Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the learning process of children with special needs at the Salsabila Elementary School in Purwakarta. Children with special needs often do not get the same learning rights as other normal children. Therefore, it is necessary to study and find the right solution regarding this problem at Salsabila Elementary School. The research method uses an ethnographic design with a qualitative approach. data collection techniques through in-depth observation, interviews, and documenting the data. Data analysis by triangulation and interpretation. The results showed that the learning of children with special needs with other normal children in Salsabila Purwakarta Elementary School showed no difference. All children have the same right to learn with the educators, methods, media, and curriculum applied in the school. Learning prioritizes character building or soft skills compared to cognitive emphasis.

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab terjadinya bencana ekologis tersebut adalah sampah yang tidak dikelola dengan baik, Dari total produksi sampah nasional tersebut, 65.71% (13.9 juta ton) dapat terkelola, sedangkan sisanya 34,29% (7,2 juta ton) belum terkelola dengan baik. Berkaitan dengan masalah diatas pemerintah kabupaten purwakarta melalui dinas pendidikan kabupaten purwakarta membuat kebijakan yang berlandaskan peraturan bupati nomor 103 tahun 2021 tentang Tatanen Di Bale Atikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengethui bagaimana penerapan tatanen di bale atikan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriftif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menjelaskan bahwa dinas pendidikan kabupaten purwakarta membuat kebijakan pendidikan karakter dan di sosialisasikan kepada seluruh sekolah beruba pelatihan untuk seluruh warga sekolah, pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut dengan pendekatan permacultur dan model pembelajaran berbasis PANCANITI.

