Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya hasil keterampilan menulis karangan siswa kelas IV tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 013 Pangkalan Kerinci dengan metode Field Trip. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 013 Pangkalan Kerinci. Subjek yang digunakan sebanyak 24 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 16 orang siswa laki-laki dan 8 siswa perempuan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes menulis karangan deskripsi, lembar observasi guru dan siswa sebagai tingkat keterlaksanaan dan pencapaian dalam menggunakan metode Field Trip. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dapat diketahui terdapat peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa pada muatan pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. Data awal pratindakan ketuntasan belajar 25%, pada siklus I pertemuan I meningkat menjadi 33%, siklus I pertemuan II meningkat menjadi 54% kemudian pada siklus II pertemuan I meningkat menjadi 67%, dan siklus II pertemuan II meningkat lagi menjadi 92%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan dengan metode Field Trip dapat meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi Siswa Kelas IV SDN 013 Pangkalan Kerinci. Kata kunci: Keterampilan Menulis Karangan Deskripsi, Field Trip, dan Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaktifkan efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (Problem-Based Learning) dalam membangun kesadaran kewarganegaraan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan subjek siswa kelas IV. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai kewarganegaraan dan keterlibatan mereka dalam aktivitas sosial. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, kuesioner, dan wawancara. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat menjadi alternatif yang efektif dalam pendidikan kewarganegaraan

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students to choose, arrange words, and express ideas in writing, especially writing poetry. One solution to overcome this problem is to use a round table cooperative learning model . The purpose of this study was to describe the planning, implementation and improvement of free poetry writing skills using the round table cooperative model in elementary schools. This research method is a classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages, planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were 14 grade IV students, 7 boys and 7 girls. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation and tests. The results of this study can be concluded that the pre-cycle obtained an average class value of 57.4 with classical completeness of 42.85%, increased in cycle 1 meeting 1 to 59.28 with classical completeness of 50%, increased in cycle 1 meeting 2 to 67.5 with a classical completeness of 64.28%. The class average score in cycle 2 meeting 1 was 71.78 with classical completeness of 71.42% and increased in cycle 2 meeting 2 which was 77.14 with classical completeness of 85.71%. Thus it can be concluded that by using the round table type of cooperative learning model can improve the skills of free poetry writing class IV SDN 004 Bangkinang Kota. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Flash Card media on early childhood numeracy skills at PAUD Nurul Amin, Pamarayan District, Serang Regency, Banten. The background of this research highlights the importance of appropriate stimulation in developing children's cognitive abilities during the golden age. A quantitative method with a one-group pretest-posttest design was employed. The sample consisted of one experimental group that received treatment using Flash Card media. Data were collected through observation and documentation. The analysis results showed a significant improvement in children's numeracy skills after the treatment. Children demonstrated enhanced ability in answering questions and providing accurate responses. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that Flash Card media has a positive and significant impact on the numeracy skills of early childhood learners. Therefore, this media is recommended as an engaging and effective alternative for learning in early childhood education settings

Abstract

This study was conducted to address the research questions regarding how the implementation of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) can be promoted through physical activities in children aged 5–6 years at KB PAUD Al-Hidayah, Serang Regency. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of physical activities in improving PHBS among early childhood students. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method consisting of two cycles, each including the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 9 children aged 5–6 years. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and field notes. The results showed a noticeable improvement in PHBS after the children participated in physical activities. The children began to develop habits such as washing hands with soap before meals, throwing trash in the designated place, and maintaining body hygiene after activities. These improvements were significantly evident in each cycle, as indicated by the observation sheets. The study concludes that enjoyable and structured physical activities can serve as an effective medium for instilling PHBS in early childhood. It is recommended that teachers integrate physical activities into daily routines and collaborate with parents to reinforce PHBS habits at home. Furthermore, health authorities are encouraged to support this program.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the teacher’s strategies in stimulating the creativity of children aged 5-6 years through recycling activities at PA UD Al-Hikmah, Tanara District. Creativity in early childhood is an essential aspect that should be developed from an early age, encompassing the ability to take initiative, process materials, and produce original works. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects consisted of teachers and Group B children. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that teachers implemented learning strategies based on play, experimentation, and projects. Through these activities, children were encouraged to explore various recyclable materials such as cardboard, plastic bottles, and used paper. These strategies effectively enhanced children’s creativity indicators, namely the emergence of initiative, skills in processing materials into functional products, and the ability to create unique and aesthetic works. Supporting factors included the availability of recyclable materials, active teacher involvement, and the supportive school environment. This study recommends the continuous use of recycling activities as an effective medium to stimulate creativity in early childhood

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk menggambarkan bagaimana pelaksanaan kegiatan melukis dengan jari dalam meningkatkan kemampuan gerak halus pada anak berusia 4-5 tahun yang berada di TK Al-Hikmah Kecamatan Kasemen. Penelitian dilatar belakangi oleh kondisi dimana beberapa anak mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan aktivitas seperti menggambar, menulis, maupun menggunakan peralatan. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan melukis menggunakan jari dapat meningkatkan lima aspek keterampilan gerak halus yaitu sinkronisasi mata dengan tangan, kekuatan serta fleksibilitas jari, akurasi pergerakan, penguasaan bahan, dan kesabaran. Faktor yang mendukung kesuksesan kegiatan mencakup dukungan guru, ketertarikan anak serta partisipasi keluarga. Hambatan yang ditemui berupa terbatasnya area dan durasi, serta keengganan anak terhadap kekotoran. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa melukis dengan jari adalah pendekatan yang efektif dan menggembirakan untuk merangsang kemajuan gerak halus anak di tahap awal perkembangan. Direkomendasikan supaya kegiatan ini diterapkan secara berkelanjutan dalam proses belajar mengajar di lembaga PAUD.
