Abstract

Background. Adolescents face many challenges and obstacles that come from within themselves and the environment, including health problems. Youth Integrated Service Post (Posyandu Remaja) is one of the youth empowerment efforts. Managers of Posyandu Remaja need to improve their communication skills. Objective. Increase the knowledge of Posyandu Remaja managers about health communication techniques for the community. Method. Workshop on health information communication techniques with 76 Posyandu Remaja managers. Results. Before the workshop the average knowledge score of participants was 7.87 and then changed significantly (p 0.037) to 8.26. Conclusion. The workshop increased the knowledge score about health communication techniques of Posyandu Remaja managers. Suggestion. Follow-up workshops on media materials and other materials needed in the management of Posyandu Remaja, including training of youth cadres. Abstrak Latar belakang. Remaja menghadapi banyak tantangan dan hambatan yang berasal dari dalam dirinya sendiri maupun lingkungan, termasuk masalah kesehatan. Pos Pelayanan Terpadu Remaja (posyandu remaja) merupakan salah satu upaya pemberdayaan remaja. Pengelola posyandu remaja perlu ditingkatkan keterampilannya dalam berkomunikasi. Tujuan. Meningkatkan kompetensi komunikasi informasi kesehatan para pengelola posyandu remaja. Metode. Lokakarya Teknik Komunikasi Informasi Kesehatan dengan peserta pengelola posyandu remaja sebanyak 76 orang. Hasil. Sebelum lokakarya rata-rata nilai pengetahuan peserta 7,87 kemudian berubah  signifikan (p 0,037) menjadi 8,26.   Kesimpulan. Lokakarya meningkatkan secara signifikan nilai pengetahuan teknik komunikasi informasi kesehatan pengelola Posyandu remaja.  Saran. Lokakarya lanjutan materi media dan materi lain yang diperlukan dalam pengelolaan posyandu remaja termasuk pelatihan kader remaja.

Abstract

Adolescent health problems are generally related to risky behavior and lifestyle. Adolescents' healthy lifestyles are influenced by various factors. one of which is health literacy. Teenagers tend to use new media as a source of information. so a different health literacy approach is needed namely digital health literacy. The research aims to determine the relationship between digital health literacy and a healthy lifestyle in adolescent girls aged 11-19 years. A research method is a descriptive analysis that uses secondary data. The population was 689 adolescent girl women aged 11-19 years. with a sample of 530 people selected purposively. The secondary data used was collected through interviews and anthropometric measurements. The data analysis is univariate and bivariate. The results showed that adolescent girls had good eating habits were 59.7%; 53.2% had good physical activity but 69.4% had smoked. Digital health literacy was 54.5% in the high category. and the literacy components of accessing information. evaluating. and applying information were mostly in the high category. The conclusion is there’s no relationship (p > 0.05) between digital health literacy and eating behavior. physical activity. and smoking behavior. However. there is a relationship (p<0.05) between the information access component and smoking behavior. It is necessary to study qualitatively related to this study.
