Artikel ini membahas tentang proses industrialisasi di Kabupaten Pasuruan, utamanya Pasuruan Industrial EstateRembang (PIER). Permasalahan yang dikaji dalam artikel ini adalah sejarah berdirinya kawasan industri PIER,bagaimana kondisi kawasan PIER dari tahun 1992-2007 dan dampak adanya industri PIER terhadap masyarakatdan Pemda. Data yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah data-data hasil studi pustaka berupa buku,laporan, terbitan khusus, survey lapangan, dan wawancara. Adapun hasil dari analisis data adalah kenyataanbahwa keberadaan kawasan industri PIER berdampak positif baik terhadap masyarakat sekitar kawasan PIERkhususnya maupun masyarakat Pasuruan pada umumnya serta terhadap Pemerintah daerah setempat. Dampakterhadap masyarakat adalah munculnya pusat-pusat ekonomi baru, terserapnya tenaga kerja dan perkembangankota. Sementara dampak bagi Pemerintah daerah adalah peningkatan PAD, baik dari sektor pajak maupun sektoryang lain.Kata Kunci: industrialisasi, perubahan, PIER

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebijakan apa saja yang diterapkan oleh pemerintah Indonesia terhadap etnis Tionghoa, mendeskripsikan reaksi etnis Tionghoa di Jember terhadap kebijakan pemerintah tersebut, serta menelusuri dampak yang terjadi akibat berlakunya kebijakan pemerintah Indonesia terhadap etnis Tionghoa khususnya di Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode historis. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah berupa surat kabar, berbagai literatur buku, internet maupun sumber lain yaitu berupa wawancara. Teknis analisis data menggunakan teknis analisis historis, yaitu analisa yang mengutakamakan dalam mengolah suatu data sejarah. Prosedur penelitian melalui empat tahap yaitu : heuristik, kritik, interprestasi, dan historiografi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kebijakan yang keluar sejak zaman Reformasi memberi kebebasan bagi etnis Tionghoa dalam berbagai bidang, tepatnya saat semua kebijakan yang melarang berbagai aktivitas kehidupan orang Tionghoa dicabut oleh pemerintahan semasa Gus Dur. Respons etnis Tionghoa di Jember cukup antusias untuk menerima semua perubahan tersebut, dan dari perubahan tersebut terjadi proses asimilasi budaya antara orang Tionghoa dengan masyarakat lokal di Jember. Dampak dari berbagai peraturan tersebut ternyata mengubah orientasi atau pandangan etnis Tionghoa. Dapat dikatakan orang Tionghoa di Jember telah beradaptasi dengan budaya lokal yang lebih bersifat ke- Indonesiaan. Kata kunci: Kebijakan pemerintah, etnis Tionghoa, Jember

This study is aimed at developing the application of responsibility through the implementation of Numbered Head Together model in the social science learning process. The type of this research was descriptive analysis using qualitative approach. The subjects of the study were the third-grade students and teachers of social science learning in Sukoharjo Sub-district. Data collection techniques in this study were documentation studies, observation, and interviews. The findings of the research were analyzed using interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman model and presented through descriptive narrative text. The results of the research show that: 1) the learning result of the third-grade students in social science subject is not maximal yet, 2) the students are not aware of the social science learning objectives for their future, 3) the teachers remain applying the conventional model, 4) the teacher has not implemented the social science learning process involving the students' responsibility. The characteristics of Numbered Head Together learning model are suitable to be applied in learning social science because it makes the students serious in learning, develop thinking skills, and improve social relationships among students that can be used as a means to develop the studenta’ responsibilities in the social studies learning process. DOI: https://doi.org/10.24071/ijiet.2018.020202

The purpose of this article is to discuss how the realization of maduranisation bureaucracy elite in Besuki Residency in 1818-1942. Maduranisation is a policy from the colonial government implicated by the elected candidate of regent. They are Madurese, although geographically, Besuki Resindence is located in East Java. This policy is implicated by argumentation and good political calculation. Besides, the elite communities in Madura are loyal to the Dutch government. They hope that they will have a good relation because the local governments execute the daily governance. On the other hand, the majority of government comes from Javanese. Consequently, the accumulation of power is failed because it is able to destroy the Dutch colonial government. Artikel ini ditulis dengan tujuan untuk membahas tentang bagimana pelaksanaan maduranisasi elite birokrasi di Karesidenan Besuki dari 1818-1942.Maduranisasi adalah sebuah kebijakan dari pemerintah kolonial yang dilaksanakan melalui pemilihan bupati dari etnis Madura walaupun secara geografis Karesidenan Besuki terletak di Jawa Timur. Kebijakan ini dilakukan berdasarkan argumentasi dan perhitungan politik yang baik bahwa elite Madura sangat loyal terhadap pemerintah Belanda. Pemerintah Belanda berharap di satu pihak bupati dari etnis Madura akan menjadi partner yang baik, sebaliknya di pihak lain Pemerintah Hindia Belanda bisa memotong alur/keturunan dari penguasa lama (Blambangan). Hasil dari kebijakan ini adalah, empat kabupaten di Karesidenan Besuki secara perlahan didominasi oleh elite Madura, terutama keturunan dari Pamekasan dan Sumenep, sementara keturunan dari penguasa Blambangan hanya memerintah sampai tahun 1889.ÂÂ

Javanese is one of the famous culture that owned by Indonesia. As one of the culture that enough reckoned , javanese had a wide range of science .Not only the mosaic customs and any kind of a ceremony that he had, but the woman too. This study was a qualitative research aiming to describe negative labeling/ stereotype existing inside javanese women. Used a technique of analysis contents and interview, researchers will processing the data in the form of quotations novel with three stages: reduction , display data and data verification. The result of research showed that there were several negative labels. Firstly, men are considered as smarter than women, so that can be family’s more pride. Secondly, women having protruding breast are equivalent to ledhek or prostitute. Thirdly, gelung/sanggul (hair bun) is a symbol of women’s beauty. Fourthly, women producing sound of smacking lips during eating are just like animal. Fifthly, kitchen becomes basic standard of ability of taking care of husband and future household. .As part of science, feminism need to introduced to school through language class.

