Abstract

This study aims to find out the quality of the hadith of the recommendation to study until China that has been spread and popular among the public. In this research, the method of hadith research is used, which is preceded by takhrij hadith, I'tibar, and analysis in terms of sanad and matan. From the takhrij of the hadith used, this hadith can be found in the book of hadith by Imam Bayhaqi and many scholars of hadith have given assessments. After analyzing the sanad of the hadith, it is found that there is a defect in one of the narrators which makes the hadith a weak hadith.

Abstract

Maintaining the purity of the faith of the younger generation of Muslims is a shared responsibility, especially parents and teachers. In this modern era, the exchange of information is so easy to find without any restrictions. So re-teaching the holy Qur'an to the younger generation of Muslims is a solution. Where one third of the Qur'an conveys about faith. Among the verses of the Qur'an that talk about faith is the story of Lukman Al-Hakim's advice to his son in Surah Lukman. So this research is a qualitative study of literature on the book of tafsir As-Sa'di. In order to explore the meaning contained in Lukman's advice to his son. With the hope that it can be an inspiration for parents and teachers to concentrate more in instilling the values of true faith to the younger generation of Muslims. Abstract

Ta'limul Muta'allim is a book that is widely studied by knowledge seekers. In the book, Az-Zarnuji also included the Prophet's hadith as an amplification of his explanation. So this research was conducted to mentakhrij the traditions in chapters 1-3 in the book of Ta'limul Muta'allim by using the Takhrij bil Lafdzi method. After doing takhrij, it can be found that the hadith in chapter 1 is in Sunan Ibn Majah, the second chapter is in Sahih Bukhari and Shu'abul Iman, the third chapter hadith is in Sahih Bukhari. Abstract

This study examines the concept of persuasive reasoning (iqna‘i) in the Qur’an, focusing on the narrative of Prophet Ibrahim as interpreted in Tafsir Mafātiḥ al-Ghayb. As a form of deductive reasoning, iqna‘i logic strengthens faith and resilience in the face of trials. The study addresses the gap between the classical narratives of prophetic stories and their relevance to contemporary readers, emphasizing the importance of actualizing the timeless values inherent in these accounts. This study used a qualitative approach by analyzing tafsir, hadith, and related literature to examine the context and implications of Prophet Ibrahim’s use of iqna’i reasoning. His logical approach, characterized by unwavering obedience to Allah, trust in divine plans, steadfastness, courage, and monotheistic teachings, reinforced his faith and resilience during divine tests. This study contributes to understanding iqna’i logic within the Qur’anic framework by offering a concrete example through the story of Prophet Ibrahim. In conclusion, through an in-depth analysis of the story of the Prophet Ibrahim, this article has shown the relevance and actual application of the logic of iqna’i in everyday life, enriching Islamic understanding and inspiring readers to face challenges more confidently.

Abstract

This article explores the application of the theories of al-Inâyah (Providence) and al-Ikhtirâ’ (Creation) as a Quranic approach. The analysis is based on Ibn Rushd’s Manâhij al-Adillah fî Aqâ’id al-Millah, highlighting how he integrates Greek philosophy with Islam to explain God as the First Cause and the Organizer of the universe. The method used is library research with a content analysis approach. The results show that Ibn Rushd views the order of the universe as a manifestation of God's will, where creation itself serves as evidence of a Creator with a divine purpose. The theories of al-Inâyah and al-Ikhtirâ’ are employed to argue that the universe’s order and complexity are the results of divine intention, in line with Quranic teachings about God as Creator and Organizer. This study finds that Ibn Rushd combines Aristotelian philosophy with Quranic teachings to provide a more comprehensive understanding of God. Using both reason and revelation, he portrays God as an essence that transcends the physical realm. The findings contribute to a deeper understanding on Islamic theology by showing the compatibility between rational inquiry and divine revelation. This study also demonstrates Ibn Rushd’s significant influence on both Islamic and Western philosophical traditions, reflecting a profound integration of philosophy and theology in conceptualizing the divine.

Abstract

Syuhudi Ismail is an Indonesian hadith scholar who has a new concept in understanding hadith, namely by contextualizing hadith and characterizing hadith with temporal, local and universal. In this study, the concept of contextualization of hadith of Syuhudi Ismail is reviewed hermeneutically from Gadamer's hermeneutic theory. The purpose of this research is to find out Syuhudi Ismail's concept in contextualizing hadith and to review it with Gadamer's hermeneutic theory. This study uses library research method by referring to books by Syuhudi Ismail especially Syuhudi Ismail's book entitled Textual and Contextual Hadith and scientific articles that discuss the work of Syuhudi Ismail in contextualizing hadith as well as scientific articles about Gadamer's hermeneutics and examples of its application. In Gadamer's hermeneutics there are aspects that need to be considered and these aspects are reviewed from the contextual interpretation of Syuhudi Ismail's hadith so that both involve socio-historical, contextual aspects and fuse the two so as to give birth to a relatve new meaning. As in the interpretation of the Hadith about the threat to painters, Syuhudi Ismail interprets the Hadith by presenting the socio-historical aspect which is used as the 'illat of the Hadith which if the 'illat of this Hadith is lost, it will affect the meaning of the Hadith.

Abstract

This community service activity was conducted at Yayasan Lansia Bahagia Sejahtera, which hosts the Healthy Food community, consisting mostly of elderly members. The training aimed to teach participants how to cook healthy gluten-free noodles as an effort to promote better health. The activity was carried out through several stages, beginning with participant registration and the distribution of recipes, followed by an explanation of the theory and ingredients used. The session then continued with hands-on practice, accompanied by a question-and-answer session to ensure that participants could understand each step of the cooking process. An evaluation process was also conducted after the training by assessing the participants’ practical results at home.
