Abstract

Counting skill is a basic ability that must be possessed by students as a provision in everyday life. Fractions understanding is not only a number calculation but also a problem-solving process. Therefore, students must be able to understand fractional calculations before understanding the next material. This research was a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of 20 4th-grade students in Jagoan Muhammadiyah Islamic Elementary School (MI Muhammadiyah Jagoan), Sambi, Boyolali. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and study documents. The triangulation technique was employed to achieve data validity. Data analysis used interactive techniques with stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The purpose of this research was to observe the students' understanding of counting fractions. The results revealed that most students were still deficient in understanding fractions. It could be seen from the classical average of students that the score was only 16, which was still far below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) of 65. Of the 20 students, none of them achieved a score above the KKM.

Abstract

PT. Hansindo Mineral Persada menggunakan dua alat yang berbeda dalam melakukan kegiatan pengupasan lapisan tanah penutup (overburden). Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dilakukan pengambilan data dilapangan dengan mengamati waktu edar, hambatan kerja, waktu kerja, serta informasi terkait kebutuhan harga alat gusur dan alat gali-muat, bahan bakar, pelumas dll. Hasil produktivitasnya didapatkan untuk alat gusur Bulldozer Shantui BD-41 SD16 sebesar 190,76 m³/jam atau 1499,37 m³/hari dan untuk Excavator Hitachi-ZX210F-5G sebesar 186,94 m³/jam atau 146932,03 m³/hari dan untuk biaya pengoperasian alat gusur Bulldozer Shantui BD-41 SD16 sebesar Rp 1.686.729,14/jam dan untuk alat gali-muat Excavator Hitachi ZX210F-5G sebesar Rp748.293,14 /jam, dengan total biaya sebesar Rp. 2.435.022,28. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan waktu kerja efektif pada kegiatan pengupasan lapisan tanah penutup (overburden) untuk menghidari penumpukan tanah dengan dua alat gali-muat Hitachi ZX210F-5G yaitu sebesar 198,19 m³/jam atau 1557,84 m³/hari dan melebihi hasil pengupasan menggunakan alat Bulldozer Shantui BD-41 SD16. Rekomendasi kedua dengan pergantian dua alat gali-muat dengan merk/type Hitachi ZX210F-5G biaya operasional yang tadinya sebesar Rp. 2.435.022,28/jam berkurang menjadi Rp. 1.496.58,28. Kata kunci: alat gusur dan alat gali-muat, biaya pengoperasian, produktivitas, waktu edar.
