Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja, kompensasi dan pengembangan karir terhadap employee turnover intention selama pandemi Covid-19 di PT. Rigspek Perkasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menguji teori atau hipotesis untuk memperkuat ataupun menolak teori atau hipotesis hasil dari penelitian sebelumnya. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Purposive Sampling dan diperoleh sebanyak 36 responden sebagai sampel. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dari penyebarn kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan karir positif signifikan terhadap employee turnover intention. Namun kepuasan kerja dan kompensasi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap employee turnover intention.

Abstract

Kampung Melayu Batu Besar Batam adalah salah satu desa wisata yang terdapat di Kota Batam. Kampung ini terletak tidak jauh dari Bandara Udara Hang Nadim Batam. Terdapat salah satu wisata yang terkenal di kampung ini yaitu Pantai Melayu. Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang berfokus pada pelatihan pengemasan produk dan membentuk Komunitas Usaha Wanita di Kampung Melayu Batu Besar Batam. Adapun manfaat Kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dari Jurusan Manajemen ini antara lain manfaat memberikan pelatihan kewirausahaan bagi remaja putri dan ibu-ibu di Kampung Melayu Batam untuk menciptakan pengusaha-pengusaha baru yang mandiri sehingga dapat memperbaiki taraf hidup dan perekonomian keluarga dan menciptakan Komunitas Usaha di Kampung Melayu yang berkelanjutan dan dimonitoring oleh Politeknik Negeri Batam agar dampak kewirausahaan yang diberikan menjadi nyata dan secara langsung berguna untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan Kampung Melayu.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji peran resistensi terhadap perubahan dan kebutuhan akan keunikan terhadap niat membeli kendaraan listrik, serta peran nilai yang dirasakan dan norma pribadi. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif-kuantitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 150 responden dengan analisis Structural Equation Model (SEM) melalui SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan willingness to pay secara langsung memengaruhi purchase intention kendaraan listrik secara positif dan signifikan. Resistance to change memiliki pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung yang signifikan terhadap willingness to pay dan purchase intention. Need for uniqueness dan environmental concern juga berpengaruh signifikan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung terhadap kedua variabel tersebut. Selain itu, perceived trust in EVs, norma pribadi, dan nilai yang dirasakan terbukti memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung, terhadap willingness to pay dan purchase intention. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya faktor psikologi dan nilai dalam membentuk niat membeli kendaraan listrik.

Abstract

This research examines the relationship between job autonomy, feedback, empowering leadership, and innovative work behavior, with resilience as a mediator. Job autonomy refers to employees' freedom in performing tasks, while feedback provides performance-related information. Empowering leadership encourages employees to take initiative and make independent decisions. A quantitative approach was used, and data was collected through questionnaires from employees with over one year of experience in manufacturing and shipyard companies in Batam. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analyzed direct and mediating relationships. Findings indicate that job autonomy and feedback significantly enhance innovative work behavior while empowering leadership has a positive but insignificant effect. Resilience mediates these relationships, meaning employees with autonomy, constructive feedback, and empowering leaders are more innovative, especially if they have high resilience. This study offers practical insights for organizations to foster innovation by enhancing job autonomy, providing effective feedback, implementing empowering leadership, and strengthening employee resilience programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji bagaimana pengaruh pelatihan dan learning agility dalam mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel penelitian dari PT ExcelitasTechnologies Batam yang diambil sebanyak 105 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik sensus. Untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian, alat analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda. Data yang didapat kemudian diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 25.Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pelatihan berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung variabel pelatihan > ttabel sehingga H1 diterima. Learning agility berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai thitung variabel learning agility > ttabel sehingga H2 diterima.

Abstract

Appropriate and effective learning methods are needed that are truly able to develop sales skills, especially Business to Business (B2B) sales. This study aims to empirically test how effective the Project Based Learning B2B Sales Meeting organized by the Applied Business Administration Study Program is in improving student sales skills. The method used to answer research problems is Quasi Experiment method. The results of hypothesis testing using the t-test showed that there were significant differences in the pretest and posttest scores of the research subject's sales skills and the posttest scores showed a higher value than the pretest scores. Thus PBL B2B Sales Meeting is effective in improving sales skills of research subjects. With the proven effectiveness of the PBL method, it is recommended that this method be applied in other courses.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and explore information about how effective the online learning process is and how the work engagement of educators at the Bina Ummah Doktor Haji Adamri Al Husainy Foundation in Batam City during the covid-19 pandemic. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Informants or subjects in this study were MI and MTs educators, Chair of the Foundation, One Roof Management (MSA) staff and had worked for at least 2 years. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interview techniques. Researchers used data analysis described by Creswell. The results of this study indicate the goals and objectives of the Bina Ummah Foundation for education, social and religious or religion. During covid-19 the Foundation implemented a new policy, namely the online learning process using technology. The media used are Zoom, Whatsapp, Google Meet, and Youtube. This policy is considered less effective. This is due to obstacles such as no interaction so that students cannot understand, difficulties in delivering material, material is difficult for students to accept, lack of awareness of obligations. The advantages of this policy are having free time and increasing knowledge about technology. In addition, the drawbacks of this policy are a lot of time wasted, the learning process is not effective and the lack of awareness of responsibility to students. The level of work engagement is considered to have decreased from before, but it did not break the aspect of the work spirit or vigor of the educators. Aspects of dedication are given by educators by showing a sense of love for their work such as being responsible, committed, disciplined, obeying the rules and working sincerely and sincerely. Work engagement factors are the existence of trust, work contracts and the existence of reciprocal relationships that are accepted.
