Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab menurut K.H. Ahmad Dahlan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan sumber data primer “Paradigma Pendidikan Berkemajuan: Teori dan Praksis Pendidikan Progresif Religius KH Ahmad Dahlan” yang mana dalam buku tersebut KH Ahmad Dahlan mengkaji metode dan pendekatan pengajaran baik agama islam, pengetahuan umum hingga Bahasa Arab. Sumber data sekunder yang berasal dari berbagai buku dan karya ilmiah yang mengkaji tentang tokoh tersebut. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dan dianalisis dengan analisis isi (content analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab menurut K.H. Ahmad Dahlan menekankan pendekatan yang personal, interaktif, dan kontekstual. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya fokus pada penguasaan bahasa, tetapi juga pada pengembangan potensi peserta didik secara menyeluruh, mencakup aspek spiritual, moral, dan sosial. Terdapat tiga prinsip pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yaitu: menjelaskan tujuan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab kepada peserta didik dan memberikan latihan penguasaan keterampilan berbahasa Arab; bermain peran berbahasa dengan peserta didik sesuai dengan konteks masa kini; dan memberikan contoh penggunaan berbahasa Arab kepada para peserta didik. Selanjutnya, implementasi humanistik dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab adalah dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang relevan sesuai kebutuhan peserta didik seperti thariqah mubasyarah, program pertukaran pelajar, kelas imersi Bahasa dan interaksi peserta didik dengan penutur asli, penciptaan bi’ah lughawiyyah, dan menanamkan pemahaman mengenai konteks sosial dan budaya Arab.

Abstract

Learning media has experienced many variations along with the development of technology. Learning and playing are activities that are not only carried out by children but also by adults. Educational games as visual media are games that are packaged to support and increase users' thinking and concentration. The use of educational game technology in the teaching and learning process is an interactive learning technique. Mastery of Arabic vocabulary is very important, seeing from the many educational games that use this international language. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness and benefits of educational games as well as learning designs using educational game content. In this study, researchers used quantitative methods that were supported by population and sampling. The development of this educational game was carried out by collecting data in the form of interviews as the main technique, documentation and observation as supporting techniques. The results in this study state that educational games are an effective and interactive medium in increasing Arabic vocabulary at the higher education level. This is because educational games can increase learning motivation and can make it easier for students to understand the material.

Abstract

One of the things that often hinders success in learning Arabic is the emergence of demotivation. This study aims to analyze the form of demotivation and understand the factors that cause demotivation in learning Arabic for students of the Arabic Language Development Program (PPBA) at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. This research used a qualitative approach with the type of case study. The subjects in this study were ten PPBA students and lecturers at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. To collect data, the researchers observed students who were demotivated in learning Arabic, also asked the lecturers and program managers about this phenomenon, and saw the related documents. In addition, to analyze the data, the researcher used Miles and Huberman's interactive technique with the stages of reducing data that is less relevant to the research objectives, displaying it in the form of tables and narratives, then making conclusions. The researchers used source triangulation and member check techniques to test the validity of the data. The results indicated that there were types of demotivation that faced by students and there are factors that cause demotivation in students learning Arabic at PPBA. This research contributed in mapping the types of demotivation and its factors experienced by many students in learning Arabic.
