Abstract

The COVID-19 affects all aspects of life, including Islamic boarding schools or pesantren. These institutions are having difficulty conducting online learning activities because they are not familiar with this method. This study aims to reveal Islamic boarding schools’ response toward the impact of COVID-19 in maintaining pesantren values at Pesantren Miftahul Ulum, Subang, West Java. The study utilized the descriptive qualitative method. The respondents of this study were teachers (ustadz), students (santri), and leaders (kyai). The data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and online searching.  The triangulation was employed as the data validity technique, and the data analysis technique used data reduction, data display, data verification, and conclusion. The result showed that pesantren responses in maintaining the pesantren values due to the impact of COVID-19 such as limiting the learning time in class, limiting the santri’s capacity per classroom, and limiting ustadz interaction with santri in the classroom. The learning process during the pandemic was carried out face-to-face and strictly adhered to the health protocol. The learning methods employed were sorogan, bandongan, and kempekan. Pesantren also internalizes morals to the students to guarantee the value.

Abstract

Various cases of bullying happened in the educational system in Indonesia, from the elementary to high school levels. The increasing number of school bullying cases poses a challenge for guidance counsellors in addressing them. Therefore, collaboration between guidance counsellors and other teachers is essential, particularly with Islamic education teachers who play a similar role in shaping students' characters. The objective of this research is to describe how collaboration takes shape between Islamic education teachers and guidance counsellors in handling bullying at SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan. This study is qualitative and employs a field research approach. Findings of the study indicate that collaboration between Islamic education teachers and guidance counsellors in addressing bullying cases at SMP Negeri 3 Kasihan is formal collaboration in the form of preventive and corrective programs. Preventive programs include: first, displaying anti-bullying posters in the school area; second, collecting gadgets/phones to prevent cyberbullying within the school; third, bringing in experts or practitioners from outside the school; fourth, organizing cultural events. As for corrective programs, they include: first, implementing individual approaches for both the perpetrators and victims of bullying (call centre); second, imposing sanctions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by student learning activities that do not use discussion learning models much in Islamic Jurisprudence subjects. This study aims to determine the importance of a learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) at Cikal Bimbel and analyze the effect of the Learning Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the activity and learning outcomes of Class A. Type of research using Mixed Method Research namely mixing Quantitative and Qualitative with design Sequential Explanatory Design where in this study it was preceded by quantitative research and then only complemented by qualitative research. The research sample was 44 students. Consisting of 22 Class A students who received the learning model treatment Numbered Head Together (NHT) and 22 Class B students with the conventional model. Data collection techniques using observation sheets and tests. The data analysis technique used was the Manova Test, which had previously passed the prerequisite tests, namely Normality and Homogeneity. Research results show that students who were given treatment in the form of a Learning Model Numbered Head Together (NHT) were more active compared to students who were not given treatment. The Manova Test of Activeness and Learning Outcomes shows a sig. 0.000 <0.05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on this, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the learning model Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the activity and learning outcomes of Class At Cikal Bimbel. These results indicate that: First, the NHT learning model can in fact be applied to subjects other than exact; Second, teachers get a lot of benefits from the NHT learning model because this model is something new for teachers at Cikal Bimbel, especially in Jurisprudence subjects; Third, the discussion learning model is the basis for active learning so that the teacher must be creative; Fourth, other variables that influence apart from the variables studied are factors from within students and infrastructure.

Abstract

It’s different from English course, an English practicum course is English for Specific Purpose. In the midwifery study program, an English practicum course is entitled English for Midwifery. This course specifically discusses skills of prospective midwives in handling patients.This research is a descriptive study with qualitative research method. Data were collected using questionnaire techniques and interviews. The number of respondents in semester II are 12 respondents and semester IV are 22 respondents. Data analysis used the triangulation method by comparing the questionnaire results, interview data and student achievements in the English for Midwifery course.The results of this study indicate that students who have practiced in the practice field will more easily absorb the material in the English practicum course entitled English for Midwifery. Practical experience in the field provides sufficient background knowledge for students to be more involved in the practical.Keywords: English for midwifery, practice field, background knowledge

