Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan peneliti berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada di SDN Romang Polong. Rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik membuat peneliti berinisiatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PJBL) berbantuan media Augmented Reality. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari proses perancangan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. PTK yang dilakukan di kelas sebanyak 2 siklus. Siklus I dilaksanakan tanggal 14 Agustus 2023 dan siklus II dilaksanakan tanggal 21 Agustus 2023. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas IV B SDN Romang Polong, dengan jumlah subjek 28 siswa. Hasil dari penelitin menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode belajar PJBL berbantuan Media AR ini dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS pada peserta didik kelas IVB SDN Romang Polong. Hasil tes pada siklus I dan II menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan nilai rata rata dan presentase ketuntasan klasikal. Pada saat pra siklus, nilai rata rata siswa 60 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 35% (10 siswa). Kemudian Siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa ialah 75 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 53% (15 Siswa) mendapat nilai 75. Lalu pada siklus II, nilai rata-ratanya ialah 85 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 82% (23 siswa). Dengan demikian, berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan PTK dengan model PJBL di kelas IVB SDN Romang Polong dinyatakan berhasil.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Spindle Boxes Media with the Montessori Method on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years at Telkom Kindergarten Makassar. This research approach used is quantitative with the type of Quasi Exprimental Design Research. Sampling in this study were 20 people, 10 children in the experimental group, 10 children as a control group. Data collection techniques in this study are documentation, tests and observations. The data analysis technique in this consists of descriptive statistical test data and non-parametric analysis using the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test research, the sig value was obtained. (2-tailed) 0.005 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely there is a difference in the average level of ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years at Telkom Kindergarten Makassar. The data from the descriptive statistical test can prove the research hypothesis that has been formulated if there is an average difference in the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, namely there is an effect of using Spindle Boxes media with the Montessori method on the ability to recognize the concept of numbers of children aged 4-5 years at Telkom Kindergarten Makassar.

Abstract

Abstrak Bullying merupakan permasalahan serius di lingkungan sekolah yang dapat berdampak pada kesehatan mental, sosial, dan akademik anak. Fenomena ini memerlukan perhatian khusus untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan inklusif. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman mengenai bullying serta mendorong implementasi kebijakan anti-bullying di sekolah. Mitra dalam kegiatan ini adalah salah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Makassar dengan melibatkan siswa kelas 4-6, guru, dan tenaga kependidikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini meliputi edukasi, workshop interaktif, serta pendampingan dalam penyusunan kebijakan anti-bullying. Sebanyak 30 siswa, 18 guru, dan 5 tenaga kependidikan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan, dengan skor rata-rata pre-test siswa sebesar 58 meningkat menjadi 84 setelah kegiatan. Peningkatan juga terlihat pada guru dan tenaga kependidikan dengan kenaikan masing-masing sebesar 35,4% dan 37,1%. Program ini telah menciptakan perubahan nyata dalam sikap dan perilaku terhadap bullying, serta menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan berbasis komunitas dalam membangun lingkungan belajar yang bebas dari perundungan. Hasil pengabdian ini dapat menjadi model bagi sekolah lain dalam menerapkan kebijakan anti-bullying secara efektif. Kata kunci: bullying; inklusif; kebijakan; pendidikan; sekolah dasar Abstract Bullying is a serious issue in the school environment that can affect children's mental, social, and academic well-being. This phenomenon requires special attention to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. This community engagement program aims to raise awareness and understanding of bullying and promote the implementation of anti-bullying policies in schools. The partner in this activity is an elementary school in Makassar City, involving students in grades 4-6, teachers, and educational staff. The methods used in this program include education, interactive workshops, and assistance in developing anti-bullying policies. A total of 30 students, 18 teachers, and 5 educational staff participated in this activity. The results showed a significant increase in understanding, with the students' average pre-test score of 58 rising to 84 after the program. Improvements were also observed among teachers and educational staff, with increases of 35.4% and 37.1%, respectively. This program has successfully fostered tangible changes in attitudes and behaviors toward bullying, highlighting the importance of a community-based approach in creating a bullying-free learning environment. The findings of this program can serve as a model for other schools in effectively implementing anti-bullying policies.  Keywords: anti-bullying; education; inclusive; policy; primary school

Abstract

General Background: Kalilingseng Cave, a former Dutch-era manganese mine in Kulon Progo, has untapped potential for educational and cultural tourism. Specific Background: Despite its historical and aesthetic value, the cave remains underdeveloped as a tourist site, lacking comprehensive economic valuation. Knowledge Gap: Prior research has not addressed the cave's economic potential as a tourism destination, leaving a gap in understanding its full value. Aims: This study aims to evaluate the tourism potential of Kalilingseng Cave using SWOT analysis and estimate its economic value through the Travel Cost Method (TCM). Results: The SWOT analysis highlights the cave’s accessibility and proximity to public facilities. TCM results show an average WTP of IDR 67,000.00, with annual economic benefits of IDR 21,775,000.00. Novelty: This research uniquely integrates SWOT and TCM to assess the tourism potential of an abandoned mining site. Implications: Proper development could make Kalilingseng Cave a sustainable tourist destination, benefiting the local economy and supporting geotourism education. Highlights: Tourism Potential: Kalilingseng Cave's historical and aesthetic value positions it as an educational and geotourism destination. Economic Valuation: The Travel Cost Method reveals an annual benefit of IDR 21,775,000.00 from visitors, indicating potential for community development.
