Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide knowledge to MSMEs who already have businesses but have not been able to develop their businesses optimally. To overcome this problem in this community service program through digital marketing training. The targets of this community service activity are MSMEs in Lhokseumawe City. This service method is socialization, training, and application of digital marketing which includes: (1) training on the importance of product branding, and how to create product branding. (2) Explanation of how to create branding for products (3) practice of procedures for implementing digital marketing in business development. This community service partnership activity is carried out face to face and because of implementing this activity it is hoped that MSMEs in the city of Lhokseumawe can understand the importance of product branding for business development and the application and benefits of digital marketing for businesses that are being or will be run in any field, be it culinary, fashion or services.

Abstract

Cryptocurrency is one of the investment commodities that can generate returns and already has a permit to be traded in exchange trading through the Indonesian Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (BAPEPTI). Digital crypto assets traded in Indonesia are quite a lot through the Indodax trading company. The purpose of this study is focused on formulating a risk management process in investing in digital cryptocurrency assets. In addition, the results of this study will produce policy recommendations known as LCTR or "Legal Cryptocurrency and Tax Revenue" which are expected to be considered by the government in formulating policies on digital crypto assets so that the interests of all parties can be accommodated in order to realize maximum state revenue from trading digital crypto asset commodities. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a research population of 10 cryptocurrency coins with the largest market caps in Indonesia, namely Cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Stellar, DASH, Dogecoin, Zcash, Monero in Indonesia. The type of data in this study is time series data taken from January 2017 to December 2020 by conducting a documentation study conducted on the publication of monthly cryptocurrency transaction reports, so that a target population of 480 (4 years x 12 months x 10 coins) monthly report data was obtained for the research sample. The data analysis method in this study uses multiple linear regression and data analysis using e-views statistical software version 10.

Abstract

Socializing the Relationship between Economic Growth and Interest in Digital Investment to Students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Faculty of Economics, Malikussaleh University is very important in this digital era. Rapid economic growth in the digital era has created various new investment opportunities, including in digital sectors such as cryptocurrencies, technology stocks and other online investment platforms. However, students' understanding and interest in digital investment still varies. Discussion of digital-based financial literacy in investment has shown its impact in increasing students' awareness and interest in making digital investments and digital-based financial literacy can help students understand the use of digital investment applications and the risks of loss and profit opportunities that can be obtained. In the digital era, mastery of technology is an important key in winning business competition, as well as in understanding financial investment opportunities by utilizing financial technology. The Bachelor of Business Management and Administration program is designed to prepare graduates who are able to create innovations in the financial sector to meet investment needs. Economic growth plays an important role in increasing interest in digital investment among students. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions strengthen financial and economic education to prepare students to face the digital investment era. Apart from that, more intensive outreach regarding digital investment opportunities and risks is needed to increase investment literacy among students.

Abstract

In Indonesia, the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) often occurs which describes the condition of the level of demand for work. The level of demand for work is influenced by several factors such as the wage factor, the level of education completed and the factor of technological development. To overcome the open unemployment rate, the government needs to facilitate access education and skills training needed by job seekers. Research in this journal uses qualitative research methods. Using secondary data sourced from BPS Bireuen Regency in 2017-2019. This research aims to see how the influence of wage factors, recent education levels and technological developments on the level of demand for work and also on the level of open unemployment. Based on this research, it can be seen that the factor of wages, the level of recent education and technological developments have a positive influence on the level of demand for work

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of awareness, halal certification, packaging innovation, on economic empowerment and the role of halal certification, packaging innovation as a mediating variable between the influence of awareness on economic empowerment in Lhokseumawe City. This research is a quantitative research. The sampling technique uses the sampling census technique (saturation sample) with a total of 37 respondents who are refilling water business in the Lhokseumawe city. The analysis test tool used is SmartPLS 3 with the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) analysis method. The results of the study stated awareness has no positive and significant effect on halal certification, awareness has no positive and significant effect on packaging innovation, and economic empowerment, halal certification has no positive effect on economic empowerment, packaging innovation has a positive effect on economic empowerment. However, the halal certification variable does not mediate the influence of awareness on economic empowerment and the packaging innovation variable is able to mediate awareness of economic empowerment in refil water business in Lhokseumawe City.