Abstract

Al-Qur’an merupakan kitab suci umat Islam yang menjadi pedoman bagi kehidupan umat islam dan setiap umat islam memiliki  tanggung  jawab untuk mempelajari  Al-Qur’an. Dalam pelaksanaan  pembelajaran  tentunya  tidak lepas  dari peran  seorang  guru. Guru berperan sangat penting yaitu sebagai pelaku utama dalam mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Didalam pendidikan islam guru disebut sebagai ustadz, mu’alim, murabbiy yang artinya adalah orang yang memberikan ilmu pengetahun bertujuan untuk mencerdaskan peserta didik.   Penelitian   ini   bertujuan   untuk   mengetahui   bagaimana   peran   guru   Taman Pendidikan  Al-Qur’an  Siti  Aisyah  dalam  mengatasi  buta  aksara  Al-Qur’an  terhadap wanita  lanjut  usia.  Penelitian  ini  dilaksanakan  di  Taman  Pendidikan  Al-Qur’an  Siti Aisyah  Dusun  Mangir  dengan  menggunakan  metode  penelitian  kualitatif  deskriptif, subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pengelola TPA, ustadzah TPA, dan lima jama’ah ibu- ibu TPA. Pengumpulan  data dilakukan dengan tiga teknik yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan juga dokumentasi  untuk melengkapi  data yang diperoleh  melalui  wawancara  dan observasi.   Teknik   keabsahan   data   peneliti   menggunakan   triangulasi   sumber   dan triangulasi Teknik. Kemudian  untuk analisis data dilakukan  dengan  cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Melalui analisi data maka di dapatkan hasil penelitian mengenai Peran taman pendidikan Al-Qur’an Siti Aisyah dalam mengatasi buta aksara Al-Qur’an terhadap wanita lansia adalah: 1) Guru berperan sebagai pendidik. 2) berperan sebagai pengajar. 3) berperan sebagai pelatih. 4) berperan sebagai inovator. 5) berperan sebagai motivator.6) berperan sebagai fasilitator. 7) berperan sebagai evaluator. Penelitian serupa pernah dilakukan oleh Fikri Azra’I, Khaerul Yahya, Lia, Novi Hapsari, dkk yang membedakan adalah judul penelitian, objek penelitian dan fokus penelitian. Abstract

Student learning outcomes can be influenced by appropriate learning media, with this, researchers are developing e-book learning media which includes multimedia. The aim of this research is to find out how e-book products are developed, how appropriate the e-book products are developed and how the use of e-book products developed is influenced in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of moral beliefs.The method used is the Research and Development method with the ADDIE model. The research population was class XI students at MA Assalafiyyah Mlangi Yogyakarta. The experimental group and control group consisted of 49 students who were determined using a purposive sampling technique. The experimental study used quasi experimental research with a nonequivalent control group design.The results of the development were carried out by analyzing students' needs regarding learning media, creating product designs, product development using the Canva application with the help of Heyzine to create multimedia effects, product implementation for students, and product evaluation.Product feasibility results are demonstrated through validation by experts and student response questionnaires.  Material validation shows a figure of 77.7% (very feasible), media validation shows a figure 83,75% (very feasible), validation of test instruments shows a figure of 75% (feasible), questionnaire validation shows a figure of 75% (feasible) and student response questionnaire data shows a figure of 88.85% (very feasible). So that the e-book development product is declared feasible.The results of the research using the t test obtained a significance value of 0.042. So 0.042 < 0.05, which means that in this study there is a significant difference between classes that use e-book media and classes that do not use e-book media in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of moral beliefs.Keywords: e-book media, RnD, ADDIE, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Stunting merupakan sebuah masalah yang serius di Indonesia yang diakibatkan karena kurangnya asupan gizi pada anak, hal terserbut dapat berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan otak. Pemerintah selalu berupaya untuk menurunkan angka stunting, termasuk di Kelurahan Cabawan yang masih terdapat kasus stunting. Salah stau langkah yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi angka stunting adalah memanfaatkan daun kelor sebagai tambahan nutrisi pada makanan, karena daun kelor kaya akan nutrisi dan mudah didapatkan dimana saja. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di kantor Kelurahan Cabawan dan melibatkan 11 ibu kader posyandu. Metode yang digunakan yaitu edukasi mengani pemanfaatan dan kandungan daun kelor sebagai alternatif pencegahan stunting, serta demonstrasi pembuatan puding daun kelor. Sebelum dan sesudah dilakukannya edukasi, peserta mengisi kuesioner terkait materi yang diberikan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta, dengan 45% peserta memiliki pengetahuan baik sebelum edukasi dan meningkat menjadi 55% setelah diberikannya edukasi. Selama kegiatan, peserta terlihat antusias dan mengikuti acara dengan baik.
