Abstract

The increasing number of elderly people pays special attention to those who are experiencing an aging process. There are some problems that need special attention as the results of aging, such as physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and sexual changes. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationships between anxiety with hypertension of the elderly in subdistrict of Lampe working area of East Rasanae Public Health Center, Bima City.The research design of this study is cross sectional with correlation study approach. Around 23 elderly with hypertension was used as sample in the study. Sampling techniques used was total Sampling. The instrument used was questionnaires and spermank rank ws used for data analysis used.Based on the results of the questionnaire, 12 respondents showed no symptoms at all (52.2%), mild anxiety was amounted to 10 respondents (43.5%). 16 respondents (69.6%) were considered to have Hypertension at Stage I. This could also be seen from the test value analysis between anxiety and hypertension of the elderly where p value was greater than the significant level of 0.05 (p value>α) so that Ha was rejected and H0 was accepted, meaning that there was no relationship between anxiety and hypertension of the elderly in the subdistrict of Lampe working area of East Rasanae Public Health Center, Bima City.From the analysis, it can be concluded that there was no relationship between anxiety and hypertension of the elderly. Anxiety in the elderly is not a major factor that can trigger hypertension, yet there are other factors that should be considered by the elderly such as lifestyle and hereditary factors.

Abstract

Flood disaster is one type of natural disaster that very often occurs in Indonesia, Indonesia experienced flood events according to the Indonesian Disaster Information Data (DIBI) for the last 5 years as many as 4031 times and in the province of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) it showed a number of 111 flood events with One of them was Mataram city which experienced 11 incidents and West Lombok flooded 26 times. Disaster prevention is one of the focuses in schools by empowering teenagers to understand knowledge about disaster preparedness in students as one solution that needs to be done because children are one of the vulnerable groups who are at risk of being affected by disasters. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using Audio Visual media on knowledge of flood disaster preparedness at SMPK ST Antonius Mataram.The population in this study were students in grades VII and VIII, totaling 62 people. The sample in this study as many as 58 people with a sampling technique that is purposive sampling with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The research design used in this study was pre-experimental through a one group pre-test-post-test design approach. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Analysis of this data using statistical test data analysis Wilcoxon signed rankings test.Based on the results of the study, there was an effect of using Audio Visual media on knowledge of flood disaster preparedness at SMPK ST Antonius Mataram.

Abstract

Proses menua dipengaruhi oleh fenomena data hipertensi yang kompleks dan multidimensial dimana tingkat kecepatannya berbeda pada setiap individu. Usia yang semakin bertambah dapat menyebabkan kemunduran beberapa fungsi fisik maupun psikologis yang dialami lansia akibat proses menua (aging process) termasuk dapat menyebabkan masalah kesehatan pada lansia. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Pengaruh pemberian air seledri terhadap hipertensi pada lansia di balai sosial lanjut usia Mandalika Mataram.Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pre Test-Post Test With Control Design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah lansia yang berada di BSLU Mandalika Mataram yang berjumlah 36 yang dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol 18 orang dan perlakuan 18 orang. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan Purposive sampling. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah Lembar orsevasi Pengukuran Tekanan Darah Spygmomanometer air raksa, stetoskop. Analisa data menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan mann whitney.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa hipertensi pada responden sebelum pemberian rebusan air seledri 18 orang yang hipertensi sedang 10 responden dan 8 responden hipertensi ringan, sesudah pemberian rebusan air seledri sebanyak 16 responden mengalami hipertensi ringan dan 2 responden hipertensi Sedang, dari uji analisa di dapatkan nilai p value 0.000 dengan taraf signifikan 0.05 maka p value < α sehingga H0 di tolak dan Ha di terima.Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah di dapatkan ada pengaruh pemberian rebusan air seledri terhadap hipertensi pada lansia. Maka dari itu diharapkan dapat memberilan rebusan air seledri pada lansia untuk mengotrol hipertensi pada lansia.

Abstract

Respiratory disorder has very high prevalence in Mataram District hospital in January to May 2018. They are 326 cases of patients with respiratory disorder. One of treatments for patiens with respiratory disorder is pursed lips breathing (PLB). This research is aimed at determining the effect of training of pursed lips breathing on oxygen saturation of patients with respiratory disorder in emergency room of Mataram District Hospital. This research is pre-exsperimental study with two group pre-test post-test design. The samples were selected through non-probality accidental sampling. The data were analyzed with paired-test using SPSS 16. The data were collected through observation and pulse Oxymetry. Based of study found ther is effect of pursed lips breathing on oxygen saturation in patients with respiratory disorder in Mataram District hospital. It is inferred that there is effect of providing pursed lips breathing on oxygen saturation of patients with respiratory disorder in emergency room of Mataram District Hospitsl. It is recommended that training of pursed lips breathing be used to improve life quality of patients with respiratory disorder.
