Abstract

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi dapat menjadi suatu keunggulan bagi organisasi untuk meningkatkan daya saingnya, tak terkecuali pada institusi pendidikan di tingkat perguruan tinggi.Kebutuhan teknologi informasi di perguruan tinggi sangat besar, terutama berkaitan dengan akademik.Sistem informasi akademik yang terkomputerisasi merupakan bagian penting di suatu perguruan tinggi. Hal ini dikarenakan dengan adanya sistem tersebut akan memudahkan dosen dalam memasukkan nilai akademik mahasiswa. Mahasiswa dapat mengakses informasi akademik atau kegiatan administrasi akademik.Sistem informasi akademik, sebagaimana sebuah sistem informasi pada umumnya, memerlukan adanya evaluasi untuk dapat mengetahui kekurangan-kekurangan yang ada untuk selanjutnya ditingkatkan dan dikembangkan.Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan metrik untuk mengukur kualitas dan mengevaluasi sistem informasi akademik.Penelitian ini melakukan penyusunan dan pengujian metrik operabilitas untuk sistem informasi akademik berdasarkan ISO 25010.Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi masukan yang memperkaya kajian literatur dan empiris terkait pengukuran kualitas perangkat lunak menggunakan ISO/IEC 25010 karakteristik operabilitas.Data yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukan penyusunan dan pengujian metrik operabilitas untuk sistem informasi akademik berdasarkan ISO 25010 diperoleh dari studi liteatur, wawancara serta penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden pakar, dosen dan mahasiswa.Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi sistem informasi akademik berdasarkan ISO 25010 karakteristik operabilitas. Dari hasil penelitian, maka didapatkan hasil bahwa model yang diusulkan lebih akurat dibandingkan model lama, karena adanya penambahan dua subkarakteristik pada ISO 25010 karakteristik operabilitas yaitu helpfullness dan technical accessibility, yang mampu menaikkan akurasi model baru. Hasil pengukuran dari penelitian ini sudah memenuhi standar pengukuran kualitas. Standar kualitas untuk suatu aplikasi web adalah 70.

Abstract

In determining the final project supervisor in making a decision by the department at the Balikpapan State Polytechnic, there are several factors that become criteria. This assessment is based on 3 criteria which will be divided into several sub-criteria, namely the first, namely Education, the sub-criteria are the subjects taught and areas of expertise, the second is lecturer research, the sub-criteria are research topics and theses, and the third is supporting the sub-criteria are training or workshops that have been attended. For the sake of efficiency and effectiveness of the department, the right decision making is very necessary. This study is used to build a decision-making system that has the ability to analyze in determining the final project supervisor using the profile matching method, where each criterion in this case the assessment factors and alternative supervisors is compared with one another so as to provide an output value priority intensity that produces a system that provides an assessment of each supervisor. This decision-making system can assist the department in determining the final project supervisor based on the criteria and weighted values. The application of this system is very useful to facilitate decision making related to the determination of the final project supervisor, so that the most appropriate final project supervisor will be obtained to guide students according to the competence of the lecturer and the theme of the student's final project.

Abstract

The world of education, from elementary school to university levels, is required to be able to adapt to the progress of science and technology that is growing so rapidly, especially in the field of information. And the current state of the Covid-19 pandemic requires every institution to help reduce the number of its spread. One of the lines of society affected by COVID-19 is schools, especially elementary schools that do not yet have school website facilities as a medium of information to the public. In this community service activity, the implementing team designed the website for the SDN 020 Central Balikpapan school as a partner. The problems faced by partners are the location of schools that are not strategically located in the Central Balikpapan area, not having informative media for various aspects of interest, the existence of an online PPDB policy from the Education Office to suppress the spread of Covid19, To overcome these problems, SDN 020 Central Balikpapan must have websites. The benefits of online PPDB activities can be carried out so that parents do not need to go to school during registration, can meet the requirements as an Adiwiyata school, and can facilitate the achievement of school accreditation. The method of implementing community service activities by the team consists of building communication with partners, designing school websites, providing training on the use of websites in the form of filling out content and managing databases, implementing websites in schools, socializing school websites to the community, maintaining and repairing websites after implementation. This series of community service activities is planned for a maximum of 8 months. The service activity took place successfully and could help school operators in data processing and selecting prospective students easily and quickly

