Abstract

ABSTRACTThe basic techniques of volleyball used to use muscular group in our body, especially the leg’s muscles that is facilitating the springboard movement. Explosive power is the ability of muscles to exert maximum force in a very quick time. Leg muscle explosive power is one of the essential components required in the sport of volleyball particular in the motion of smash, passing and blocking hat needs to be improved by training plyometrics. The training that were conducted during this research are the plyometric depth jump and plyometric box jump training using the principle of progressive load with 3 times frequencies a week within 6 weeks. The aim of this study is to compare the explosive power of training leg muscle. This study use a randomized experimental design with pre test and post test group design for six weeks with 3 times frequencies a week. The sample’s numbers is 32 participants that was divided into two groups. The first group was given training in plyometrics depth jump and the second group was given training plyometrics box jump. The explosive power of leg muscle is measured by using a jump DF which measured before and after training for each groups. The result of this research is shown before training in group I is 42.25 ± 3.92 cm and 51.81 ± 4.41cm after training (p <0.05). While, in group II the mean shows 40.25 ± 5.14 cm before training and 45.25 ± 5.07 cm after training (p <0.05). Training in group I can increase explosive power leg muscle than group II (p <0.05). Based on the result, it is concluded that the plyometric depth jump training is more better than the plyometric box jump training in increasing explosive power leg muscle for the students of volley ball extracurricular at SMK Negeri 1 Petang.Keywords: plyometrics depth jump training and box jump, explosive power leg muscle, sports volleyball.

Abstract

Physical training is useful so that the body does not quickly experience excessive fatigue during strenuous physical activity, prevents degenerative diseases and improves health status. Physical training has an important role to maintain and improve the degree of physical fitness during this COVID-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the Senam 2004 SKJ gymnastics training can improve physical fitness. This type of research is experimental with the randomized pretest posttest control group design. The sample of this study was 20 students of the Physiotherapy Study Program divided into 2 groups. Group 1 was given SKJ 2004 gymnastics training and Group 2 as a control group, with a frequency of exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. The component of physical fitness in this case is VO2Max measured by the Bleeps Test (MFT) instrument. The results of the study on age, height, weight and BMI were analyzed descriptively in both groups. Test the normality of the data using the Shapiro-Wilk Test and test the homogeneity of the data using the Levene Test. Intra-group differences in the mean of VO2Max were tested by paired t-test. The results of the different test with t-paired before and after training, the results obtained in Group 1 and Group 2 were significantly different (p <0.05). The results of the VO2Max test between the two groups before and after the training were tested using the t-independent sample test. The average VO2Max in both groups before training with p value = 0.27 (p>0.05) and after training with p value = 0.00 (p<0.05). In Group 1, the average VO2Max (L/m) before training was 26.45 and the average after training was 38.54 with a difference of 12.09 and a percentage increase of 45.70%. Meanwhile in Group 2, the average VO2Max before training was 25.51 and the average after training was 27.52 with a difference of 2.06 and the percentage increase was 8.07%. This shows that the treatment of group 1 and group 2 both gave a change effect. However, the improvement in group 1 was better than group 2. It was concluded that SKJ gymnastics training can improve physical fitness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing sepakbola melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas XI IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1 Petang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1 Petang, yang berjumlah 33 orang terdiri dari 20 orang putra dan 13 orang putri. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata aktivitas belajar passing sepakbola secara klasikal pada observasi awal 6,0 (cukup aktif), meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 7,5 (aktif), dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 8,4 (aktif). Sedangkan hasil belajar secara klasikal pada observasi awal 66,3 (kurang), meningkat pada siklus I menjadi 75,2 (baik), dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 81,2 (baik). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing sepakbola meningkat melalui implementasi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD pada siswa kelas XI IPS.2 SMA Negeri 1 Petang tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Disarankan kepada guru penjasorkes SMA Negeri 1 Petang untuk mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar passing sepakbola siswa.Kata Kunci : Kata-kata kunci: Kooperatif tipe STAD, aktivitas belajar, hasil belajar, passing sepakbola. This research aims to improve the activity and the result study of passing foot ball through the implementation of type of cooperative model STAD to XI IPS.2 grade students of SMA N 1 Petang, in which the population are 33 students, 20 male students and 13 female students. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistic. Based on this research, from the first observation the mean of activity of passing football in classical way is 6,0 (enough active) the improvement in cycle I is 7,5 (active) and in the cycle II to be 8,4 (active). Whereas the result in the classical from the first observation is 66,3 (poor), it improves in cycle I to be 75, 2 (good) and in cycle II, the improvement is 81, 2 (good). Based on the data analysis and the explanation above, it can be conclude that the activity and the result study of passing foot ball are improved through the implementation of type of cooperative study that is STAD in XI IPS.2 grade students of SMA N 1 Petang in academic year 2013/2014. The suggestion to the teacher who teach sport in SMA N 1 Petang is to implement the type of cooperative model STAD to improve the activity and the result study of students in passing foot ball.keyword : Key words: The type of cooperative model STAD, Activity study, Result study, passing foot ball

