Abstract

Background: Cervical cancer can be recognized at the pre-cancer stage by doing early detection test in married women. One of the cervical cancer early detection methods is Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) test. The coverage of the early detection of cervical cancer through VIA test method in 2017 was still very low, i. e. 1.03% from the national target of 50%. The research aims to know the determinants of cervical cancer early detection behaviour by using IVA test method in visitors of Policlinic KIA-KB (Pediatric and Family Planning Polyclinic) in Kassi-Kassi Public Health Center.Methods: The research was observational analytical research with cross-sectional study design. The population of the study was all women of fertile couple that visited Policlinic KIA-KB in Kassi-Kassi Public Health Center and lived within the coverage area of Kassi-Kassi Public Health Center, which amounted to 135 women. The samples were 101 women that were collected by using the accidental sampling technique.Results: The results showed that there was a relation between knowledge (p=0.000), attitude (p=0.005), husband support (p=0.000), as well as health worker support (p=0.000) and early detection behaviour by using IVA test method. Conclusions: Meanwhile, there was no relation between education and early detection behaviour by using IVA test method. There should be proactive and creative actions from health workers in improving the knowledge of the targets and their husbands about early detection of cervical cancer.

Abstract

Objectives: This study aimed to see the effect of a combination of motivational interviewing and physicalactivity programs on the quality of life of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (type 2 DM).Methods: The design of this study was a quasi-experimental with a non-randomized control group pretestposttest design. The population was all patients with type 2 DM who were recorded in the medical records ofPublic Health Centers. The sampling technique was exhaustive sampling with a sample size of 30 people inthe intervention group and 30 people in the control group. Using bivariate data analysis, the two dependentmean difference test and two independent mean difference tests were used.Results: Statistical analysis show that there are differences in the mean value of the four domains ofquality of life in the intervention group before and after treatment (p = 0.0001 for each domain of PhysicalHealth, Psychological Conditions, Social Relations, and Environmental Conditions); there is a differencein the quality of life of type 2 DM patients between the intervention group and the control group with thepercentage of improving the quality of life in the good category in the intervention group after being giventreatment by 66.7% (p= 0.0001).Conclusion: Providing a combination of counseling programs with a motivational interviewing approachwhich is followed by gymnastics exercise is effective in improving the quality of life of type 2 DM patients.

Abstract

Keluhan Low Back Pain (LBP) dapat menyerang semua orang, jenis kelamin, usia, dan profesi. Banyaknya produksijahitan di setiap minggunya berkorelasi dengan lama kerja menjahit di setiap harinya, sehingga menuntut penjahitduduk selama berjam-jam. Posisi kerja yang tidak ergonomis juga memberikan efek adanya keluhan LBP pada pekerja.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja dan sikap kerja terhadap keluhan LBP pada penjahitdi Rumah Jahit Akhwat (RJA) Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan crosssectional study. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada Desember 2018 – Januari 2019 terhadap 33 pekerja sebagai sampelyang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data beban kerja diperoleh menggunakan kuesioner, sikap kerjamenggunakan REBA, keluhan LBP menggunakan NBM. Analisis data yang dilakukan adalah univariat dan bivariatdengan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada 39,4% yang memiliki keluhan LBP dan 60,0% tidakmemiliki keluhan LBP. Adapun ada hubungan antara beban kerja (p= 0,005) dan sikap kerja (p= 0,000) dengan keluhanLow Back Pain. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara beban kerja dan sikap kerja dengan keluhanlow back pain pada penjahit Rumah Jahit Akhwat Makassar. Saran penulis terhadap pekerja ialah memodifikasi stasiunkerja pekerja agar lebih nyaman dan mencegah keparahan keluhan low back pain.

Abstract

The study aims to test the impact of service quality, product innovation and promotion on customer loyalty in Donat Kampar Galesong district of Takalar. The type of research used is the quantitative method. The sample used consisted of 94 samples selected using purposive sampling. Data in the sample uses primary data obtained using a distributed questionnaire. The data analysis methods used are validity tests, rehabilitation tests, classical assumption tests, double linear regression tests and hypothesis tests using SPSS version 25 analysis tools. The results of the research showed that the quality of service has a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty, product innovation has no and significant effect on client loyalty and promotion has a significant and positive impact on customers loyalty On Donat Kampar Galesong Takalar district.
