Abstract

This research aims to develop an analytical geometry ethno-project module. This research was conducted at IKIP Siliwangi, with 50 students as research subjects. This research uses Research and Development (R & D) ADDIE module. This research concludes. Based on the results of the development research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the development of the analytical geometry ethno-project module has obtained very valid, practical and very effective qualities, so that the learning module is suitable for use in further analytical geometry learning. Apart from that, from the results of the development of this learning module, students can increase their creativity in the form of skills in making analytical geometric batik designs in the form of drawings in analytical geometry including: triangles, quadrilaterals, circles, parabolas, ellipses and hyperbolas.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the application of the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach can improve students' mathematical communication skills. When compared with conventional learning, the results are better. The research method and design used is an experimental method (True Experimental Design) with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The research population was class VII students at SMPN 3 Cipeundeuy. The samples studied were students in class VII-A as the experimental class and VII-B as the control class, with a total of 32 students in each class. The data collection technique used in this research is pretest and posttest data. Then the data was processed using Microsoft Excel 2013 and IBM SPSS Statistics 26 software. The results of data processing showed that Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted. So it can be concluded that the achievement of students' mathematical communication skills who use the Realistic Mathematic Education (RME) approach is better than those who use conventional learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the mistakes made by students while working on math problems in Sequence and series. The background to this study is that it is difficult to understand students during their studies, which leads to mistakes in solving the math problems of Sequence and series. The purpose of this study is to determine what mistakes are common in solving questions about Sequence and series. The subjects of this study were 10 students of eleventh grade at SMK Plus Darussurur, Cimahi City. The data collection method uses written essay questions with results obtained from the analysis of the level of error based on the Kastolan Theory.  Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was found that the level of student errors in working on sequence and series problems is as follows : 1) Conceptual errors with a percentage rate of 50% with the criterion of "High Enough" error rate; 2) Procedural Errors with a percentage rate of 32.1% with the criterion of "Low" error rate; 3) Technical errors with a percentage of 17.9% with the "Very Low" error rate criterion. From this, we can conclude that the common error in solving the Sequence and seriesproblem is a form of conceptual error. This means that the students' conceptual understanding of Sequence and series is still lacking. Because learning tends to focus on procedures without linking basic concepts, lack of visualization and real context, and limited abstract thinking skills and varied exercises.

Abstract

The rapid development of educational technology requires teachers to possess adaptive skills in designing learning processes that meet the demands of the 21st century. Teachers at Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Pacet (YAPIP) in Cianjur face challenges in understanding and implementing deep learning approaches, which consist of mindful learning, meaningful learning, and joyful learning, as well as in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an educational innovation. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies through a workshop focused on integrating AI into the design of deep learning-based instruction. The method included four stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and reflection, involving 28 teachers from elementary and junior high school levels. The results indicated improvements in teachers’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward AI integration, demonstrated by innovative lesson designs, group presentations, and reflective discussions. Evaluation revealed that more than 80% of participants reported increased confidence in applying AI to their teaching practice. Challenges included limited digital infrastructure and variations in teachers’ technological literacy. Nevertheless, the workshop proved to be an effective alternative solution for supporting curriculum implementation and strengthening teacher professionalism. The outputs included lesson plans, scientific publications, media articles, and recommendations for program sustainability. Thus, this activity is expected to serve as a replicable model for other schools to improve the quality of technology-based education in regions with low Human Development Index (HDI).