Abstract

Community service activities were conducted in Lhokseumawe City, focusing on meat traders and targeting both youth and the general public. The primary objective of this community empowerment initiative was to enhance understanding and provide assistance in halal slaughtering through training and certification for halal slaughterers (juleha) among market meat traders in Lhokseumawe. This effort aims to ensure the sustainability and development of halal slaughtering practices in the future. The training program was designed as an intensive and continuous educational activity, accompanied by experts from the PKM Unimal team and MPU-SJPH Aceh. The implementation method comprised three main stages: (1) Preparation, which included forming a field implementation team, conducting outreach to the community and meat traders, recruiting expert tutors in halal slaughtering, and coordinating with the implementation team; (2) Execution, which involved delivering material on halal slaughtering techniques, constructing appropriate slaughtering facilities, procuring necessary equipment, and carrying out the slaughtering process; and (3) Evaluation, as the final stage, where outcomes were assessed to improve future activities. The program is also designed to be sustainable through independent funding. Evaluation was conducted by comparing the conditions of participants before and after the mentoring process, using interviews and observation.

Abstract

Quran Reading Guidance for new students at IAIN Palangka Raya and 2nd and 4th semester students taking the AIK Course at Muhammadiyah University of Palangka Raya is an important effort to improve reading skills and understanding of the contents of the holy book. This activity is carried out using a private method, which provides individual attention to each participant during 20 guidance sessions at IAIN Palangka Raya and 16 guidance sessions at Muhammadiyah University of Palangka Raya, taking place from September 11 to October 6, 2024. The methods applied include a classical approach, reading and reading together. The results of the guidance show a significant increase in students' ability to read the Quran by studying together, both in terms of fluency, understanding of tajwid, and self-confidence when reading. Despite obstacles such as variations in ability levels and motivation, the application of flexible and interactive methods has succeeded in improving the quality of Quran reading. Thus, this guidance not only strengthens students' academic abilities, but also builds a solid spiritual foundation that improves social relationships.

Abstract

This study examines the practice of using the TikTok application and video snacks for Malikussaleh University Faculty of Economics and Business students in generating income based on the Ju'alah contract. The population in this study are all active students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University from 2015-2022, with a total of 3,450 students, including 872 students (S1), 2,578 students (S1) with a sample size of 10 (Ten) respondents consisting of 6 (Six) users of the tiktok application and 4 (Four) users of the video snack application. With the research method in the form of a qualitative analysis method by conducting direct interviews with respondents to get answers to the problems studied. The results showed that there is a practice of using the TikTok and Snack Video applications in obtaining income for students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Malikussaleh University which is in accordance with the provisions of the Ju'alah contract. where in this Tiktok and Snack Video application there are Ja "il parties (Tiktok and Snack Video developers) and Ma "jul lah parties (Tiktok and Snack Video users). In addition, in the Tiktok and Snack Video applications there is also an object of Ju'alah work, where the object of Ju'alah in the Tiktok and Snack Video applications is to download the Tiktok application, invite friends (new users) and watch videos. However, there are several things that must be considered that a person or new user who is invited is not under duress then also not under threat from the inviting user. Furthermore, videos or content viewed in the Tiktok application and video snacks must not contain things that violate Shari'a such as videos that have elements of immorality and others that are prohibited by Shari'a..

Abstract

The souvenir business is a business that has been running in the Muara Batu sub-district, North Aceh district for several decades. Tourist interest in merchandise and souvenirs when visiting Aceh province, especially cross-coastal areas, is a special attraction when shopping. North Aceh is an administrative area with a district administration, Muara Batu sub-district is right in the middle of the eastern route of Sumatra. Located between Banda Aceh and Medan, this district is a vital distribution and trade route in Aceh. Unfortunately this has not been supported by the use of technology in fostering digital marketing management. The solution to partner problems is to develop business management, develop human resources, provide guidance on partner product promotion, motivating employees and mastery of technology. The program monitoring and evaluation system as well as seeing the impact of implementing the program was tested using the CIPP method. The outputs in this service are: 1. Draft Scientific Publications in Community Service Journals 2. Indonesian Serambi Mass Media Articles 3. Partner Capacity Building with Digital Marketing Optimization.