Abstract

Penguatan kapasitas organisasi, khususnya pada Ikatan Remaja Masjid (IRMA) di Desa Cibukamanah, menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan peran generasi muda dalam kehidupan sosial dan keagamaan. Observasi menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas remaja masjid hanya meningkat selama bulan Ramadan, sementara dalam periode lainnya mengalami penurunan aktivitas akibat kepengurusan yang tidak jelas dan kesibukan individu. Melalui pendekatan Partisipation Action Research (PAR), kegiatan sosialisasi, berbagi pengetahuan, dan dialog diadakan untuk memetakan permasalahan serta mencari solusi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan perlunya penyusunan struktur organisasi yang jelas, meningkatkan rasa cinta terhadap masjid, serta mengoptimalkan partisipasi remaja. Pembentukan kepengurusan baru dengan tugas dan tanggung jawab yang jelas berpotensi untuk memberdayakan remaja masjid dan memberikan kontribusi positif dalam memakmurkan masjid, serta pengembangan masyarakat. Keberadaan IRMA yang teroganisasi diharapkan menjadi pendukung bagi pengurus masjid dalam melaksanakan program-program sosial dan keagamaan.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine how the Merdeka Curriculum provides a holistic framework by combining language and literature learning, with the goal of enhancing literacy skills and at the same time nurturing cultural awareness. Using a systematic literature review method, the study reviewed scholarly works—including articles, research reports, and scientific publications published between 2015 and 2025—selected through purposive sampling based on predetermined eligibility criteria. Data were analysed thematically through coding, categorisation, and identification of recurring themes. The findings reveal that integrating language and literature in the Merdeka Curriculum consistently enhances students’ critical reading, expressive writing, and comprehension of social and cultural contexts. The incorporation of digital technologies and interactive media further broadens access and encourages active participation in integrative learning. Nevertheless, several challenges persist, such as limited teacher competence, insufficient professional training, and inadequate supporting facilities.The study concludes that the success of language and literature integration within the Merdeka Curriculum is strongly influenced by teacher preparedness, supportive educational policies, and adequate infrastructure. It further emphasises the necessity of continuous professional development for teachers, the establishment of competency-based assessment models, and the expansion of empirical research to evaluate the broader effectiveness of integrative approaches. These findings provide significant implications for policymakers, educators, and researchers seeking to enhance both literacy skills and cultural awareness in the Indonesian educational context.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the learning interest of 11th-grade students at MA Al-Ahliyah Bakan Maja in the Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqih) subject, specifically on the topic of Jinayat, through the implementation of the crossword puzzle learning method. The research was motivated by the low student interest characterized by minimal participation, low attention levels, and unsatisfactory learning outcomes. Using a qualitative approach in the form of Classroom Action Research with the Kemmis and McTaggart spiral model, the study was conducted over two cycles, each consisting of four meetings. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Initial observations showed that only 24% of students were actively involved, with an average interest score of 2.1 (low category). After implementing the crossword puzzle in Cycle I, student participation rose to 65%, with an average interest score of 3.2. Improvements in Cycle II, including differentiated puzzle difficulty and a reward system, increased participation to 89% and the average interest score to 4.1. The findings indicate that the crossword puzzle method effectively boosts student interest in Fiqih, creating an active, enjoyable, and collaborative learning environment.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a self-habituation program based on religious values in improving student discipline, particularly regarding delays in performing congregational prayers among Grade X students at MA Al-Ahliyah. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the self-habituation program, implemented through regular religious activities such as congregational prayers, Qur'an recitation, and spiritual guidance, positively impacts students' discipline. Although some challenges remain, such as lack of personal awareness and suboptimal supervision, the program is generally effective in shaping students' disciplined character. It is recommended that the school maintain consistent implementation and conduct regular evaluations of the program.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the EMIS-based SIMDIK program at Madrasah Aliyah Purwakarta, which faces challenges such as limited budgets, human resources, infrastructure, and internet network issues in remote areas. The study aims to evaluate the implementation of SIMDIK in improving the performance of madrasahs, covering planning, organization, implementation, supervision, identification of problems, solutions, and performance outcomes. The qualitative research method, with observations, interviews, and documentation, is based on G.R. Terry’s POAC theory and Edison’s performance theory. The findings show: (1) planning is by the Ministry of Religion regulations; (2) organization involves the designation of a SIMDIK operator, though limited to one person and assisted by other non-permanent personnel; (3) implementation is directed; (4) supervision involves the head of the madrasah, committee, and foundation; (5) main challenges include human resources, infrastructure, funding, and stakeholder support; (6) proposed solutions are a special budget request and honorarium for managers; (7) the use of EMIS-based SIMDIK has contributed to improving madrasah performance. Implications: This study recommends increasing the special budget and recognition systems for SIMDIK managers to improve program effectiveness. Greater stakeholder support is also expected to accelerate progress in madrasah infrastructure and human resource capacity.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI), has significantly transformed the field of education. However, the reality in Islamic schools and pesantren shows that many students remain passive users of technology, utilizing it mainly for entertainment rather than as a tool for learning. Through the program “Santri Al-Ahliyah Embracing AI: Reconstructing the Digital Mindset Towards Excellent Learning Achievement”, this community service project aims to foster a constructive digital mindset among students of MA Al-Ahliyah, enabling them to use AI wisely, productively, and ethically to enhance their academic performance. The program was implemented in three stages: socialization, training, and mentoring. The results indicate an improvement in students’ understanding of AI concepts, greater awareness of the importance of digital literacy, and increased motivation to integrate technology into learning activities while maintaining Islamic values. The satisfaction survey further revealed that most participants perceived the program as highly beneficial, giving high appreciation to the facilitators in terms of mastery of the material, systematic delivery, provision of relevant examples, and encouragement of active participation. This program demonstrates that reconstructing the digital mindset in pesantren can effectively strengthen students’ capacity to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0.Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi digital, khususnya Artificial Intelligence (AI), membawa perubahan besar dalam dunia pendidikan. Namun, realitas di madrasah dan pesantren menunjukkan bahwa santri masih cenderung menjadi pengguna pasif teknologi, lebih banyak memanfaatkannya untuk hiburan daripada pembelajaran. Melalui program “Santri Al-Ahliyah Melek AI: Rekonstruksi Mindset Digital Menuju Prestasi Belajar yang Unggul”, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan membangun mindset digital santri MA Al-Ahliyah agar bijak, produktif, dan etis dalam memanfaatkan AI untuk mendukung prestasi belajar. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui tiga tahap: sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman santri mengenai konsep AI, kesadaran akan pentingnya literasi digital, serta munculnya motivasi baru untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam kegiatan belajar tanpa meninggalkan nilai-nilai keislaman. Hasil survei kepuasan juga menggambarkan bahwa mayoritas peserta menilai kegiatan sangat bermanfaat, dengan apresiasi tinggi terhadap fasilitator dalam penguasaan materi, penyampaian yang sistematis, pemberian contoh konkret, serta mendorong partisipasi aktif. Program ini membuktikan bahwa rekonstruksi mindset digital di pesantren dapat memperkuat kapasitas santri menghadapi era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Society 5.0.
