Abstract

Abstrak: Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bahwa terdapat sekelompok manusia yang meneliti hadis Nabi dan berbeda pandangan terhadap mayoritas ulama hadis terkait hadis Nabi, di antara mereka ada yang berpandangan bahwa sunnah atau hadis sesungguhnya sebagian besar hadis tidak sahih, dia meragukan keaslian hadis sebagai sabda Nabi Muhammad sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam, menurutnya hadis lebih hanya merupakan hasil dari interaksi berbagai aliran dan kencenderungan yang muncul balakangan di kalangan masyarakat Islam pada periode kematangannya. Mereka meneliti hadis disebabkan beberapa faktor dan tujuan di antaranya adalah agama, dan telah datang ulama'pada masa ini yaitu al-Siba’iy yang membantah beberapa argumen yang dinyatakan oleh orientalis. Kata kunci: Orientalis, Hadis, Siba'iy Abstract: This paper aims to explain that there is a group of people who examine the traditions of the Prophet and differing views on the majority of scholars related to the traditions of the Prophet's traditions, among them who are of the view that the Sunnah or the traditions are actually most of the traditions are invalid, he doubts the authenticity of the traditions as the words of the Prophet Muhammad sallallahu 'Alayhi wa sallam, according to him, the hadith is only a result of the interaction of various streams and trends that appear lately among the Islamic community in its maturity period. They examined the hadith due to several factors and objectives including religion, and the cleric had arrived at this time namely al-Siba'iy who disputed some of the arguments expressed by the Orientalists. Abstract

Muhammadiyah merupakan salah satu kelompok gerakan Islam besar di Indonesia, oleh karena itu sangat dibutuhkan sekali pengetahuan umat Islam tentang kelompok ini. Dalam Islam hadis merupakan sumber utama agama setelah al-Qur’an karena pentingnya kedudukan hadis dalam Islam, maka sangat penting sekali kita memahami pemahaman kelompok Muhammadiyah terhadap hadis. Metode yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam mengkaji pemahaman Muhammadiyah terhadap hadis adalah dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan cara mengumpulkan data-data berupa teks-teks yang ada kemudian ditelaah untuk mendapatkan pemahaman dari teks tersebut atau dapat disebut dengan content analisys. Penelitian yang penulis dapatkan Muhammadiyah sangat memperhatikan kesahihan sebuah hadis sebagai rujukan dalam bersyariat terutama kritik dalam sanad hadis, dalam bidang Akidah Muhammadiyah hanya menerima hadis mutawatir, namun dalam beberapa hal juga terdapat perbedaan dalam penerapannya.

Abstract

Hadis merupakan komponen penting dalam beragama karena hadis adalah sumber hukum Islam yang kedua setelah A l-Qur’an.Oleh karena hadis mempunyai kedudukan yang tinggi di Islam maka penulis ingin meneliti bagaimana kajian hadis semenjak zaman Rasulullah sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam hingga sekarang ini khususnya di Indonesia. Di Indonesia Pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga keagamaan mempunyai peren penting dalam maju mundurnya kajian hadis di Indonesia. Tujuan penulis adalah mengetahui sejarah perkembangan hadis mulai zaman Rasululullah hingga pada masa sekarang ini. Penelitian ini merupkan jenis penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan menggunakan metode content analyst dalam mengolah informasi yang telah diperoleh. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan cara wawancara kepada beberapa pengurus pesantren. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kajian hadis sudah ada semenjak Rasulullah sallalahu ‘alayhi wa sallam hidup, para sahabat juga melakukan kajian atau pembelajaran hadis demikian juga para tabi’in di madrasah-madrasah hadis yang berada di wilayah yang telah ditaklukkan. Kajian hadis terus berkembang pesat seiring pesatnya wilayah-wilayah yang ditaklukkan oleh Islam, kemudian pada masa khalifah ‘Umar ibn ‘Abd al-Aziz mulailah dibukukan hadis yang dapat digunakan sebagai sarana dalam mengkaji hadis, muncul kitab Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim, Sunan al-Arba’ah dan lain sebagainya. Di Indonesia kajian hadis juga muncul seiring masuknya Islam di Indonesia pada abad 17, kajian hadis terus berjalan hingga sekarang dan pondok pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan keagamaan mempunyai perananan penting dalam keteberlangsungan kajian hadis di Indonesi. Di antara kitab-kitab Hadis yang dikaji di pesantren di Indoensia adalah Bulugh al-Maram, Hadith al-Arba’in al-Nawawiyyah, Sahih al-Bukhari dan lain sebagainya.