AbstractWarga Negara Asing (WNA) tertarik datang ke Indonesia dengan beberapa latar belakang seperti tertarik pada budaya, makanan, sosial, dan lain sebagainya. Melalui latar belakang tersebut WNA harus berkecimpung dengan Warga Negara Indonesia (WNI) melalui bahasa yaitu bahasa Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan kesalahan pengucapan kosakata pelajar BIPA di UPT Bahasa Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa asing pelajar BIPA tingkat dasar di UPT Bahasa Universitas Sebelas Maret. Pelajar BIPA berasal dari lima negara yaitu Polandia, Filipina, Thailand, Vietnam, dan Meksiko. Kelima pelajar BIPA tersebut memiliki kemampuan dasar bahasa Indonesia yang berbeda. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian diuraikan dengan deskripsi data kesalahan pengucapan kosakata pelajar BIPA dari hasil temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan pengucapan kosakata responden yang berasal dari Polandia, Filipina, Thailand, Vietnam, dan Meksiko masih sangat beragam. Kesalahan pengucapan kosakata pelajar BIPA tersebut di dalam penelitian ini di klasifikasikan setiap responden penelitian.

The purpose of this study was to describe the form of ecranitation of novels into films the Dilan 1990 by Pidi Baiq and Fajar Bustami. Ecranisation is a study in the form of transfer of vehicles or transformation from a work of art into film. The transformation in this study is different from the form of presentation. This research used qualitative using the method of content analysis. The analysis of the research was carried out in an ecranisation approach. Data were collected through library studies and sources of data from Dilan 1990 novels and films. The result of the study showed the realization of ecranisation novel and film in the 190 Dilan with new shortcomings additions and variation from the content of the story and the constituent elements of the story.Keyword: Ecranisation, Dilan 1990, Literature, film, novel  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan wujud ekranisasi dalam novel ke film Dilan 1990 karya Pidi Paiq dan Fajar Bustami. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang maupun menyusun instrumen assessment for learning berbasis portofolio yang dilengkapi dengan rubric penilaian bagi guru-guru SD di kecamatan Laweyan Surakarta. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahapan yaitu: 1). pemaparan materi asesmen, 2) pelatihan menyusun instrumen penilaian berbasis porofolio, 3) pendampingan dalam mengimplementasikan instrumen penilaian portofolio dalam kelas, 4) Evaluasi kegiatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan partisipatif, dan pendampingan terdiri atas tahapan analisis kebutuhan peserta pelatihan, merancang instumen assessment for learning berbasis portofolio dan melakukan pendampingan di sekolah. Subjek yang dilibatkan sebanyak 20 guru SD di Kecamatan Laweyan Kota Surakarta. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah memberian tugas dalam merancang instrumen penilaian portofolio. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan respon positif guru dalam mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan dan meningkatnya kompetensi guru dalam menyusun assessment for learning berbasis portofolio. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari persentase kehadiran peserta latihan 90 %, dan 82.% dari total peserta telah berhasil menyusun dan mempresentasikan instrumen penilaian portofolio.

Globalization not only affects positively the technology development, but also can affect negatively the character of young generation. It is here that civic education is very desirable as a measure of internalizing nationalism values, so that although young generations have global competencies, they remain to maintain nationalistic values. This research aims to describe the role of teachers as the instructor of civic education in internalizing nationalism values to primary school students. This was a descriptive qualitative research with 25 5th (fifth) graders in public primary schools in Surakarta, Central Java, Indonesia being the sample. Techniques of collecting data used were observation, questionnaire, and interview. Source and technique triangulations were used to validate the data. The result of research showed that teachers’ intervention is very vital to students’ nationalistic values. The data shows that 72% of students have high enthusiasm with discussion, 82% are very tolerant to diversity, and 80% love Indonesian original products. It indicates that teachers’ intervention also contributes to reducing the negative effect of globalization, directly determining the students’ nationalistic attitude.

This study aims to analyze the ability of preservice elementary teacher ability in poetry writing containing character education with local wisdom persepective. Mix method research approach is used with research design is triangulation design. The research subjects were 35 students of the elementary school teacher education program. The data were obtained through the technique of writing poetry tests and interviews. The analysis of the test used aspects of poetry writing skills. The research findings provide views that students have been able to write poetry with their own imagination, include the meaning of poetry, the advice, and are able to integrate character values with local wisdom. Mastery of the diction aspect is the lowest among other aspects that need to be improved. Recommendations of this research to educators and future research as a review for developing effective Indonesian language learning in the elementary school teacher education program, especially in productive language skills, namely creative writing with character education and local wisdom.
