Abstract

From a preliminary study conducted on 10 private junior high school students in Denpasar, data were obtained that 40% of students experienced complaints of dizziness, 50% glare and 10% sore eyes. In addition, students' musculoskeletal complaints were caused by the size of the chairs and study desks not in accordance with the student's anthropometry and as a result of a monotonous environmental condition, causing less stimulus or stimulation to affect student concentration during learning. With the above background, a research was conducted with The same-subject design involved 26 students with an age range of 13-15 years. The study was conducted for 3 days in a row, namely on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by measuring the anthropometry of the student's body using a super brand anthropometer 686, musculoskeletal complaints with the Nordic Body Map before and after repairs were made. Data were analyzed using paired t-test at the significance level of p=0.005. The results showed that the mean of musculoskeletal complaints before successive improvement was 27.44 ± 0.27; 26.94 ± 0.61 and 27.00 ± 0.55. An unnatural learning attitude caused by the chair being not high enough, an additional 2 cm of chair was made to compensate for the height of the table which had been adjusted to the popliteal height and elbow height in the sitting position. By making improvements to the chair can reduce musculoskeletal complaints by 42, 14%. From the research, it can be concluded that repairing tables and chairs can reduce students' musculoskeletal complaints and it is suggested that the layout of these improvements will be used in the future for students with an age range of 13-15 years.

Abstract

Pemeriksaan hematologi adalah pemeriksaan cairan darah yang berhubungan dengan sel darah dan biokimia yang berhubungan dengan sel darah. Selama pemeriksaan, sering dijumpai gumpalan darah karena darah mengandung koagulan. Untuk menghindari hal tersebut, darah harus dicampur dengan antikoagulan (antikoagulan) dan proses pencampurannya dibantu dengan alat laboratorium yaitu blood roller mixer. Blood roller mixer adalah alat yang digunakan untuk mengocok sampel darah yang berada di dalam venoject yang telah diberi anti koagulan sebagai zat yang dapat mencegah penggumpalan darah, agar mendapatkan darah dalam keadaan homogen. Alat ini dirancang dengan pengaturan kecepatan dan waktu digital, diharapkan kesalahan pembacaan kecepatan dan waktu dapat diminimalkan dan lebih mudah digunakan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif eksploratif, pengolahan data kecepatan dan waktu menggunakan SPSS dengan uji Wilcoxon. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan dengan mem-bandingkan kecepatan dengan tachometer dan waktu dengan stopwatch, hasil dari kedua parameter tersebut tidak berbeda signifikan dengan nilai uji perbandingan pada masing-masing setting yang tidak melebihi nilai 0,05. A hematological test examines blood fluids and biochemistry associated with blood cells. Blood clots are frequently seen during examinations with blood cells. To avoid this, blood must be combined with an anticoagulant and assisted in the mixing process by laboratory equipment, namely a blood roller mixer. A blood roller mixer is an equipment used to shake blood samples in a venoject that has been treated with an anti-coagulant to avoid blood clots, in order to get homogeneous blood. This tool is created with digital speed and time options, with the goal of reducing mistakes and it easier to use. This study employed a descriptive exploratory strategy with, SPSS and the Wilcoxon test to process data in terms of speed and time. According to the findings of the analysis, wichh involved comparing speed with a tachometer and time with a stop-watch, the results of the two parameters are not significantly different from the comparison test values in each setting which do not exceed the value of 0.05.

Abstract

Background : The bleaching process on the ibung to get a brighter color requires a hydrogen peroxide dyeing process. In this process, artisans are directly exposed to hydrogen peroxide vapor. The duration of exposure to hydrogen peroxide results in respiratory disturbances that affect the peak expiratory flow. Objective : This study aims to determine the relationship between the length of exposure and the duration of exposure in ibung craftsmen Research Methods/ Implementation Methods: This research is a type of quantitative research with an observational analytical method. The design of this study uses a cross-sectional approach with a sample of 50 people who meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Peak Flow Meter instrument is used to assess the peak current of expiratory flow of the ibung craftsman against hydrogen peroxide exposure. Statistical analysis was carried out using descriptive and chi-square tests Results : Based on the chi-square test, the results were obtained on the meaningful relationship between the length of work and the peak flow of expiration with the value of p = 0.000 and a meaningful relationship was found between the duration of work and the peak flow of expiration with the value of p = 0.043 Conclusion/Lesson Learned : There is a relationship between exposure to hydrogen peroxide to the peak expiratory current in Ibung craftsmen, so it is expected that Ibung craftsmen use PPE (personal protect equipment when working to reduce exposure to hydrogen peroxide