Abstract

Hadith merupakan komponen penting dalam beragama karena Hadith merupakan sumber hukum Islam yang kedua setelah Al-Qur’an. Oleh karena Hadith mempunyai kedudukan yang tinggi di Islam. Di samping itu di dunia Barat ternyata didapati banyak pandangan-pandangan tentang Hadith dan Sunnah, hal inilah yang menjadi landasan penulis dalam meneliti apa dan bagaimana pandangan ulama Islam dan juga pandangan para orientalis Barat dalam memahami makna Hadth dan Sunnah. Tujuan dilakukannya tinjauan ini adalah untuk memahami hakikat makna dari Hadith dan Sunnah sehingga umat Islam tidak terjerumus pada pemaknaan yang salah. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pustaka (library research) dengan menggunakan metode content analyst (analisa teks) dalam mengolah informasi yang telah diperoleh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Hadith menurut para ulama dalam Islam berarti segala ucapan, perbuatan, ketetapan serta sifat Nabi Muhammad s}allalla>hu ‘alaihi wa sallam. Akan tetapi di kalangan Orientalis mereka mendefinisikan hadith dan sunnah berbeda dengan apa yang dipahami oleh kaum Muslimin, sebagaimana yang diungkapkan oleh Joseph Schacht bahwasanya Sunnah hanyalah sebagai konsepsi Arab kuno yang berlaku kembali sebagai salah satu pusat pemikiran dalam Islam. Joseph Schacht menilai bahwa Sunnah lebih berarti pada praktik ideal dari komunitas setempat. Konsep Islam tentang kehidupan dipandangnya hanya sebagai sebuah pelestarian adat istiadat tradisi masyarakat Arab pra-Islam, yang bercitikan dengan profane dan magis.

