Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem in Segara Anakan has experienced significant habitat changes, with nearly half of the area damaged, thereby impacting the mangrove vegetation structure. This study determines the structure of mangrove forest communities using a survey method and a random sampling technique. เว็บสล็อต | R4shub Quadrants of varying sizes were used to measure tree, sapling, and seedling vegetation. The study identified 10 mangrove species from 4 families: Rhizophoraceae (5 species), Meliaceae (1 species), Lythraceae (2 species), and Acanthaceae (2 species). Tree-level mangrove density was highest at station 3 (0.28 ind/m²), followed by stations 2 (0.27 ind/m²) and 1 (0.16 ind/m²). Sapling density was also highest at station 3 (13.08 ind/m²), followed by stations 2 (12.48 ind/m²) and 1 (9.84 ind/m²). These findings provide valuable insights into the current state of mangrove ecosystems in Segara Anakan, emphasizing the need for conservation and management efforts to mitigate further habitat degradation and loss of biodiversity.  Keywords: density, environmental impact, mangrove, species richess,

Abstract

Peningkatan manusia dan aktifitas manusia menimbulkan permasalahan sampah yang semakin kompleks, dimana sampah tersebut dapat berdampak kepada kehidupan manusia termasuk kesehatan. Oleh karena itu pengelolaan sampah yang baik perlu diajarkan sejak dini. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada siswa tentang pentingnya pengelolaan sampah dan dampaknya terhadap lingkungan serta mengajarkan siswa tentang cara mengolah sampah plastik menjadi bentuk kerajinan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 10 Meulaboh dengan sasaran kegiatan yaitu siswa kelas 6 sejumlah 22 siswa. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam 2 tahap kegiatan yaitu penyuluhan kesehatan dan pelatihan pembuatan kerajinan dari sampah plastik. Media yang digunakan berupa slide powerpoint dan juga petunjuk teknis pelatihan. Evaluasi kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui evaluasi struktur, proses, dan hasil. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan oleh tim FIK-UTU telah berjalan dengan sangat baik dengan luaran yang cukup optimal yaitu kemampuan siswa dalam mengelola sampah menjadi kerajinan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis. Untuk terus meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dan membentuk perilaku siswa tentang pengelolaan sampah maka sekolah dapat terus melakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi terhadap perilaku siswa serta memberikan penguatan.

Abstract

Industry development in Indonesia has experienced a significant increase in recent years, one of which is the growth of the rubber processing sector. One of the business conditions that has the potential to endanger lung health is the rubber processing production sector. The purpose of this study was to identify variables related to complaints from employees in the production division of PTPN Regional IV Kebun Bandar Betsy. This study used a cross-sectional study design, and quantitative research through analytical investigation. All employees in the rubber processing production division total 73 rubber processing factories became the study population, the total sampling procedure was used to select a sample of 73 respondents from December 1 to December 31, 2023. Research Analysis Using the Chi-Square test, data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately. The results of the statistical test showed that the p-value (0.023), there was a relationship between work experience and complaints of respiratory disorders, the p-value (0.011) there was a relationship between smoking habits and complaints of respiratory disorders, the p-value (0.006) between the use of personal protective equipment and complaints of respiratory disorders. Based on the results of the study, employees of the rubber processing production of PT. reported respiratory disorders related to length of service, smoking habits, and use of personal protective equipment. Therefore, the recommendation is to provide training on occupational health hazards in the rubber processing industry, as well as safe techniques and procedures to avoid health risks, including the correct use of PPE.
