Abstract

A multisensor control system based on the LabVIEW myRIO programming has been created for monitoring indoor air quality. The purpose of this research is to create a system to monitor and control the levels of CO and CO2 in the room so that it remains within the threshold of healthy air and does not endanger users. The research phase began with the manufacture of a multisensor circuit and a relay module for the air purifier system and connected to the input and output ports of the myRIO module as a processor programmed with LabVIEW. The process of testing the multisensor response and the activation response of the air purifier on-off is carried out in open areas and indoors by adding artificial air pollution. Besides, air quality control and monitor is also carried out when the level of CO or CO2 gas exceeds the threshold by increasing the number of users and set the air conditioner activation. From the results and data analysis, it was found that the system could be used as a monitor and control the indoor air quality as expected. The range of CO sensor readings is 7.46 ppm - 27.65 ppm and CO2 296.8 ppm - 1190.5 ppm. Air purifier on-off control response time to change of CO and CO2 are 7 and 6 seconds. The air purifier system is able to clean indoor air with a long activation time depending on the number users and the room air conditioner activation settings.

Abstract

PLN distribution transformer is a transformer as a voltage-lowering from medium to low voltage which will distribute to customers. In some cases, officers are usually constrained by unpredictable disturbances, especially in power distribution networks to customers which disturbed suddenly and on the distribution station itself which caused the supply of power from the main station are not distributed to area or customers are not supply electrically. In this research is designed a device to improve the officers performance in maintenance and repaired on the network. This device use to detect and give notification of information damage on the FCO (Fuse Cut Out) distribution station based microcontroller through sms. This tool is intended to lighten the duty of PLN officers. This tool is installed inside the distribution station transformer. This system operates if the sensor detects the network outages or damage or trips on one of the distribution station transformer along the network. Due to the position of the tool installed on the end of distribution station, so the tool can detect the interference or damage occurs along the network. The tool will send the information data to the officer via sms.

Abstract

PCBs are very influential on the manufacture of electronic devices, for example when there is even a small number of PCB paths that are cut off or damaged, the electronic device cannot be operated properly. Therefore, in this study, the author tried to create and analyze a defect checking tool on PCBs to replace human vision to make it easier and can save costs. This tool is equipped with the help of a Logitech c920 Webcam and a Raspberry Pi 3b+ microprocessor which is used to store and run programs that have been created on Python programming software, so this tool can be used portablely. With these two technologies, Image Processing can be used to detect objects with the OpenCv library and Google Colab. PCB defect detection tool with the help of Image Processing uses yolo convolutional neural network method to help determine path damage on the PCB. You Only Look Once (YOLO) algorithm with five detection classifications, namely short, open circuit, missing hole, mouse bite, and spur. From the results of the study, the results were obtained that the YOLO algorithm was able to detect these five classifications with a value of mAP@0.5 short 90.67%, open circuit 97.86%, Mouse Bite 94.43%, Missing Hole 96.09%, and spur 97.56%.

Abstract

A corn planting tool has been made by controlling spacing and seed quality based on size. The aim of this research is to make a prototype corn planting tool with plant spacing and seed quality control based on microcontroller controlled size. The research method starts from making a prototype, and measuring system performance. The results of measuring the performance of the tool are indicated by an error in the reading of the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor at a point of 2 cm with an error value of 10% which is close to the actual measurement value, while for reading the distance on the ultrasonic sensor at a point > 2 cm it can be said to be constant to the actual distance. The test results of the BTS7960 motor driver work according to the system work description and are able to control the pulse width modulation (PWM) and the direction of rotation of the DC motor properly. The 28BYJ-48 stepper motor can operate the seed rationing system properly and accurately to rotate the motor at an angle of 90o takes 30 seconds. Overall the tool can function properly. Suggestions for further research, can be added monitoring of corn planting results based on the Internet of Things (IoT).

Abstract

Mencuci tangan merupakan hal sangat penting dan sangat dianjurkan untuk menjaga kodisi kesehatan terutama selama masa pandemi wabah covid-19 ini. Untuk pencucian tangan dengan mengggunakan kran yang digunakan secara bersama menimbulkan ke khawatiran bagi masyarakat karena masih membuka peluang untuk penyebaran virus corona melalui pengguna sebelumnya. Sehingga pencucian tangan dengan menggunakan pedal menjadi alternatif yang bisa dimanfaatkan karena pengguna tidak memegang kran air secara langsung, pengguna cukup menginjak pedal yang sudah disediakan pada bahagian bawah wastafel untuk mengaktifkan kran air. Pemberian dua buah wastafel otomatis yang diposisikan di pasar bawan dan kantor wali nagari Bawan kecamatan ampek nagari ini bisa memberikan kebiasaan kepada pengunjung, baik yang berada di pasar ataupun di kantor wali nagari untuk terbiasa mencuci tangan. Selain itu, hal ini juga akan memberikan kontribusi untuk menghambat penyebaran virus corona.

Abstract

Optical fiber is a transmission medium that uses light as a signal conductor. In order for optical fibers to be used and the benefits are felt, a network architecture is needed, namely FTTH. FTTH consists of active devices such as OLT and ONT as well as passive devices consisting of ODC, Closure, and ODP. In this design, it uses OLS as a light signal transmitter and produces input power. However, over time and the increase in population capacity and the number of access services available, of course, there are more and more requests for the installation of optical networks in customers' homes. Therefore, the most available FTTH device is ODP in order to be able to withdraw cables to customers' homes and continue to expand FTTH. Therefore, this study will discuss the addition of new ODP with the branching method. Using OPM as a measuring tool and calculating the power link budget to find out that the resulting attenuation value is no more than 28dB.