Abstract

Inkontinensia urin tipe stress merupakan masalah kesehatan yang sangat sering terjadi pada wanita dan jarang dikeluhkan karena dianggap sesuatu yang biasa sehingga tidak perlu diobati. Inkontinensia urin tipe stress adalah masalah umum pada wanita dengan tingkat prevalensi mulai dari 10% hingga lebih dari 40%. Terjadinya inkontinensia urin tipe stress pada wanita usia 45-60 tahun ini dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor salah satunya adalah komposisi tubuh atau indeks massa tubuh. Kondisi indeks massa tubuh yang berat dan berlebihan akan menyebabkan penekanan pada kandung kemih, sehingga mengakibatkan kandung kemih lebih mudah mengalami pengeluaran urin secara tidak sengaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan indeks massa tubuh terhadap inkontinensia urin tipe stres pada wanita usia 45-60 tahun. Penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional study. Teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling dengan bentuk purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan di RSUD Bangli pada bulan Juni-Juli 2021. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 orang. Massa tubuh diukur dengan IMT dan inkontinensia urin diukur dengan RUIS (The Revised Urinary Incontinence Scale). Berdasarkan uji sommer’d didapatkan nilai p=0,001 (p0,05) yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara indeks massa tubuh terhadap inkontinensia urin tipe stress wanita usia 45-60 tahun.

Abstract

Lansia adalah tahapan yang pasti dijalani oleh setiap individu. Penurunan daya tahan kardiorespirasi merupakan salah satu penurunan fungsional tubuh yang terjadi seiring meningkatnya usia. Aktivitas fisik yang dijalankan merupakan penentu derajat daya tahan kardiorespirasi dari lansia. Aktivitas fisik mudah yang sesuai dengan lansia salah satunya yaitu senam aerobic low impact.  Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari senam lansia terhadap peningkatan daya tahan kardiorespirasi pada lansia di Banjar Budaireng Desa Batubulan Kangin. Pre and post-test control group design merupakan rancangan dari penelitian ini dan penelitian dilaksanakan bulan April-Mei 2022. Populasi lansia di Banjar Budaireng Desa Batubulan Kangin yang menepati kriteria inklusi serta eksklusi yaitu sebanyak 32 responden akan dijadikan sampel penelitian. Dari keseluruhan total sampel selanjutnya dibagi menjadi kelompok I yang diberikan perlakuan serta kelompok kontrol atau kelompok II yang dimana masing-masing terdiri dari 16 responden. Six minute walking test merupakan instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai daya tahan kardiorespirasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kelompok perlakuan dengan senam lansia lebih efektif meningkatkan daya tahan kardiorespirasi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol dengan p 0,000 (p<0,05). Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh bermakna dari senam lansia terhadap meningkatnya daya tahan kardiorespirasi pada lansia di Banjar Budaireng Desa Batubulan Kangin.

Abstract

Football is a group sport that is popular all over the world that has a high risk of falling and impacting so that it can cause injury. To avoid this, a medical team must be prepared such as doctors and physiotherapists, either prepared by the team or provided by the match organizer. Basically Physiotherapy aims to develop, maintain and restore movement and bodily function through manual manipulation, motion enhancement, functional exercises and communication at individuals and groups. This activity aims to provide the first treatment for injuries suffered by football athletes who compete in the Bima Nata Cup activities, especially in providing physiotherapy services for acute injuries. The methods used in accordance with the physiotherapy care system start from inputs: namely athletes who have suffered injuries, process: examination of athletes followed by the preparation of interventions according to the injuries experienced, outputs: athlete's recovery and outcomes: the athlete's satisfaction with the servants provided. The results of the services performed on the 15 football clubs that compete physiotherapists can help and provide treatment to athletes who have suffered injuries while competing. Based on the number of injury cases, the most cases of injuries to the ankle were 33%, injuries to the knee were 25%, injuries to the hamstring were 20%, injuries to the shoulder were 8%, injuries to the wrist were 8% and injuries to the wrist were 6%. The process carried out is in the form of a physiotherapy process which includes assessment, diagnosis, intervention and evaluation. Physiotherapy interventions carried out using the RICE method and the use of physiotherapy modalities in the form of exercise therapy. It can be concluded that there were 36 athletes who suffered injuries. And it can illustrate that the need for physiotherapy services in a football.