Abstract

Perkembangan seni musik saat ini menjadikan generasi muda dari budaya musik tradisional, salah satunya adalah musik gamelan. Generasi muda lebih muyukai hiburan berupa band, game yang didukung dengan teknologi yang canggih sedangkan gamelan sudah mulai ditinggalkan. Usaha untuk mendekatkan kembali generasi muda pada musik tradisional gamelan dengan cara membuat musik virtual. Perancangan virtual musik gamelan terdiri dari gerakan pada tangan kanan operator dengan menggunakan sensor kinect. Variasi nada pada Virtual musik gamelan terdiri dari 6 nada. Penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu meningkatkan minat generasi muda untuk memainkan musik gamelan. Metode pengujian pada penelitian ini termasuk pengumpulan data, analisa data, perancangan aplikasi dan  teori interaksi desain. Pengujian virtual musik gamelan dengan oleh sepuluh orang pengguna diantaranya adalah anak-anak dan dewasa. Virtual musik gamelan mudah diimplementasikan karena tampilan yang user friendly dan gerakan yang dilakukan seakan akan secara alami.

Abstract

Penerangan Lampu Jalan (PJU) tenaga surya masih jarang diberdayakan di lingkungan masyarakat. Selain agak mahal dalam pengadaannya, juga agak rumit dalam perawatannya. Namun dari sisi positifnya, sangat menguntungkan karena sumber powernya berasal dari sinar matahari yang dapat dikonversikan pada beban lampu DC ataupun lampu AC (sesuai kebutuhan). Jika ditambahkan dengan sensor cahaya (photocell), maka lampu penerangan tesebut akan bersifat otomatis. Pada malam hari, nilai tahanan sensor cahaya akan turun, sehingga lampu DC akan menyala. Sebaliknya, pada siang hari nilai tahanan akan naik, dan lampu DC akan padam. PJU tenaga surya tersebut akan menerangi lingkungan sekitar jalanan, sehingga memberikan kenyamanan bagi pengguna jalan terutama di malam hari. Berdasarkan survey tim PkM, RT 67 Kelurahan Sepinggan Balikpapan belum memiliki PJU. Oleh karena itu, tim PkM telah merancang 1 tiang penerangan lampu jalan kapasitas 20 wp di RT tersebut dengan beban daya 1 lampu DC 5 watt pada ruas jalan utama. Adapun komponen utama   Penerangan Lampu Jalan (PJU) tenaga surya meliputi panel surya 20 wp, controller 10 ampere, aki VRLA 10 Ah, kabel serabut, lampu DC 5 watt, saklar on off dan fitting. Hasil pengujian ketahanan aki setelah panel surya tercharge selama 5 jam (saat matahari terik), maka lampu penerangan tersebut dapat digunakan selama 12 jam. Ketua RT 67 Kelurahan Sepinggan mengharapkan keberlanjutan kerja sama antara RT 67 Kelurahan Sepinggan dengan tim PkM Politeknik Negeri Balikpapan, terutama dalam penambahan unit penerangan lampu jalan panel surya. Karena di area RT 67 terdapat 2 perumahan yaitu Perumahan Melati dan Perumahan Bumi Makmur yang sama sekali tidak ada lampu penerangan jalannya.

Abstract

As we all know, technology is currently developing very rapidly. Almost all fields of work have used technology related to computer technology, including decision support systems. Based on observations that have been made at Poltekba, especially the Department of Electrical Engineering, the mentoring process is still constrained by the lack of appropriateness in the field of expertise between students and their supervisors. Where this can cause difficulty in consultation between supervisors and students regarding the work on the Final Project to be done. This study offers the implementation of a system that can be used to select prospective Final Project supervisors according to the student's field of expertise, namely designing a Decision Support System to determine the right prospective supervisor. Based on previous research in 2021, a suitable design and system for the selection of the final project supervisor is a Decision Support System with the Profile Matching method. Profile Matching assumes that there is an ideal predictor value that must be achieved, not a minimum value that must be passed, so this method is very suitable if used for the matching process. The results of this final project indicate that the system created has succeeded in choosing a supervisor who is in accordance with the theme taken by the students, with an accuracy rate of 100% between the suitability of manual calculations and system calculations. This is evidenced by comparing the manual calculation process with the system that has been created, where the ranking results show the same results.Keywords: Criteria, decision making, profile matching method