Abstract

Coffee is categorized into three types Robusta, Arabica, and Liberica. The roasting process is the most crucial step in developing the aroma, flavor, and underlying color that determine coffee quality. The coffee roasting process produces complex aroma compounds that impart the desired taste and aroma characteristics of coffee. This research aims to design a coffee content detection tool by determining the carbon monoxide (CO) level in Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica coffee. The research uses the Backpropagation artificial neural network method with 2 hidden layers, including 4 input layers and 3 output layers, to identify the tested coffee varieties. The highest carbon monoxide (CO) levels were found in Arabica Special coffee, with an ADC level of 662 carbon monoxide gas. The lowest carbon monoxide (CO) levels were detected in Liberica coffee, with an ADC level of 105 carbon monoxide gas. Coffee identification was carried out using an artificial neural network method with a success rate of 98% for Liberica coffee, 100% for Arabica coffee, and 98% for Robusta coffee.

Abstract

Oyster mushroom cultivation is very popular among rural and urban communities, both on a small, medium and industrial scale. Oyster mushroom cultivation requires controlling the temperature and humidity in the mushroom barn to get optimal mushroom body growth. In general, the optimal temperature for oyster mushroom growth in the fruiting phase is 26-30°C with a humidity of 70-95%RH. This system describes the workings of the device used to monitor temperature and humidity using a DHT22 sensor through a microcontroller, which is displayed on the Blynk application and a 20x4 LCD. Measurements in lowland areas show a temperature of 29°C and humidity of 95%. The percentage error of the temperature measurement with the DHT22 sensor is 6.37%, with an average error of 1.60%. As for humidity, the measurement error is 0.71% with an average error of 0.82%. With this system, mushroom farmers can monitor the environmental conditions of the cultivation room in real-time through an IoT platform connected to the sensor.

Abstract

Kelompok tani di Sungai Buluh memanfaatkan lahan yang dimiliki oleh beberapa anggota untuk ditanami tanaman cabe. Pengelolaan lahan tanaman cabe ini dilakukan secara rutin setiap hari oleh semua anggota kelompok tani secara bergantian mulai dari pembibitan, pemupukan, penyiraman, dan penyemprotan pestisida. Proses penyemprotan pestisida dilakukan menggunakan alat bernama Tasco yang disandang pada punggung dan disemprot ke tanaman cabe satu per satu secara manual dengan menekan tuas pada bagian bawahnya. Dilihat dari kondisi tasco yang sering tersendat atau macet sehingga proses penyemprotan pestisida menjadi terhambat. Oleh karena itu, tim mengupayakan tawaran teknologi yang memudahkan kelompok tani untuk proses penyemprotan pestisida tanaman cabe otomatis dengan motor pompa 12 volt yang dikendalikan secara otomatis menggunakan mikrokontroler. Sumber listrik diupayakan dari solar sel yang akan mencukupi daya penyemprotan. Tawaran teknologi ini sangat bermanfaat bagi kelompok tani yang rutin melakukan penyemprotan pestisida

Abstract

Salah satu kelompok pemberdayaan perempuan untuk melerstarikan pekarangan lingkungan sekitar di lahan pangan lestari dengan nama kelompok wanita tani Demplot di kelurahan Lubuk Begalung. Lahan kosong berukuran 500 meter persegi dimanfaatkan oleh ibuk-ibuk yang bergabung dalam KWT-Demplot untuk bercocok tanam sayuran. Ketua kelompok pangan lestari ini di koodinir oleh ketua RT setempat. Pengelolaan lahan sayuran ini dilakukan bergantian secara rutin setiap hari oleh ibu-ibu mulai dari pembibitan, pemupukan, pembersihan dari hama rumput serta penyiraman.Rumput liar dapat menjadi masalah serius bagi pertanian dan kebun jika tidak segera diatasi. Beberapa rumput liar dapat berkembang biak dengan cepat melalui biji, sementara yang lain dapat merambat. Tanah yang sehat dan subur dapat memberikan keunggulan bersaing terhadap rumput liar. Memastikan tanah terbebas dari rumput liar dengan menjaga kelembaban tanah atau mencegah genangan air dan memberikan nutrisi yang tepat untuk tanaman utama adalah langkah kuncinya. Cara mengatasinya tanpa terganggu dengan rumput tersebut dengan penyiangan secara rutin dengan cara manual untuk mengendalikan pertumbuhan rumput liar. Ini mencakup mencabut rumput liar secara manual atau menggunakan alat penyiangan tanah. Tim mengamati bahwa pekerjaan ini memang membutuhkan waktu dan tenaga yang melelahkan, kemudian dilihat dari kondisi rumput yang subur tumbuh. Oleh karena itu, tim mengupayakan tawaran teknologi yang memudahkan ibu-ibu untuk proses pemotongan rumput liar dari tanaman sayuran. Solusinya dengan memodifikasi mesin potong rumput yang ada dengan mesin potong rumput berdaya baterai sehingga ringan dibawa-bawa selama pemotongan rumput.
