Abstract

This study aims to create new business opportunities for students using information technology (IT) and the internet by becoming entrepreneurs. The basic concept of using IT and the Internet is to be the main actor in the development of e-commerce and to be a part of it by using certain methods. One method that can be applied in e-commerce is the dropshipping method. With this dropshipping method, anyone can sell goods/services without having to have a stock of goods/services simply by collaborating with manufacturers, shops, and suppliers. The method in this research is an experimental research method. Explorative research aims to explore or deepen knowledge, phenomena, and new ideas to formulate problems in detail. From the research results on 32 students who became participants, the success rate of implementing the dropshipping method in this study was 71.87%, namely 23 students succeeded in selling products while nine other students failed to sell products or 28.13%. This direct practice's high level of success can be used as a reference for development and broad application in creating new business opportunities for students by becoming a dropshipper.

Abstract

WHO in 2013 released data in the Global Tuberculosis Report that 8.6 million more people were positive for TB, and 15.12% of them died. One of the causes of death due to tuberculosis is too late to know when it is infected and too late to get treatment. For an initial diagnosis of whether someone has TB, they can immediately go to a hospital or use a computer application that has an expert's ability. This study aims to design an expert system for the early diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis using the Forward Chaining method. Expert System is one part of Artificial Intelligence that can create a computer program to provide decisions and analysis like an expert or expert in a particular field. The research method used in this study is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE approach. The expert system for early diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis is designed by making a decision tree diagram to find out the rules needed to diagnose whether a person has intestinal tuberculosis from the symptoms experienced. The formulation of the problem or the rules needed for the initial diagnosis of intestinal tuberculosis in this study was built using the Forward Chaining method. The output of this research is an Expert System in the form of a Stand-Alone application that is built with the Visual Basic Programming Language, which can provide diagnostic results whether a person suffers from intestinal tuberculosis from the symptoms entered into the Expert System Interface.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a model and simulation of the efficiency of the use of the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang - XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road compared to the Pekanbaru - Padang national road. The newly built toll road is expected to reduce congestion and increase the efficiency of time and fuel. The research method used is a quantitative approach with modeling and simulation techniques to analyze travel time, speed, distance and fuel used. Data were collected directly by conducting comprehensive trials on the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang - XIII Koto Kampar Toll Road and the Padang - Pekanbaru National Road with an equivalent route. From the data that has been collected, modeling and simulation were carried out to see the level of efficiency of toll road use compared to national roads. The results of this study are expected to provide recommendations for users of the Pekanbaru - Bangkinang - XIII Kota toll road with the Pekanbaru - Padang National Road between the two which is the most efficient in terms of time and fuel consumption accurately.

Abstract

SIM issuance is carried out by the Polres traffic unit, including Satlantas Polres Kampar, which currently stilluses banners to convey information about the flow of SIM issuance. This problem can be overcome by making a websitebased Virtual Tour of the Flow of Making a Driver's License. This Virtual Tour was developed using the PHPprogramming language, CodeIgniter v3 framework, MySQL database, Apache, jQuery, and hardware in the form of InstaNano 360 cameras and iPhone cellphones, as well as software such as Adobe Photoshop. This research aims to facilitatethe public in finding information about the flow of making a driver's license since it can be accessed anytime andanywhere without having to come or ask directly to the location. The method used in this research is the Luther method,which consists of six stages: concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing, and distribution. The results ofthis study successfully created a Virtual Tour of the flow of making a driver's license that can be accessed through thewebsite, and serves as information that makes it easier for the public to find out the flow of making a driver's license atSatlantas Polres Kampar, with the results of user response reaching an average value of 90.15%.

Abstract

Digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial necessity for enhancing competitiveness and operational efficiency. However, many MSMEs still face various challenges in adopting digital technologies, particularly in marketing and operational management. This research aims to design and develop a digital business website for Ayam Geprek Mama as a case study in the implementation of technology-based systems. The methodology employed in this study is the Agile approach, which involves iterative phases of planning, development, testing, and implementation. The website is developed using PHP and MySQL for the backend, and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend. This system is designed to facilitate the ordering process, marketing, and business management through an online ordering feature integrated with WhatsApp, menu information, and a product management system. Evaluation results indicate that the implementation of this website can enhance marketing reach, expedite the ordering process, and improve operational efficiency. With this digital solution, Ayam Geprek Mama can become more competitive in the culinary industry.

