Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki beberapa rumusan masalah yaitu adakah peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dengan metode bermain berbantuan media angka?, dan bagaimana peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dengan metode bermain berbantuan media angka Di TK Al Qur'an Al-Hikam Tunjung Burneh Bangkalan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dengan metode bermain berbantuan media angka Di TK Al Qur'an Al-Hikam Tunjung Burneh Bangkalan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan Hubungan korelasi peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dengan metode bermain berbantuan media angka secara signifikansi diperoleh 0.003 dimana nilai ini < 0.05 artinya secara signifikansi hubungan korelasi antara variabel sangat kuat. Ditinjau dari nilai korelasi atau pearson correlations hubungan peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dengan metode bermain berbantuan media angka diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.651 nilai ini menunjukkan besar dari korelasi antara variabel. Kesimpulannya nilai hubungan korelasi sebesar 65,1% sangat berkorelasi. Nilai R Square sebesar 0,424 dimana nilai ini memberikan informasi bahwa pengaruh atau efektivitas dari peningkatan kemampuan berhitung dengan metode bermain berbantuan media angka sebesar 0,424 atau 42,4 % sangat berpengaruh. This research has several problem formulations, namely, is there an increase in numeracy skills using the playing method assisted by number media and how is the numeracy ability increased using the number media assisted playing method in the Al Qur'an Al-Hikam Tunjung Burneh Bangkalan Kindergarten?. The aim of the research is to determine the increase in ability counting using the playing method assisted by number media at the Al Qur'an Al-Hikam Tunjung Burneh Bangkalan Kindergarten. This research uses a quantitative approach and the correlation relationship between increasing numeracy skills with playing methods assisted by number media has a significance value of 0.003, where this value is <0.05, meaning that the correlation relationship between variables is very strong. Judging from the correlation value or Pearson correlations, the relationship between increasing numeracy skills with playing methods assisted by number media, a value of 0.651 is obtained. This value shows the magnitude of the correlation between the variables. In conclusion, the correlation value of 65.1% is highly correlated. The R Square value is 0.424, where this value provides information that the influence or effectiveness of increasing numeracy skills using playing methods assisted by number media is 0.424 or 42.4%, which is very influential.

Abstract

IPA merupakan mata pelajaran yang mempelajari peristiwa-peristiwa yang terjadi di alam. Pelajaran IPA memuat materi tentang pengetahuan-pengetahuan alam yang dekat dengan kehidupan siswa. Siswa diharapkan dapat mengenal dan mengetahui pengetahuan-pengetahuan alam tersebut dalam kehidupan sehari-harinya. IPA adalah pelajaran yang penting karena ilmunya dapat diterapkan secara langsung dalam masyarakat. Masalah hasil belajar yang masih belum maksimal harus segera diatasi, karena pemahaman materi di kelas VIII dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar pada tingkatan berikutnya yaitu kelas IX, terutama ketika menghadapi UN. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan memilih metode penelitian eksperimen. Peneliti mengembangkan instrumen penelitian yang valid dan reliabel untuk mengumpulkan data penelitian. Data yang dihasilkan kemudian dianalisis menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dan korelasi agar mampu menjawab rumusan masalah penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, peneliti menyimpulkan hasil penelitian sebagai berikut, antara lain: 1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penilaian berbasis proyek terhadap keterampilan proses IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kokop, 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara keterampilan proses terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kokop, dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penilaian berbasis proyek dan keterampilan proses IPA secara bersama-sama terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Kokop.

Abstract

This quantitative study investigated the influence of the problem-based learning (PBL) model on the enhancement of critical and creative thinking skills in mathematics. The population of this study comprised all students at SMK Negeri 3 Pamekasan, with a sample of 36 students from class XI PPLG 1 as the experimental group and 35 students from class XI PPLG 2 as the control group. Random sampling was employed as the sampling technique. Data was collected using pre-test and post-test instruments for critical thinking skills, consisting of 20 multiple-choice questions, and a creative thinking questionnaire with 20 statements. Data analysis involved validity testing, reliability testing, homogeneity testing, normality testing, and a T-test, all analyzed using SPSS. Based on the T-test results in Table 1) the average pre-test score for critical thinking skills in the control group was 53.71, and in the experimental group, it was 51.39. The significance value (2-tailed) was 0.521 > 0.05, indicating acceptance of the null hypothesis (H0) and rejection of the alternative hypothesis (H1). However, after the post-test, the average score for the control group was 66.00, and for the experimental group, it was 80.14. The significance value (2-tailed) was 0.000 < 0.05, indicating rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. There is an influence of the use of problem based learning models on improving critical and creative thinking skills.

Abstract

This study explores the use of big book-based learning media and its impact on students’ interest in learning and understanding of acid-base concepts in 11th-grade chemistry at SMAN 1 Ketapang. The research applies a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design. Observations revealed that students’ learning interest and conceptual understanding of acid-base topics were still low. To measure the effect, an independent sample t-test was conducted. The results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 for both learning interest and conceptual understanding, indicating a significant improvement after using big book-based media. The findings demonstrate that big books not only effectively enhance students’ motivation and comprehension but also make learning more engaging through visually appealing and well-structured content. This format allows students to read and understand material more easily, which stimulates interest and supports deeper understanding. Consequently, big book-based media can serve as an alternative solution for teachers aiming to improve students’ engagement and conceptual mastery, particularly in challenging topics like acid-base chemistry. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating creative and visually rich learning materials to foster active learning and improve educational outcomes in science subjects.
