Abstract

Pendidikan Islam yang kita lihat saat ini tidak bisa dilepaskan dari paktor politik yang mengitari bangsa Indonesia. Adanya paradigma politik yang berbeda-beda dari anak bangsa membuat pendidikan Islam berada pada posisi yang mandeg secara perkembangannya. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang kebijakan pendidikan Islam di Indonesia pada pperiode Revolusi dan Liberal.

Abstract

Regional autonomy implementations have implications for local politic expression. Political actor and community participation in local politic increase, emerge local politic actors, and local politic culture that it play the role of local politics, such as “Tuan Guru” (teacher) in Lombok. Tuan Guru has the more prominent role from the others inside Lombok local politics.There are three kind of Tuan Guru who are involved in practical politics; first, a Tuan Guru who politician that he is focuses his activity in the practical politics. His political activity is more dominant than teach about religion to the pupils (jamaah) or the rasta (santri). Second, Tuan Guru who involve in the pratical politics, but only to be a vote gather. This one thought himself doesn’t has politic capacity, especially political politics. Some people as a vote gather gain aid for his “pesantren” (boarding school) and “madrasah” (school). He prefer to teach about religion for the pupils than do pratical politics activity. Third, Tuan Guru who doesn’t take part of politics. Tuan Guru focus on religion to keep his peace of soul, statics, and conservative. He prefer oriented for the akhirat’s life (dooms day), so he looks closed from outsider dynamic inside to determine politic affiliation

Abstract

This study explores the evolving role of Tuan Guru (Islamic leaders) in Lombok during the post-New Order era, emphasizing their influence in both education and local politics. During the New Order period, Tuan Guru's roles were largely symbolic, with limited impact in the legislative or executive realms dominated by the Menak group. However, political reforms led to a significant shift, enabling Tuan Guru to gain a more prominent role in Sasak society's political and educational spheres, alongside the resurgence of Islamic political activism. The candidacy and subsequent victory of TGB Muhammad Zainul Majdi in the 2008 West Nusa Tenggara regional elections exemplify this shift, showcasing the transition of Tuan Guru from purely religious leadership to a more integrated role in political and educational domains. His success marked a departure from the traditional Menak dominance, highlighting the appeal of Tuan Guru as credible and clean alternatives in an era of political corruption. This qualitative study employs descriptive analysis and extensive library research, utilizing primary and secondary sources such as books, journals, archival documents, and relevant writings. The research underscores Tuan Guru's growing influence in shaping both the educational landscape and local politics in Lombok within the broader context of Islamic movements in Indonesia.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengeksplorasi hubungan antara Islam dan demokrasi di Iran melalui konsep Wilayatul Faqih, sebuah sistem pemerintahan yang menempatkan kekuasaan tertinggi di tangan seorang faqih atau pemimpin agama. Dalam konteks Republik Islam Iran, konsep ini menjadi dasar teokrasi yang mendominasi politik negara tersebut, menggabungkan prinsip-prinsip agama dengan elemen-elemen demokrasi. Melalui analisis historis dan teoretis, artikel ini mengevaluasi bagaimana Wilayatul Faqih berinteraksi dengan proses demokrasi, seperti pemilihan umum, kebebasan berpendapat, dan hak-hak asasi manusia. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada aspek demokrasi dalam struktur politik Iran, Wilayatul Faqih membatasi ruang gerak demokrasi secara signifikan, terutama dalam hal kekuasaan politik dan kebebasan individu.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengkaji hubungan antara agama Islam dan politik di Indonesia, mulai dari masa awal kedatangan Islam hingga era reformasi. Islam tidak hanya dipandang sebagai sistem kepercayaan individu, tetapi juga sebagai kekuatan yang memengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk politik. Terdapat tiga aliran pemikiran mengenai hubungan Islam dan negara: yang menganggap Islam sebagai sistem lengkap termasuk pemerintahan, yang memisahkan agama dari negara, dan yang melihat Islam sebagai sumber nilai etika bernegara. Sejarah menunjukkan bahwa Islam memiliki peran signifikan dalam pembentukan kebijakan dan sistem politik Indonesia, mulai dari kerajaan-kerajaan Islam, masa kolonial, hingga kemerdekaan. Organisasi seperti Sarekat Islam (SI) dan partai politik seperti Masyumi menjadi wadah perjuangan umat Islam. Pada masa Orde Baru, Islam politik dikebiri, tetapi muncul gerakan kultural seperti DDII yang memengaruhi masyarakat. Era reformasi membuka ruang bagi partai-partai Islam untuk kembali berperan dalam demokrasi. Selain itu, tulisan ini juga membahas peran kelompok tarekat dan guru sufi dalam politik, terutama dalam mobilisasi massa dan legitimasi kekuasaan. Teori Weber tentang otoritas karismatik digunakan untuk menganalisis pengaruh guru tarekat dalam politik. Kesimpulannya, Islam dan politik di Indonesia memiliki hubungan simbiosis yang kompleks, di mana agama tidak hanya menjadi panduan spiritual tetapi juga kekuatan sosial-politik yang terus berkembang seiring perubahan zaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengevaluasi implementasi program Madrasah Ramah Anak (MRA) di beberapa Madrasah Ibtidaiyah di NTB menggunakan model evaluasi Countenance Stake. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dalam aspek kebijakan, fasilitas pendukung, sumber daya manusia, implementasi kebijakan, partisipasi siswa, dan hasil program. Proses wawancara dilakukan dengan kepala madrasah, guru, siswa, dan pengawas di MIN 1 Lombok Tengah, MI Hamzanwadi 1 Pancor, MIN 1 Sumbawa, MIN 2 Sumbawa, MIN 3 Sumbawa, dan MIN 4 Sumbawa. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan MRA telah disosialisasikan, namun pelatihan untuk guru masih minim dan sebagian besar inisiatif berasal dari guru sendiri. Guru secara aktif menerapkan prinsip ramah anak melalui pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dan pendekatan inklusif, meskipun pelaksanaan belum sepenuhnya sistematis. Fasilitas pendukung seperti toilet bersih dan ruang bermain tersedia, namun belum optimal. Partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan seperti literasi Al-Qur'an dan doa bersama cukup aktif. Dampak program terlihat pada penurunan kasus bullying, peningkatan kenyamanan siswa, dan penguatan hubungan sosial. Kendala utama mencakup keterbatasan pelatihan, pemahaman orang tua yang bervariasi, dan kurangnya dukungan fasilitas,dan penerimaan siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan guru, optimalisasi fasilitas pendukung, dan penguatan kolaborasi antara madrasah dan masyarakat untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan program.

