Abstract

Internationalization has grown from an insignificant challenge to a crucial priority in recent decades, becoming a vital part of global higher education systems. The key objevtive of this study was to investigate the relationship between physical activity and life satisfaction among international students attending Indonesian institutions in Java. Importance to promoting their overall well being and adaptation in a foreign academic evironmentThis study included 220 foreign students (121 (55%) male, aged 18 to 52, mean age 26.7 and SD = 5.9 years old) from various countries who were studying at several institutions in Java, Indonesia. Physical activity data were collected using IPAQ(International Physical Activity Questionnaire), and life satisfaction was measured using the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS). The non probability convenience sampling method used to collect the data and pearson statistical used to analysis the correlation between life satisfaction and physical activity. The findings showed that life satisfaction and physical activity were strongly positively correlated, with a Pearson correlation coefficient (r) of 0.806, the coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.63, indicating that variations in physical activity levels account for 63% of the variance in life satisfaction. A p-value of 0.002, well below the conventional threshold of 0.05, validated the statistical significance of this association. Regular physical exercise was associated with better levels of life satisfaction among international students. These results emphasise how important it is to include physical exercise in daily routines in order to increase foreign students' life satisfaction. To further understand the basic processes and show how physical activity and life satisfaction are related in this student population, more study is required.

Abstract

AbstractThis research focuses on the role of media from conventional to digital in sports and health. Data analysis in this research used descriptive qualitative method, involving literature study, documentation, and observation of media in society curently. The research study includes media users and parties involved in the fields of sports and health. Samples were selected purposively to produce data that reflects the diverse characteristics of Indonesian society regarding the use and utilization of information media. This research shows that the media plays significant role in shaping the way people think and act toward sports and health. Media not only provides information but is also an essential carrier in inspiring, educating, and motivating people to live healthy lives. This research contributes for increasing understanding of how media, both conventional and digital, can be the agent of change in promoting, supporting, and socializing sport and healthy lifestyles in Indonesia. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of the increasingly varied growing and even integrated role of the media in providing sport and health information to the public. Media literacy, intermedia collaboration, and the use of social media in the context of sports and health promotion are increasingly considered as an essential means in current society.Keywords: role, media, sports, health

Abstract

This study means to decide: (1) the characteristics of the psychological capacities of Indonesian volleyball players, (2) the nature of the psychological capacities of Indonesian volleyball players concerning what is going on. The kind of investigation utilized in this test is enlightening quantitative investigation, utilizing a procedure survey. with a causal-like survey focusing on the arrangement. The populace in this study were Indonesian volleyball players who participated in the eighteenth Asian Games in 2018 in Indonesia adding up to 28 Indonesian players comprising of 14 male players and 14 female players, with a commonplace time of male volleyball players matured 25 years and normal football players. volleyball. The assortment of data on volleyball for ladies matured 20 purposes The Psychological Skills Inventory for Sport (PSIS) survey.
