Abstract

Konsitusi memberikan kedudukan yang sama dan persamaan hak antar warga negara. Bentuk persamaan hak salah satunya adalah kebebasan menyampaikan pendapat. Dimana salah satunya adalah adanya jaminan kemerdekaan pers. Pers adalah lembaga sosial dan wahana komunikasi massa yang melaksanakan kegiatan jurnalistik yang meliputi mencari, memperoleh, memiliki, menyimpan, mengolah, dan menyampaikan informasi baik dalam bentuk tulisan, suara, gambar, suara dan gambar, serta data dan grafik maupun dalam bentuk lainnya dengan menggunakan media cetak, media elektronik, dan segala jenis saluran yang tersedia. Adapun yang menjadi permasalahan dalam tulisan ini adalah Bagaimana peran dan fungsi pers dalam penegakkan serta Bagaimana Tanggung Jawab Pers dan Kode Etik Pers ditinjau dari UU Nomor 40 Tahun 1999. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif. Adapun kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini pertama bahwa Pers merupakan pilar demokrasi keempat setelah eksekutif, legislatif dan yudikatif, pers sebagai kontrol atas ketiga pilar itu dan melandasi kinerjanya dengan check and balance. untuk dapat melakukan peranannya perlu dijunjung kebebasan pers dalam menyampaikan informasi publik secara jujur dan berimbang. Kedua kebebasan Pers bukan mutlak untuk pers semata, melainkan untuk menjamin hak-hak masyarakat untuk memperoleh informasi.

Abstract

Sampah plastik di Kalurahan Sidomulyo, Bambanglipuro, Bantul belum dikelola dengan baik, sehingga menimbulkan penumpukan di Bank Sampah Bareng Mukti. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi masyarakat Kalurahan Sidomulyo terkait pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi ecobrick stool chair. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode sosialisasi dan praktik kepada 16 peserta anggota Bank Sampah Bareng Mukti dan masyarakat Kalurahan Sidomulyo. Evaluasi pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode angket menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan mampu membuat ecobrick stool chair dari botol plastik bekas dan sampah plastik lainnya. Ecobrick stool chair disusun berdasarkan modul HexBench. Hasil evaluasi keterserapan materi yang disampaikan selama pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan nilai rerata dari 82,25 (pretest) menjadi 96,06 (posttest). Rerata penilaian yang diberikan oleh peserta terkait materi dan performa instruktur secara keseluruhan adalah lebih dari 90 (sangat baik). Penilaian seluruh aspek kegiatan pelatihan oleh peserta terkait penyelenggaraan pelatihan menunjukkan hasilnya yang baik (rerata di atas nilai 4).

Abstract

The number of students with disabilities registering to study in Indonesia is expected to increase by 2024. This means that teachers need to know about inclusive education, especially this research will focus on prospective English teachers. Therefore, this study investigates the attitudes of prospective English teachers towards Inclusive Education, their determination to teach inclusive classes, and the implications for teaching practice. This research aims to identify factors that influence the understanding and implementation of inclusivity, explore teachers' practical experiences in creating an inclusive learning environment, and evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies used. This research uses a combined research method with explanatory sequential design. 100 prospective English teachers from several universities in Indonesia were involved as participants to answer the questionnaire. The questionnaire contains 17 questions. Quantitative data was analyzed using SPSS version 25 to determine the average value and correlation between attitude and determination. The results showed that prospective English teachers had high average scores in attitude and determination. However, the interview results showed that they had doubts about teaching in inclusion classes due to lack of preparation. This study shows that despite their positive attitude and determination, these prospective teachers would benefit from professional development courses and programs to better prepare themselves to teach in inclusion classes, which would reduce their doubts. The implications of this research can provide insight for educational policy makers in designing curricula that support the implementation of the principle of inclusivity in schools.

Abstract

Augmented reality-based learning media was developed in helping to improve spatial ability and understanding of mathematical concepts in elementary schools. Before developing learning media, teachers have to analyze initial needs. The purpose of this research is to analyze the initial needs for developing augmented reality-based learning media in elementary schools, especially in prism. The initial needs analyzed include the conditions and description of mathematics learning that have been learned. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research, by using data collection techniques in the form of interviews with fifth grade teachers, direct observation in the class and questionnaires distributed to fifth grade students. The results of the research show that mathematics is still a difficult lesson for students. So far, teachers still use less representative learning media so that students have difficulty understanding the mathematical concept of geometric shapes. Students hope to be able to learn mathematics using technology-based media which can make them more interested in learning and understanding mathematical concepts. The conclusion from the initial needs analysis is augmented reality-based learning media is needed to improve fifth grade students' spatial ability and understanding of mathematical concepts in prism.
