Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta melihat hubungan dukungan sosial dengan subjective well-being pada remaja awal di Panti Asuhan Grace. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik purposive sampling, dan sampel berjumlah 32 responden. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala yaitu skala dukungan sosial dan skala subjective well-being. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik korelasi product moment. Hasil analisis dengan metode analisa korelasi r product moment diperoleh nilai korelasi () = 0,667 dengan p = 0,000 0,05. Hasil tersebut menyatakan bahwa korelasi positif menunjukkan semakin tinggi dukungan sosial maka semakin tinggi pula subjective well-being, begitu juga sebaliknya, sehingga hipotesis dapat diterima. Koefisien determinasi (r²) = 0,658. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial memberikan sumbangan sebesar 65,8% terhadap subjective well-being.

Abstract

Dating has become a salient developmental and social phenomenon among university students, yet its expression may be shaped by internalized religious values that guide moral reasoning and self-control. This study examined the relationship between religiosity and dating decisions among Psychology students at the University of Medan Area. Using a quantitative correlational design, data were collected from a purposive sample of active students (N = 177) via two instruments: a Religiosity Scale and a Dating Decision Scale. Both instruments demonstrated excellent internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha = 0.983 and 0.987, respectively). Assumption testing indicated normal distributions for both variables and evidence of linearity between them. Pearson product–moment analysis revealed a strong, significant negative association between religiosity and dating decisions (r = −0.855, p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.731, indicating that religiosity accounted for 73.1% of the variance in dating decisions. Mean comparisons further suggested that students’ religiosity was relatively low, whereas their tendency toward dating decisions was relatively high. The principal conclusion is that higher religiosity is associated with lower dating decision tendencies among students. These findings imply that strengthening the internalization of religious and ethical values—integrated with counseling and student development programming—may support more reflective personal decision-making in campus life. Future research should examine mediating and moderating factors (e.g., peer influence, self-control, gender, and social media exposure) and employ longitudinal or mixed-method approaches.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between peer social support and student engagement. This research method is a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The population in this study was 93 students with a sample of 93 students. The sampling technique used is total sampling technique. Based on the results of the product moment correlation test above, it can be seen that the significance value of the peer social support and student engagement variables is 0.001 < 0.05. This explains that there is a significant relationship between social support from peers and student engagement in students. The Pearson correlation value obtained between peer social support and student engagement was 0.677. This explains that the variable peer social support and student engagement has a positive correlation with a strong correlation coefficient. The determinant coefficient value obtained is 0.458 or 45.8% of the influence of peer social support on student engagement. Based on the determinant coefficient value, it can be seen that the influence of peer social support on student engagement is 45.8% and the remaining 54.2% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Several things or factors that become or influence itIncome level greatly influences a person's motivation to behave generously. The tendency of people to spend their income to fulfill their personal satisfaction. Although there are also some people who spend their wealth for the benefit of other people or humanitarian interests, namely by giving charity. Another phenomenon that can encourage someone's generosity is when the law of diminishing marginal utility applies, where the assets someone owns can no longer provide satisfaction, so they are encouraged to donate them to other people.This research aims to determine the description of generosity behavior in the philanthropic millennial generation. The design of this research is phenomenological. The number of respondents in this study was three people with three informants as sources of triangulation. The technique for collecting respondent data uses purposive sampling. Research data was collected through observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques are carried out by means of data reduction, data display, and verification. The research results show that respondents can feel generosity behavior. For the behavioral aspect of generosity, the three respondents also felt life satisfaction, because more positive affection appeared. Internal factors are also very influential, so that respondents have quite high levels of generosity behavior where the three respondents have strong personalities in enjoying life and are happy when making other people happy (social spirit), have the principle of feeling what other people feel, and have strong faith. towards God Almighty. Support from family, co-workers and social support which are external factors also greatly influence the high level of generosity behavior in the three respondents.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Lingkungan kerja merupakan faktor penting yang dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan terhadap perusahaan. Kondisi kerja yang nyaman, aman, dan mendukung mendorong karyawan untuk bekerja lebih optimal, memiliki komitmen yang lebih tinggi, serta terlibat secara emosional dan kognitif. Tujuan: untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan kerja dengan keterlibatan karyawan di PT SPC (Sinar Perdana Caraka) Wilmar Group. Metode: penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 119 karyawan, dengan 40 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan skala lingkungan kerja oleh Permatasari (2011) dan skala keterlibatan karyawan yang dikembangkan oleh Schaufeli dan Bakker (2004). Analisis data menggunakan korelasi Pearson. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan koefisien korelasi sebesar rxy = 0,675 dengan nilai signifikansi p = 0,000 (p < 0,05), yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara lingkungan kerja dan keterlibatan karyawan. Lingkungan kerja memberikan kontribusi efektif sebesar 45,6% terhadap keterlibatan karyawan, sedangkan 54,4% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain seperti kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi, dan kesempatan pengembangan karier. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja dan keterlibatan karyawan berada pada kategori sangat baik, ditunjukkan oleh nilai mean empirik yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan mean hipotetik. Kesimpulan: bahwa lingkungan kerja berperan penting dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan.