Abstract

The process of recording children's development at Posyandu Bangkinang Kota is still carried out manually, by writing data on paper without an integrated system to store information and provide schedules for the next Posyandu session. This manual method leads to several issues, such as the risk of damage or loss of development record books due to being stacked with other documents, as well as parents' lack of awareness regarding the upcoming Posyandu schedule. To address these problems, this study develops a web-based Posyandu information system using the PHP programming language, the Laravel framework, and MySQL as the database. The system is designed using Unified Modeling Language (UML) to ensure efficiency in data management. The purpose of this system development is to assist staff in managing children's development information and data more quickly, effectively, and in an organized manner. The research results indicate that the developed information system has been successfully implemented and is capable of addressing issues related to recording and managing children's development data at Posyandu Bangkinang Kota.

Abstract

This study aims to cluster the welfare levels of oil palm farmers in Gading Sari Village, Tapung, using the K-Means Clustering algorithm. The analyzed variables include land area, family dependents, average monthly income, additional income, and educational attainment. Previous studies have extensively discussed the welfare of oil palm farmers. This research uses clustering methods to uncover new and more detailed findings about the welfare of oil palm farmers in rural areas. This approach offers a fresh perspective and can be utilized to support data-driven decision-making processes by the government. Data were collected through interviews with 111 oil palm farmers, processed through normalization, and analyzed using the elbow method to identify the optimal number of clusters. The results identified three main clusters: low, medium, and high welfare levels. Land area and average monthly income were the most significant differentiating factors among the clusters. This study's fundamental distinction lies in applying the K-Means algorithm to integrate the socioeconomic aspects of oil palm farmers into specific clusters. These clusters will provide new insights into their welfare conditions. The findings are expected to assist governments and stakeholders in designing more effective and targeted development programs for oil palm

Abstract

Lopek Bugi MSME in Kampar Regency, Riau, is one of the traditional regional food producers that faces challenges in raw material inventory management. The main problem is the imbalance between supply and demand, especially during periods of high demand, which often leads to raw material shortages and loss of sales potential. This study aims to optimize inventory management using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. A quantitative approach with case studies is used in this study, with data collected through direct observation, interviews, and historical documentation. The results of the study indicate that the EOQ method is able to determine the optimal order quantity that minimizes total inventory costs. In addition, this method helps in determining the reorder point (ROP) and safety stock to prevent stock shortages and anticipate demand fluctuations. This study provides practical benefits for Lopek Bugi MSME in managing its inventory efficiently and economically. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for the development of local government policies in supporting the optimization of MSME inventory management.

Abstract

Hasil belajar mahasiswa merupakan indikator utama dalam menilai kualitas pendidikan tinggi. Analisis akademik konvensional sering kali memiliki keterbatasan dalam mengidentifikasi pola tersembunyi dalam data akademik secara komprehensif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menerapkan metode data mining dengan algoritma K-Means Clustering untuk mengelompokkan mahasiswa berdasarkan capaian akademik mereka. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Teknik Informatika, Politeknik Kampar, dengan menganalisis variabel utama, yaitu nilai tugas, nilai ujian tengah semester (UTS), nilai ujian akhir semester (UAS), partisipasi, dan kehadiran. Metode K-Means Clustering digunakan untuk mengelompokkan mahasiswa ke dalam kategori berprestasi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah guna memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih mendalam mengenai pola akademik mereka. Hasil penelitian ini mampu mengidentifikasi kelompok mahasiswa secara optimal, sehingga dapat menjadi dasar dalam perancangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan sistem pemantauan akademik berbasis data mining, yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas evaluasi akademik serta kualitas pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani kelapa sawit di Desa Tanjung Rambutan, Kecamatan Kampar-Riau, mengenai Good Agriculture Practice (GAP). Pelaksanaan GAP sangat krusial dalam upaya peningkatan produktivitas, kualitas hasil panen, efisiensi biaya, serta keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi perkebunan kelapa sawit. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi interaktif dan pelatihan praktik langsung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman petani terhadap prinsip-prinsip GAP, seperti pemilihan bibit unggul, pemupukan berimbang, pengendalian hama dan penyakit terpadu, serta praktik panen yang tepat. Partisipasi aktif petani selama kegiatan mengindikasikan tingginya antusiasme dan kebutuhan akan informasi terkait praktik budidaya yang baik. Diharapkan, penerapan GAP secara konsisten dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kesejahteraan petani dan keberlanjutan industri kelapa sawit di wilayah Desa Tanjung Rambutan.
