, Southeast Sulawesi, is one of the areas affected by the lack of waste management and low public awareness. This community service activity aims to increase community awareness and participation in maintaining beach cleanliness through clean-up actions and environmental education. The methods used include collecting rubbish by students and providing education to visitors through poster media. The results of the activity show that there is community enthusiasm for this activity as well as increased understanding of the importance of protecting the environment. Visual education has proven effective in conveying environmental messages, while beach clean-up actions encourage direct behavior change. This activity proves that collaboration between academics and the community can create a positive impact and needs to be implemented sustainably as part of a participatory-based waste management strategy in coastal areas.

The activity "Socialization of Language Development and Implementation of Early Literacy Culture in Cordova Samarinda" generally aims to find out the Socialization of Language Development and Implementation of Early Literacy Culture for Class Teachers and Students of Grade IV SD Cordova Samarinda. The method of implementing this service is by means of surveys and direct socialization in the field. Introduction to language development and getting used to literacy culture from an early age can be started by communicating with people in the home environment, community environment, school environment, by reading story books or fairy tales to children routinely by parents at home and teachers can also implement reading books and students listening in class. Although it seems like a simple activity, reading books to children is the first stage of introducing children to the world of literacy. Improving literacy culture in the digital era, for example, is very important. Literacy has a big role in training children's basic skills in reading, writing and telling stories.
