Abstract

Penelitian ini mempelajari pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman kedelai dengan memanfaatkan limbah hasil pertanian berupa bokashi jerami padi dan bokashi ampas tahu. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Mei sampai Agustus 2020. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Mejing, Kecamatan Candimulyo, Kabupaten Magelang. Ketinggian tempat 437 m dpl, jenis tanah regosol dengan pH 6,01. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap percobaan faktorial (2 x 4) dengan tiga blok perlakuan. Faktor pertama, bokashi jerami padi: menggunakan bokashi jerami padi dan tanpa bokashi jerami padi. Faktor kedua, bokashi ampas tahu dengan dosis: 0, 4, 12, dan 20 ton/ha. Selanjutnya data di uji lanjut beda nyata terkecil untuk faktor pertama dan uji orthogonal polynomial untuk faktor kedua. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pemberian bokashi jerami padi dan bokashi ampas tahu belum mampu memberikan peningkatan pada jumlah polong isi per tanaman dan berat biji kering per tanaman.

Abstract

This research studised the role of organic material and plant distance on onion (Allium cepa fa. ascalonicum, L.) in the land of sand Merapi eruption. Research has been conducted on August 2016 to November 2016 in the village Sawangan, District Sawangan, Magelang, Central Java Province. Altitude of 485 m above sea level, the soil type Regosol with a pH of 5.5. This study used factorial experiment (3 x 3) were arranged in a complete randomized block design (RCBD) with three block. The first factor was the organic material that was cocopeat, husk charcoal and peat. The second factor was a plant distance of 15 cm x 20 cm, 20 cm x 20 cm and 25 cm x 20 cm. The results of the studies organic material response on all parameters. Plant distance 25 cm x 20 high give the most result in the number of leaves, number of tubers per hill, tuber fresh weight per hill, tuber dry weight savings per clump and crop growth rate. The combination of organic material and plant distance of the same response on all parameters.

Abstract

The research studied the effect of dose Trichoderma spp. and composition media on growth durian seedling (Durio zibetinus, L.). Experiment conducted in August until Oktober 2016. Location of experiment in Perbotan, Kalisari, Tempuran, Magelang, Central Java. The latitude of 415 m above sea level, the soil type Latosol with a pH of 6,0. The research method used factorial experiment (3 x 4) are arranged in a complete randomized block design with three replications. The first factor was a goat manure of 1 : 0, 1 : 1, 1 : 2, and 1 : 3. The second factor was the Trichoderm spp. that was 0, 200 and 400 ml/plant. The result of the research a goat manure matter in 1 : 1 increased on lenght of shoots, fresh weight of shoots, dry weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots. Most Trichoderma spp. 200 ml/plant increased on dry weight of shoots, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots. Interaction a goat manure and Trichoderma spp. increased on dry weight of shoot, fresh weight of roots, and dry weight of roots.

Abstract

A research on yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays var. saccharata) at Various of Manure and Concentration of EM4, was conducted in October – December 2014. The location in District Mungkid, Magelang Regency, with altitude of 350 meters, with latosol soil type and soil acidity 6,0. This research used factorial (2 x 4) experiment with randomized complete block design repeated in three times. The factor is kind of manure : goat manure and chicken manure. The second factor is concentration of EM4 : 0, 5, 10 and 15 ml/l. The results show that increasing of chicken manure increase plant height, cob weight without husk leaves, sugar content, weight of 1.000 dry seeds, dry weight of the shoots and dry weight of roots, but not increase number of leaves. Treatment concentration of EM4 not increase plant height, number of leaves, cob weight without husk leaves, sugar content, weight of 1.000 dry seeds, dry weight of the shoots and dry weight of roots. Increasing concentration of EM4 on goat manure and chicken manure same response by the plant, so it does not improve all parameters were observed.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of pests that attack the various stages of plant development strawberries and measure the extent of damage to strawberry plants caused by pests. These observations were made in Tlekung Experimental Station, Research Institute for Citrus and Subtropical Fruit, Batu municipality, East Java in July until September 2018. The strawberry plants were observed consisting of three varieties, namely Sweet Charlie (SC), Dorit (DR), and Early Bright (EB). Each variety consisted of 20 plants in the vegetative and generative phases with different planting locations were in the screen house and open fields. Observations intensity of pest attacks were divided into three, namely the intensity of leaf-eating pests, pest mites and pests of fruit eaters. The results showed pests that attack strawberry plants consist of the phylum Mollusca and Arthropods. The highest intensity level of pest attacks occur at the location of strawberry cultivation in open fields than the strawberries grown in the screen house that is the pest mites reached 91,25%, which is included in the category very heavy attack on the variety SC. SC varieties were most susceptible varieties against leaf-eating pests and pest mites. Susceptibility to pests highly dependent on the age of the plant, character growth, and morphological characters.

