Abstract

Reproductive health of young women is not only a sexual problem but also involves all aspects of reproduction, including secondary sex development, which includes soft voice, enlarged breasts, enlargement of the hip area, and menarche. Therefore, this research aims to know the effect of acupressure therapy on the intensity of menstrual pain in female students at STIKes Yatsi Tangerang. This  type  of  research  is  a  quasi-experimental  research that design  isuses  basedion  igroup  ipre-test  iand  ipost-test.  iThe  ipopulation  iin  ithis  istudy  iwas  ia  iLevel  iII  iMidwifery  istudent  iat  iSTIKes  iYatsi.  Besides, the research was carried out in March 2022. Eventually, there is a change in menstrual pain in second-level female students at STIKes Yatsi before and after acupressure therapy.

Abstract

The presence of labor pain can cause a lack of endorphins which will cause discomfort, anxiety and excessive stress which will hinder the course of labor. This study aims to determine the effect of giving ST 36 Acupressure Techniques and Deep Breathing Relaxation on maternal pain levels during Active Phase I. The design in this study used a Quasy Experiment with a personal pre and post test design, the samples taken in this study were 25 respondents. The instruments used were the VAS Pain Scale (Visual Analouge Scale) and the Observation Sheet. From the results of Univariart data testing, it was found that 96% of the age distribution were in the age group of 20-35 years, with the last education being high school with a percentage of 52%. the mother gave birth to the first stage of the active phase with a p-value of 0.000.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Upaya penurunan AKI membutuhkan aksi pada beragam level. Selain posyandu, kelas ibu hamil juga dianggap sebagai kelas yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil dalam mengenali risiko dan tanda bahaya selama masa kehamilan serta sebagai sarana penting untuk merubah sikap dan perilaku ibu hamil. Dengan adanya kelas ibu hamil ini diharapkan seluruh ibu hamil dapat memiliki kemampuan melakukan deteksi dini tanda bahaya kehamilan sehingga ibu hamil dapat dengan nyaman melakukan proses persalinan tanpa ada kekhawatiran terhadap proses persalinan yang dihadapi dan secara tidak langsung dapat menurunkan angka kematian ibu Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan penjelasan dan pemahaman tentang tanda bahaya kehamilan melalui media gambar atau poster, PPT dan video. Hasil: Dari 29 responden 13 ibu hamil (44,82%) berpendidikan SD, 12 ibu hamil (41,37%) berpendidikan SMP dan 4 ibu hamil (13,79) berpendidikan SMA. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan responden (ibu hamil) tentang tanda bahaya kehamilan.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Program kelas ibu hamil adalah salah satu bentuk pendidikan prenatal yang dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil, terjadi perubahan perilaku positif sehingga ibu memeriksakan kehamilan dan melahirkan ke tenaga kesehatan dengan demikian akan meningkatkan persalinan ke tenaga kesehatan dan menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan anak. Metode: Pendidikan kesehatan/ penyuluhan, diskusi dan tanya jawab, pemeriksaan, pemutaran video dan demonstrasi senam bersama. Hasil: Setelah diberikan materi secara intensif, jumlah ibu hamil yang mempunyai pengetahuan baik mengalami peningkatan dari 4 (26,7%) meningkat menjadi 12 (80%). Hasil uji marginal homogeniety, diketahui p value=0,013 (p value < 0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pengetahuan ibu hamil sebelum dan sesudah diberikan penyuluhan tentang perawatan kehamilan, persiapan persalinan, gizi ibu hamil, anemia dan tanda bahaya kehamilan. Kesimpulan: Setelah enam bulan secara intensif kelas ibu hamil ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Rawalumbu diperoleh kesimpulan: 1). Pengetahuan ibu hamil menjadi meningkat. 2). Sikap ibu hamil emnjadi meningkat. 3). Praktik senam hamil menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Lotus birth is a normal delivery process, there is no need to clamp the umbilical cord as usual, let alone cut the umbilical cord, allowing the umbilical cord to separate naturally in newborns. Lotus birth can prevent anemia in newborns, so that the baby still gets a blood supply. through the placenta which contains red blood cells, iron, hormone oxygen and other enzymes. This study aims to understand more deeply the experience of mothers who gave birth with Lotus Birth. The researcher involved 29 participants who were selected through a purposive sampling technique based on (1) mothers who had previous experience of giving birth with the lotus birth method. (2) mothers who gave birth by lotus birth. (3) mothers who agreed were taken as the research sample. (4) mothers who gave birth normally and spontaneously without complications. The interviews were conducted in a formally structured manner and analyzed by descriptive analysis method.

Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is the most common gynecological complaint that women experience, especially when entering their teens. This study was aimed to determine the effect of cinnamon (Cinnamomum Burmanni) aromatherapy by inhalation on the intensity of primary dysmenorrhea in female students of SMPN 1 Bekasi. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental design which is an experimental activity aimed at seeing an effect or symptom that appears due to a certain treatment, using a sample of 30 samples. Of the 30 respondents, the average score before the intervention was 6.067 while after the intervention the average score was 3.100.

Abstract

Emesis gravidarum results in a decrease in appetite, this situation can cause changes in electrolyte balance with potassium, calcium and sodium which result in changes in body metabolism. Therefore, in reducing nausea and vomiting pregnant women should use complementary therapies that can be done easily at home. Pharmacological function is antiemetic (anti-vomiting). Lime has flavonoids, the flavonoid content is known to neutralize acidic digestive fluids, releasing toxins in the body. This study was conducted to determine the differences in the effectiveness of giving a combination of boiled red ginger and mint leaves and a combination of lime and honey on the intensity of nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women. This study used a quasi-experimental research design with a pretest-posttest with control group design. Sampling by purposive sampling. The sample size was 28 pregnant women in the first trimester at the Cikande Public Health Center, Serang Regency. The research instrument is an observation sheet. Data analysis used Mann Whitney statistical test. The results of his research using the Mann Whitney statistical test showed a p-value of 0.498, this means that there is no significant difference in decreasing the intensity of nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women at the Cikande Health Center, Serang Regency between those given boiled red ginger and mint leaves and a combination of lime. and honey for 4 days of treatment. It is hoped that health workers will provide education to pregnant women in traditional medicine or local wisdom.

Abstract

Pain is a form of discomfort felt by the mother at the time of delivery. One way that can be used to overcome the problem of pain during labor is to apply massage techniques. Among them, the counter pressure massage technique can be done in the lumbar region using the heel of the hand or fist. And the kneading technique is massaging or squeezing using the palms of the hands or fingers to pinch some parts of the skin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of counter pressure and kneading techniques on reducing pain intensity in the first stage of normal delivery in primiparous mothers at BPM Evi Sriaayuningtyas. Method This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The population in this study were all mothers who gave birth vaginally at BPM Evi Sriaayuningtyas in March-April 2022, a sample of 30 people was obtained using purposive sampling technique. Research Results: Based on the results of hypothesis testing using the Wilcoxon test, the value of < (0.000 < 0.05) stated that there was an effect of counter pressure techniques and kneading techniques on reducing pain intensity in the first stage. Conclusion The application of counter pressure techniques and kneading techniques can be used as a intervention in helping mothers in labor to cope with labor pain.

Abstract

Perineal massage is a perineal massage technique that is carried out during pregnancy about 1-6 weeks before delivery. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of perineal massage in primigravida pregnant women against perineal rupture during delivery. Research Methods: quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental) using 40 samples of pregnant women in the third trimester. Collecting data using questionnaire sheets and respondent contract sheets. Data analysis was carried out using the Chi Square test. Research Results: From 40 samples of primiparous women who gave birth, more respondents in the experimental group did not experience perineal rupture, namely 17 (85%). Meanwhile, the control group respondents who experienced more tears were 16 (65%) and p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) with OR = 16.924. Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between perineal massage in primigravida pregnant women and perineal rupture during delivery at the Bilal Medika clinic in 2022.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Di Indonesia sendiri, diperkirakan 15.000 kasus baru kanker serviks terjadi setiap tahunnya, sedangkan angka kematiannya diperkirakan 7.500 kasus pertahun. Angka kejadian kanker serviks menurut kota Surabaya menempati posisi pertama dengan angka 9761 kasus dan DKI Jakarta menempati urutan ke 2 dengan angka 5411 kasus (M.F Rozi, 2013). Banyaknya penderita kanker serviks salah satu nya disebabkan oleh rendahnya pengetahuan perempuan tentang kanker serviks, rendahnya cakupan deteksi dini kanker serviks dan belum semua wanita usia subur mengetahui cara deteksi dini kanker serviks. Berdasarkan sensus penduduk (SP) 2009 wanita usia 15-24 tahun berjumlah 40,75 juta dari seluruh penduduk yang berjumlah 23,6 juta jiwa, sebesar 25,4 % yang pengetahuannya rendah ( Badan Pusat Statistik, 2013). Metode: Metode yang digunakan dalam program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pemeriksaan IVA. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan didapatkan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan IVA Kesimpulan: Implikasi dari hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah perlu dilakukanya penyuluhan kesehatan tentang pentingnya pemeriksaan IVA.