Abstract

The research in this thesis examined analytically the repetition of the verse fabiayyi 'al????ā'i rabbikumā tukażżibān in al-Raḥmān chapter. This verse is unique and special, which is repeated 31 times which made the reader thought about the repetition. Because of that the researcher wanted to study it to find out the intended meaning of the repetition of the verse. The researcher focused on the problems, namely, first about M. Quraish Shihab's interpretation of the repetition of the verse of fabiayyi 'al????ā'i rabbikumā tukadhdhibān in al-Raḥmān chapter in Tafsir Al-Mishbah. Second, about the wisdom behind the repetition of the verse of fabiayyi 'al????ā'i rabbikumā tukadhdhibān in al-Raḥmān chapter. The research method in this research is library research. The discussion in this study is descriptive-analytical, the researcher described the definitions, functions, types, and rules. In addition, the researcher explained the biography of Muhammad Quraish Shihab and his commentary. After that, the researcher conducted an analysis of the repetition of the fabiayyi 'al????ā'i rabbikumā tukażżibān in al-Raḥmān chapter using the perspective of Tafsir Al-Mishbah. The researcher found that the repetition of the verse fabiayyi 'al????ā'i rabbikumā tukadhdhibān in al-Raḥmān chapter according to Muhammad Quraish Shihab explained about the generosity of Allah SWT to His servants in giving favors, which aims as an affirmation to remind them of all the blessings that have been given to them God gave. The wisdom of repeating that verse is so that we are grateful for the favors that God has given us.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the dimension of sincerity (sincerity) in deeds according to the Qur'an and Sunnah, emphasizing the purity of intention, consistency in doing good, and independence from human praise. This study uses a qualitative method with textual analysis of relevant Qur'anic verses and hadiths. The findings show that sincerity encompasses relationships with both Allah and fellow humans, manifested through the concept of tawakkal (reliance on Allah) and fairness in social interactions. Sincerity in human relations creates an environment full of mutual understanding and compassion. In Islam, sincerity, derived from the Arabic word "khalasa" meaning purification, is about performing worship solely for Allah without seeking human praise. In the Qur'an, sincerity encompasses choice, purity from flaws, exclusivity, and the oneness of Allah. Sincerity is a prerequisite for the acceptance of deeds, prayers, and repentance, and it brings great benefits such as the acceptance of deeds, great rewards, and protection from satanic interference. Hadiths from Umar ibn al-Khattab, Abu Hurairah, and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri emphasize the importance of pure intentions. Sincerity helps in forming honest character, enhancing the quality of worship, social harmony, spiritual resilience, and work ethic. Understanding and applying sincerity supports individuals and communities to be responsible and have high integrity, hence the need to intensify education on sincerity for broad positive impacts.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of persuasive reasoning (iqna‘i) in the Qur’an, focusing on the narrative of Prophet Ibrahim as interpreted in Tafsir Mafātiḥ al-Ghayb. As a form of deductive reasoning, iqna‘i logic strengthens faith and resilience in the face of trials. The study addresses the gap between the classical narratives of prophetic stories and their relevance to contemporary readers, emphasizing the importance of actualizing the timeless values inherent in these accounts. This study used a qualitative approach by analyzing tafsir, hadith, and related literature to examine the context and implications of Prophet Ibrahim’s use of iqna’i reasoning. His logical approach, characterized by unwavering obedience to Allah, trust in divine plans, steadfastness, courage, and monotheistic teachings, reinforced his faith and resilience during divine tests. This study contributes to understanding iqna’i logic within the Qur’anic framework by offering a concrete example through the story of Prophet Ibrahim. In conclusion, through an in-depth analysis of the story of the Prophet Ibrahim, this article has shown the relevance and actual application of the logic of iqna’i in everyday life, enriching Islamic understanding and inspiring readers to face challenges more confidently.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Manhaji Method in improving the ability to read Kitab Kuning (classical Islamic texts) at Darun Nuhat Islamic Boarding School, Petiyin-Solokuro, Lamongan. Kitab Kuning serves as the primary literature in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) but often poses challenges for students due to limited understanding of Nahwu (Arabic grammar) and Sharaf (morphology). The Manhaji Method, systematically designed, offers a practical approach to studying Kitab Kuning through structured, tiered learning from basic to advanced levels. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, document studies, and reading ability tests. Data were collected from various sources such as pesantren leaders, teachers, and students through interviews and direct observation of the learning process. The study's results show that the implementation of the Manhaji Method significantly enhances students' understanding of Kitab Kuning, particularly in the aspects of Nahwu and Sharaf. Students demonstrated improved abilities in recognizing sentence structures, understanding word transformations, and applying grammatical rules effectively. This success is supported by competent teachers employing simple and systematic approaches, a well-structured, tiered curriculum from basic to advanced levels, and a conducive learning environment. The pesantren atmosphere, adequate facilities, and the collective enthusiasm of students created an optimal learning ecosystem. The efficiency of the Manhaji Method also increased students’ motivation through a structured and practical tiered learning process. This study recommends that the Manhaji Method be more widely adopted in other pesantren while considering local contexts. A broader application of this method is expected to support sustainable pesantren education, improve the quality of Kitab Kuning instruction, and strengthen the Islamic scholarly tradition in various educational institutions.Keywords: Manhaji Method; Kitab Kuning; Pesantren; Nahwu; Sharaf.

Abstract

This research examines the term jihad from Wahbah al-Zuhayli's perspective in Tafsīr al-Munīr focusing on Al-Qur’ān Sūrah al-‘Ankabūt [29]: 69. The main background explains the problem of jihad in the modern era in dimensions of the school that reflect the interests of power with acts of radicalism and terrorism. This concept is closed, because it still uses the definition of jihad in the era of the Prophet Muhammad. who tend to prioritize physical attitude. Meanwhile, Tafsīr al-Munīr occupies the most appropriate position for taking formal objects, of course due to the theoretical and practical nature of interpreting the verses of the Qur'an. So this research formulates the problem of how the term of jihad is in the Al-Qur'an and Tafsīr al-Munīr's perspective on the term of jihad. The results of this research are divided into two conclusions. First, the term of jihad in the Koran is divided into the Makkiyah and Madaniyah periods. Jihad in the Makkiyah period emphasized self-defense through a persuasive attitude. Meanwhile, jihad in the Madaniyah period emphasized self-defense through physical behavior. Second, the internalization of faith in the oneness of God, the implications of human spiritual attitudes, and human rūḥiyyah behavior, are all concepts of jihad in the perspective of Tafsīr al-Munīr which focuses on the study of Al-Qur’ān Sūrah al-‘Ankabūt [29]: 69.