Abstract

This research activity in collaboration with partners is carried out with the background of wanting to implement relevant science to solve problems that occur in the community. The world of education, from elementary school to university levels, is required to be able to adapt to rapidly developing technological advances, especially in the field of information. Various ways are carried out by an agency to address the global issue of the 4.0 revolution, where information systems are needed, especially junior high schools that do not yet have a web server as a cloud-based database storage medium and school website facilities as a medium of information to the public. Various information can be provided through the school's website, including school profiles, learning activities, teacher and student achievements and New Student Admissions (PPDB). In this research activity, the implementing team designed a web server and school website using the UML (Unified Modeling Language) and PHP (PHP Hypertext Preprocessor) programming language. The problems faced by partners are the location of the school which is less strategic and the number of applicants is getting smaller every year in the Batakan area of East Balikpapan, does not have informative media for various aspects of interest, the existence of an online PPDB policy from the Education Office to suppress the increase in cases of covid19, limited human resources in the internet and information systems, as well as school quality assurance, namely accreditation. To overcome these problems, SMP PJHI Balikpapan must have its own web server and website. The benefits of online PPDB activities can be carried out so that parents do not need to go to school during registration, and can facilitate the achievement of school accreditation, so as to increase the credibility of the school. The research activities carried out by the team consisted of establishing communication with partners, designing and implementing school servers and websites, providing training on the use of websites, implementing websites in schools.

Abstract

This activity was carried out with a background of wanting to implement relevant knowledge to help problems that exist in society, especially in the field of information technology. Such as Blended Learning combines offline class instructions with online (computer) instruction with the hope that students will be able to solve problems related to learning content independently or in groups, according to the abilities of each student. This activity was carried out using the waterfall method approach with the creation of a learning, training, discussion and evaluation system. The method for creating a learning system is using Moodle and the MySQL database which will be installed on the internal server of SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan. This activity produces a Blended Learning system that can be easily used by teachers and students to support Independent Learning and can increase the interest and quality of student learning at SMKN 1 Balikpapan.

Abstract

The world of work, both from the level of government employees, BUMN employees, private company employees and others, is demanded to be able to adapt to technological advances. So that employee attendance can be easily monitored by superiors directly both when they come, when they go home and work location. This research activity is SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan as a partner to implement a web server and website attendance information system for teachers, education staff and other employees. The problem faced by partners is that for employees working at SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan attendance attendance only uses a fingerprint and retrieves data using a flash drive manually not integrated directly into the server automatically so that leaders cannot monitor and also when working outside the office cannot make attendance at at that moment. This research aims to help an easy system for teachers and education staff who are working outside the city with camera features and location points so they can take attendance. The results of this study are that it runs well without problems and can make it easier to recap the results of employee absences and reduce fraud that will be carried out in the absence of teachers and education staff at SMK Negeri 1 Balikpapan.

Abstract

Sistem deteksi dini akan potensi kebakaran dapat mengurangi dampak buruk dari lingkungan. Pada saat ini, keterbatasan sistem deteksi kebakaran adalah pada cakupan area dan letak pemasangan perangkat sehingga sensitivitas sensor di dalam ruangan menjadi berkurang. Pada penelitian ini, diajukan untuk mendeteksi fenomena dalam ruangan dengan memanfaatkan beberapa sensor. Metode logika fuzzy digunakan untuk pengabilan keputuan dalam proses data multisensor dan pada sebuah cluster head (CH), hasil dari proses data adalah level kondisi pada sebuah perangkat end device (ED) . Hasil pengujian menggunakan logika fuzzy menjadikan sistem deteksi terdistribusi pada setiap peragkat ED dan CH, sehingga dapat menghemat penyimpanan dan proses komputasi data pada fusion center (FC).