Abstract

An experiment about of the effect auxin kind on growth of seedling of teak varieties (Tectona grandis, L.) had been done since February 15, 2016 until May 7, 2016 in Field Station on Seed Development Center and Pilot Forestry Yogyakarta at Bunder Village, Playen District, Gunung Kidul Regency, Yogyakarta which the type of soil latosol, pH 6,8 and an altitude is 160 m above sea level. The method of experiment is factorial (4x3) with randomized completely block design and three replications. The first factor is kind of auxin; there are four levels: control, IAA, IBA, NAA. The second factor is kind of varieties, there are three levels: Thailand (Siam), Cepu (Supergama) and Wanagama (Utama) variety. The result of analysis show that the uses of IBA may increases of shoot height; fresh and dry weight of shoot, root length, also fresh and dry weight of root. Cepu variety (Supergama) show the higher shoot and heaviest fresh weight of shoot. There were no efect between kind of auxin and varieties at all parameters.

Abstract

An experiment of the effect of plant distance and umber plant per hole of water spinaches (Ipomoea reptans L.) had been done since Pebruari 2016 until April 2016 in Krajan II, Soropadan Village, District Pringsurat, Temanggung regency. The height of 530 m above sea level research, latosol soil type and pH 6. The method of experiment used was factorial (3 x 4) with a randomized completly 3 block design, consist of three replications. The first factor is a plant spacing 5 cm x 5 cm, 5 cm x 10 cm, and 5 cm x 15 cm. The second factor is the number of plants per hole 1 plant, 2 plants, 3 plants and 4 plants. The results showed that the plant distance increase the yield fresh weight of root  at planting 1, 2, 3 and harvest indek at planting 1, 2. The number of plants per hole increase the yield fresh weight of plants for planting 1, 2, 3, dry weight of root at planting 2 and harvest indek at planting 1. The combination of plant distance and number of plant per hole no interaction at all parameters.

Abstract

A research to study potato yield (Solanum tuberosum, L.) var. Granola L. (G1) at various concentrations of Trichoderma sp. and planting media, has been done in April to July 2018 in Bandongan Wetan, Ngablak Village, Ngablak District, Magelang Regency. The altitude is 1300 meters. The research method used factorial experiments (4 x 3) arranged in a  randomize complete block design, repeated 3 times. The first factor is concentration of Trichodermsa sp. which consists of : 0 ml/l, 5 ml/l, 10 ml/l, and 15 ml/l. The second factor is type of planting media which consists of : soil + cow manure (2 : 1), soil + goat manure (2 : 1), and soil + chicken manure (2 : 1). The results showed that increasing the concentration of Trichoderma sp. till 15 ml/l don’t give an effect an all parameters. Soil + goat manure (2 : 1) increases yield per m2 and soil + chicken manure (2 : 1) increases harvest index. Different concentration of Trichoderma sp. on different planting media gave the regular result on all observed parameters.

Abstract

Research on efforts to increase the quantity of leaves of mulberry (Morus alba) with a wide high-nitrogen fertilizer and pruning was conducted in August and October 2015. The research location PPUS Candiroto KBM Agroforestry Perum Perhutani Unit I Central Java, in the district of Temanggung. Altitude of 600 m above the surface laut.Jenis latosol soil with a pH of 6. The research was conducted using a split plot experiment (3x3) are arranged in a complete randomized block design, repeated three times. The first factor is kind of Phonska nitrogen fertilizer, Urea and ZA. The second factor is high trimming 40, 60 and 80 cm from the ground. The results showed that fertilization using nitrogen fertilizers can promote the growth of ZA shoot length, shoot number, leaf number, stem diameter shoots, shoots fresh weight and dry weight of shoots on mulberry plants. High-trimming 60 cm of the soil surface increases the best results in the long shoots, shoot number, leaf number, stem diameter shoots, fresh weight tu-nas, and dry weight of shoots on mulberry plants.

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Kinds Organic Mulch and Prunning on Crop Cucumber (Cucumis sativus, L.).) Variety Or Green 51, was conducted from September until December 2016 Kebumen Village, District Pringsurat, Temanggung. The Altitude is 550 m, the soil pH 6. The method used was factorial (4x3) ware arranged in a complete randomized design with three replications. The first factor has kind of organic mulch with bamboo leaf litter mulch, straw mulch and rice husk mulch. The second factor has the pruning with the remaining 8 sections, 12 sections, and 12 main stem sections. The analysis showed wide organic mulch can improved of fresh weight per fruit, fresh weight per plant, volume fruit, dry weight of shoots and dry weight of roots. Pruning the main stem, leaving 12 sections increased fresh weight per fruit, fresh weight per plant and volume fruit. Different kinds of organic mulch at different pruning the main stem gave the same results on all parameters  observed.