Abstract

Balance refers to the body's ability to maintain balance while adjusting to gravity, the ground, and other objects in its environment. Balance disorders can reduce the quality of life and reduce the independence of the elderly. Elderly people with balance disorders are at higher risk of falling, which can result in a variety of traumas, including broken bones, serious injuries, and even death. This activity aims to examine and provide education to the elderly regarding balance and various kinds of risks caused by balance disorders as well as preventive measures that can be carried out in the form of balance exercises. The method used in this activity is divided into several stages, namely the licensing and audience stages with the elderly, then the implementation stage of the activity by carrying out a balance check using the Fukuda step test. The next stage is to provide education about balance and preventive measures that can be taken to prevent balance disorders. The output of this activity is an increase in the quality of life of the elderly, while the outcome is the satisfaction of the elderly with the services provided. The results of this community service activity were the number of elderly who participated in the activity as many as 26 people with details of men totaling 8 (30.8%) people, while women totaling 18 (69.2%) people. There were 17 (65.4%) elderly who experienced balance disorders and 9 (34.6%) people with good balance. Based on these results, it can be concluded that many elderly people experience balance disorders in the Karang Lansia Rahayu Elderly Group, Banjar Kertha Bhuwana, Denpasar.

Abstract

The target population in this research were field outreach officer at KPA Badung Regency. Data analysis using 4 stages of descriptive analysis . Result: The officer's understanding of the points of finding clients for HIV testing: conducted at the time of field outreach, socialization and mobile VCT. At the point of referring to delivering directly to the first health care facility, at the point of assisting HIV-positive clients, namely by ensuring the client's drug stock, reminding to take medicine, and taking clients medicine to the service. There was 1 informant who said he did not know how to accompany clients with HIV. Conclusion: There are variations in the understanding of field outreach officers at the point of accompanying HIV-positive clients.

Abstract

Decreased cognitive function in the elderly is the leading cause of inability to carry out normal daily activities, as well as a high level of reliance on others in caring for themselves. The many problems that arise due to decreased cognitive function require a healthy aging process so that decreased cognitive function does not cause health problems in the lives of the elderly. Decreased cognitive function in the elderly is the biggest cause of inability to carry out normal daily activities and is also the cause of the elderly experiencing a high level of dependence on others in caring for themselves. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of tandem walking exercises in improving the cognitive function of the elderly. This research is experimental with a one-group pre and post-test design. Target population in this study were the elderly who experienced cognitive impairment in Dangin Puri Kauh Village, Denpasar Utara District. Sampling method used in this research is purposive sampling. The research sample consisted of 24 people who were given tandem walking exercise. Measurement of cognitive function was carried out using the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), which was measured before and after being given training. Data obtained were analyzed using the SPSS Version 25.0 application. The results of testing the hypothesis using the wilcoxon rank test obtained an average before training of 22.46 and an average after training of 27.08 with a value of p = 0.000. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that tandem walking exercises can improve cognitive function in the elderly

Abstract

Improving physical condition at the Futsal UKM Universitas Bali International, training was carried out on the Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop circuit  and the Front Cone Hop Squad circuit. This study aims to determine the training of the Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop circuit  and the Squad Front Cone Hop circuit in increasing leg muscle strength. The research method used is the randomized pre and post test group design experimental method. The research sample was 30 Futsal UKM participants who were divided into 2 groups, each group consisting of 15 people. Kelompok I diberikan pelatihan sirkuit Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop, sedangkan kelompok II diberikan pelatihan  Squad Front Cone Hop. Frequency of exercise 3 times a week for 6 weeks. Leg muscle strength is measured with a leg dynamometer. The results of the test study were different from the non-parametric U Mann-Whitney test in group I after treatment obtained an average leg muscle strength of 133.00 ± 26.43 kg. While the results of group II after treatment obtained an average leg muscle strength of 11 6.33 ± 1 4.76 kg. The difference in average leg muscle strength between before and after training from the two groups obtained a value of p = 0.000 which means there is a significant difference with a percentage increase in group I of 18.04% and group II of 13.26%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that these two forms of training can be used to increase leg muscle strength. However, Calf Raise Diagonal Cone Hop circuit training  is more effective than the Squad Front Cone Hop circuit to increase leg muscle strength.
