Abstract

The advancement of information technology today has provided great benefits in the world of education. The construction of computer-based academic information system websites is part of the use of information technology. With information technology, it is possible for academic databases to be processed quickly and easily, so that in the presentation of the required academic information reports can be obtained precisely, quickly, and efficiently. SMP Negeri 2 Wewewa Utara already has sufficient information technology infrastructure, but it has not been used optimally in academic management. The school already has a computer lab and internet access, but academic data management is still carried out manually using a ledger and Microsoft Excel application. To address issues such as unintegrated student data, complex and time-consuming grade management processes, delivering academic information, and monitoring student learning progress, an academic information system is needed. The purpose of developing this system is to solve the problems contained in the previous system by creating an academic information system at SMP N 2 Wewewa Utara. With the implementation of the new system at SMP N 2 Wewewa Utara, the knowledge and skills of employees, teachers, and principals in the field of web-based academic information systems can be improved. In the development of the academic information system that will be included in the system, it includes information about students, subjects, student classes, classrooms, teachers, homeroom teachers, and student score reports. The software used is DBMS (Database Management System), while the data storage medium is MySQL and PHP as a Programming Language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan teknologi informasi sebagai media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Administrasi Sistem Jaringan di SMK N I Kodi menggunakan aplikasi Lumi Education. Dalam era digital, pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pendidikan semakin penting untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi proses pembelajaran. Lumi Education sebagai platform pembelajaran berbasis teknologi menyediakan fitur interaktif yang mendukung pemahaman siswa secara visual dan praktis. Penggunaan Lumi Education terbukti dapat memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan dinamis. Selain itu, platform ini juga mempermudah guru dalam menyampaikan materi dengan cara yang lebih menarik dan mudah dipahami. Dengan demikian, penerapan teknologi informasi melalui Lumi Education diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam menghadapi tantangan pembelajaran di era digital, terutama di bidang pendidikan vokasi.

Abstract

The library is a place to get information through books that have been provided by the Southwest Sumba Regency Library and Archives Office. The problem faced by researchers is when books have not been neatly arranged on the shelves and many books have not been archived in an application so researchers design an application to assist in making a computer-based system. The library information system application is designed with the PHP programming language and MySql as a database. From the results of this study, the library information system can be used as expected and can help officers manage book data and borrower data easily.

Abstract

The Secretariat of the Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) of Southwest Sumba Regency plays an important role in supporting local government administration. In carrying out its duties, the Secretariat produces various administrative documents that must be properly managed and maintained. However, archive management is still conducted conventionally through physical storage, which increases the risk of document damage, loss, and inefficiency in retrieval. This study aims to develop a web-based archive management information system to improve the effectiveness of document management. The research methodology involves several systematic stages, including needs analysis, system design, development, and system implementation. Data were collected through observation and interviews to identify existing problems in archive management practices. The results show that the developed system provides significant improvements in managing archives electronically. It enables faster data access, better document organization, and reduced risk of physical damage. Therefore, the system offers a practical solution to enhance administrative efficiency and support digital transformation within the DPRD Secretariat of Southwest Sumba Regency.

Abstract

Kalingara Village still faces various obstacles in financial administration. Problems in general occur such as manual financial records, a long-time report making process, and data storage that is less organized and prone to loss or damage. This condition makes it difficult for village officials, especially the treasurer and village secretary, to search for data, prepare reports, and make decisions based on valid and up-to-date financial data. This research uses software engineering research methods with descriptive and qualitative approaches. This research is focused on the process of designing and developing a web-based information system for village financial administration, which aims to solve real problems in Kalingara village. The design of the Village financial administration information system in presenting information can be used as a reference in the development of the system by the next researcher and facilitate the creation of an information system for the processing of financial administration data in the village.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based waste collection scheduling system using PHP and MySQL at the Environmental Agency of West Sumba Regency. The main problem faced is that the scheduling process is still carried out manually, resulting in inefficiency, susceptibility to errors, and difficulties in monitoring and reporting. The system development method used is the Waterfall model, which includes requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance stages. The developed system provides features for managing data on personnel, regions, vehicles, and structured waste collection scheduling. In addition, the system is equipped with notification features, schedule monitoring, and performance reporting that can be accessed by management. The results of this study indicate that the system improves effectiveness and efficiency in scheduling processes and facilitates supervision of waste collection activities. Therefore, the implementation of this system is expected to optimize and organize waste management in West Sumba Regency.
