Abstract

This study explores how Article 45 of Law No. 1 of 1974 concerning Marriage is applied to fulfill children's rights after divorce. The main focus of this study is to understand how the principle of legal certainty, which is the legal basis in Indonesia, is implemented in divorce cases, especially related to the fulfillment of children's rights. This study uses a normative juridical method with a legislative approach and secondary data analysis. The results of this study show that although Article 45 of the 1974 UUP explicitly regulated the obligations of parents to fulfill the rights of children after divorce, in practice, there are still various obstacles. These obstacles include a lack of legal understanding and awareness from the parties, as well as gaps in the application of the law that cause children's rights to not be fully fulfilled. This study recommends improving regulations and increasing supervision in implementing existing policies. Thus, it is hoped that children's rights in divorce cases can be better protected, in line with the principle of legal certainty guaranteed by law.

Abstract

Penangkapan ikan secara ilegal, tidak dilaporkan, dan tidak diatur (Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated/IUU Fishing) merupakan ancaman serius terhadap keberlanjutan sumber daya kelautan Indonesia. Meski telah memiliki tujuh lembaga penegak hukum yang berwenang di laut, Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan dalam mewujudkan penegakan hukum yang harmonis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang menghambat harmonisasi penegakan hukum terhadap IUU Fishing di wilayah perairan Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian hukum normatif dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa hambatan utama terletak pada tumpang tindih kewenangan antar lembaga, lemahnya koordinasi, keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana, serta rendahnya kompetensi sumber daya manusia penegak hukum. Selain itu, tidak efektifnya regulasi dan belum optimalnya peran Badan Keamanan Laut (Bakamla) turut memperburuk kondisi penegakan hukum di laut. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menekankan perlunya sinkronisasi regulasi, peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan, dan penguatan koordinasi antar lembaga guna menciptakan sistem penegakan hukum yang terpadu dan efektif dalam memberantas praktik IUU Fishing di perairan Indonesia.

Abstract

Agriculture plays a crucial role in supporting a country's food security and economy. In Indonesia, the agricultural sector also has a major influence on inflation, especially through the commodities of rice, cayenne pepper, and red pepper. However, in Garut Regency, the main problem faced is the crop failure of several farming commodities due to farmers' ignorance in effective farmland management. The need for a new approach to improve agricultural knowledge and management arises, and in this context, the development of an IoT-based soil and environment monitoring system is an appropriate solution. Through this technology, agricultural extension workers can access up-to-date and accurate information on farmland conditions, assist in better decision-making, and provide warnings when soil conditions are not optimal

Abstract

The rapid digitalization of Indonesia's economy has created unprecedented opportunities for micro and small enterprises (MSEs) to participate in platform-based commerce. However, most MSEs operate without adequate understanding of legal obligations under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022) and e-commerce regulations, particularly regarding privacy policies and terms & conditions. This qualitative research examined the effectiveness of legal mentoring programs in enhancing digital legal literacy among 45 MSE operators in Jakarta and Yogyakarta. Through thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document review, the study identified critical knowledge gaps in data protection compliance, contractual obligations, and platform-specific legal requirements. The findings reveal that structured mentoring interventions focusing on policy documentation significantly improved participants' capacity to formulate legally compliant privacy policies and terms & conditions tailored to platform operations. The research proposes a community-based digital legal literacy framework that integrates state-led policy guidance, peer mentoring networks, and accessible legal resources. These mechanisms are essential for MSEs to navigate the complexities of the platform economy while protecting both consumer rights and business sustainability in Indonesia's evolving digital landscape