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah Islamiyah (NWDI) in the victory of the Zulkiflimansyah-Siti Rohmi Djalillah (Zul-Rohmi) pair in the 2018 NTB regional election. This research uses a qualitative method qualitative method with data collection techniques of documentation and interviews. Theories used in this research are used in this research are theories of civil society, political parties, and elections, and elections. Results The results of this study show the significant role of NWDI as a civil society in political contestation (Pilkada) 2018. in the 2018 political contestation (Pilkada). In the election, the pair zul-Rohmi, supported by NWDI, won the contestation. The influence of The influence of the leader of the NWDI organization has a big role in attracting votes. The existence of Tuan Guru Bajang (TGB) who is the leader of NWDI has a strong influence in mobilizing his congregation to vote for Zulkul-Rohmi. in mobilizing his congregation to vote for Zulkieflimansyah-Siti Rohmi Djalillah. The influence of TGB was also seen in the contestation of the previous period which also won the NTB Provincial Election. As for the reason NWDI placed its cadre as a candidate for deputy governor, not as a candidate for governor, is due to the socio-cultural conditions of the NTB community. the socio-cultural conditions of the people of NTB who still adhere to a patriarchal culture that does not want women leaders and the experience factor. patriarchal culture that does not favor women leaders and the experience factor of its cadres.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas tentang dakwah wasatiyyah yang dilakukan oleh Tuan Guru Kiyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (selanjutnya Tuan Guru Zainuddin) (1898-1997), diimplementasikan dalam penguatan pemahaman Islam Wasatiyyah yang beliau dirikan bersama murid-muridnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan yang bersumber dari buku wasiat dan sya’ir karangan Tuan Guru Zainuddin langsung, dan buku-buku lain yang terkait. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini di antaranya teori wasatiyyah, oleh Quraish Shihab yang mengatakan sesuatu itu bisa dikatakan wasat ketika ada unsur kebaikan di dalamnya dan memberikan manfaat, terbaik dari apa yang baik-baik, adil atau meletakkan sesuatu pada tempatnya, tidak condong kiri ataupun kanan (berada ditengah- tengah). Kedua, teori fungsional struktural, oleh Talcott Parson yang menyatakan sebuah struktur akan berjalan baik jika fungsi-fungsi yang lain berjalan dengan tepat. Ketiga, teori sunstainability, oleh Meadows, et.al, yang menyatakan keberlanjutan dalam sebuah rencana akan terjadi ketika seseorang mampu merespon kebutuhan sosial yang ada, dan respon itu diperuntukkan untuk kebutuhan masa kini dan masa yang akan datang. Ditemukan juga eksistensi dakwah sampai saat ini karena sikaf wasatiyaah yang diterapkan di dalamnya, memanfaatkan fungsi yang ada serta sangat responsif terhadap lingkungan sosial sekitar. This study discusses how wasatiyyah preaching carried out by Tuan Guru Kiyai Haji Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid (hereinafter referred to as Tuan Guru Zainuddin) (1898-1997) was implemented in strengthening the understanding of Islam Wasatiyyah, which he established together with his students. This study employs a qualitative method with a literature review sourced from the will and poems written by Tuan Guru Zainuddin himself, as well as other relevant books. The theories used in this study include the theory of wasatiyyah, by Quraish Shihab, which states that something can be said to be wasat when it contains elements of goodness and provides benefits, is the best of what is good, is fair, or puts things in their proper place, without leaning to the left or right (being in the middle). Second, the structural functional theory, by Talcott Parson, which states that a structure will function well if all other functions are functioning properly. Third, the theory of sustainability, by Meadows, et.al, which states that sustainability in a plan will occur when someone is able to respond to existing social needs, and that response is intended for the needs of the present and the future. The results of this study conclude that Mr. Zainuddin optimises the function of the madrasah in his series of sermons. It was also found that there are three wasatiyyah sermons in strengthening the function of preaching, which succeeded in establishing a community organisation and providing the first special madrasah for women in NTB. It was also found that the existence of dakwah persists to this day due to the application of the wasatiyyah approach, which leverages existing functions and is highly responsive to the surrounding social environment.
