Abstract

The interaction between the village leader or Lurah and citizens can be regarded as a fundamental process. Because, in this level leaders and the led will be interact intensively. This is in contrast to the higher levels of government, for example, at the district level, the city, even at the national level. At this lowest level, interaction and relations, social control, policies, support, and the rejection of the program will often occur. In the context of the wider innovation, village leaders are also required to develop social capital in managing human resource potential that exists. Therefore, the development of village- based management of village, hence, the development effort is the development that relies on strength, characteristics, and independent initiative of the village.Interaksi antara kepala desa atau lurah dan warga di aras lokal dapat dikatakan sebagai proses yang fundamental. Sebab, pada level inilah pemimpin dan yang dipimpin akan bertemudan saling berinteraksi dan berrelasi secara intensif. Hal ini berbeda dengan level pemerintahan yang lebih tinggi, misalnya pada tingkat kecamatan, kabupaten/kota, bahkan pada level nasional. Pada level terendah inilah, interaksi dan relasi, kontrol sosial, kebijakan, dukungan, maupun penolakan pro-gram akan sering terjadi. Dalam konteks inovasi yang lebih luas, pemimpin-pemimpin desa juga di-tuntut untuk mengembangkan modal sosial dalam mengelola potensi sumber daya manusia yang ada. Sebab, pembangunan desa yang dilakukan berbasis pengelolaan sumber daya desa, maka, pem-bangunan yang diupayakan adalah pembangunan yang mengandalkan pada kekuatan, karakteris-tik, dan inisiatif mandiri desa.

Abstract

Abstrak: Konflik adalah gejala kemasyarakatan yang akan senantiasa melekat dalam kehidupan setiap masyarakat. Oleh karena itu konflik tidak mungkin dilenyapkan (Nasikun, 2003). Sebagai gejala kemasyarakatan yang melekat di dalam kehidupan setiap masyarakat, konflik hanya akan lenyap bersama lenyapnya masyarakat itu sendiri. Oleh karena itu, konflik yang terjadi hanya dapat dikendalikan agar tidak beralih dalam bentuk kekerasan. Seperti konflik nelayan dengan pemerintah yang menentang adanya Peraturan Menteri nomor 2/2015 tentang pelarangan penggunaan cantrang atau pukat bala. Seperti yang terjadi di Kabupaten Batang terdapat aksi protes yang dilakukan oleh nelayan didepan kantor bupati Batang dengan melakukan long march di jalan pantura dekat alun-alun kota Batang yang berakhir dengan sebuah bentrokan dengan aparat kepolisian setempat yang dikarenakan ketidaksetujuan nelayan terhadap peraturan menteri yang dianggap merugikan kaum nelayan. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode metode wawancara mendalam (in-depth interview), observasi dan studi dokumen dengan fokus terkait upaya manajemen konflik sebagai salah satu strategi komunikasi penyelesaian konflik yang efektif.Strategi komunikasi dalam penyelesaian konflik nelayan di pantai utara Kabupaten Batang, dengan mengacu pada beberapa indikator yaitu (1) kepemimpinan yang berupa strategi pemimpin dalam pengelolaan konflik dengan menggunakan bentuk forum terbuka melalui komunikasi secara langsung atau face to face, (2) strategi komunikasi yang digunakan dengan pendekatan komunikasi kelompok dan komunikasi persuasif melalui pelatihan dan penyuluhan sehingga komunikasi interpersonal antara kedua belah pihak dapat berjalan dengan efektif, dan (3) partisipasi masyarakat dalam penyelesaian konflik melalui penyediaan sarana dan prasarana. Kata Kunci: Strategi Komunikasi, Konflik, Nelayan

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether there was a shift in voter preferences between the 2009 legislative election and the 2019 legislative election in Kudus regency. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies. Previously, the author had conducted research on the 2009 legislative election and tried to develop research with the same theme in 2019. The results showed that voter preferences in the 2009 legislative election were influenced by the work program offered, giving a certain amount of money, candidate figures, relationship factors (candidates are friends, relatives, or from the same village as voters), political party preferences, religious/ideological similarity with legislative candidates, form of loyalty to legislative candidates. Political preferences in the 2019 legislative elections in Kudus Regency, however, were influenced by the vision, mission, work programs of legislative candidates, candidate figures, political parties, giving money, advertisements on social media, KPU websites, campaigns through banners and television, family influence, feeling/without being able to give reasons. There was also a shift in voter preferences between 2009 and 2019, namely the technological advances that influenced the development of political advertisements on several social media, internet, and KPU websites that were used by voters, especially novice voters in determining their political choices.

Abstract

Pelatihan dasar jurnalistik dan pelatihan menulis berita di era digital, dengan tujuan mahasiswa dapat menjadi generasi yang unggul dan memiliki kecerdasan dan kreatifitas dalam dunia tulis menulis guna mencapai peradaban yang santun dan unggul. Pelatihan ini melibatkan akademisi dan praktisi jurnalis profesional dari IDN Times yang menyampaikan materi dan pelatihan dengan tema Menjadi Jurnalis Millenial di Era Digital. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa di lingkungan Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan jumlah 145 peserta. Pelatihan Jurnalistik ini didukung oleh mitra yakni dari IDN Times, hal ini dilakukan untuk memperdalam pengetahuan dan praktek mengenai kegiatan jurnalistik. Peran jurnalistik yang paling utama yaitu sebagai pemberi dan penyebar informasi. Melalui kegiatan jurnalistik tersebut masyarakat dapat memperoleh informasi penting, terbaru, dan faktual mengenai suatu peristiwa yang sedang terjadi. Jurnalistik disebut sebagai kegiatan pencarian, pengolahan, penulisan, serta penyebarluasan informasi kepada publik lewat media massa.

Abstract

The challenges of the young generation today are faced with the age of the younger generation itself, where the age of the younger generation is a transitional age from adolescence to adulthood. At this time, of course, the younger generation does not have mature emotional stability, so they are often trapped in situations that lead to deviant behavior, such as drugs, free sex, brawls and other deviant behavior. One solution that can be offered to prevent deviant behavior is through instilling religious values, so this research is urgent to carry out. The aim of this research is to describe how religious organizations implement the cultivation of religious values in an effort to prevent deviant behavior of the younger generation in Wonosobo Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative research approach which includes stages. The stages of this research method include: (1) preparation; (2) data collection; (3) data analysis; and (4) reflection. The results of this research were that at the beginning of its formation, activities were carried out including joint learning across classes and departments. Through weekly overnight shifts at group members' homes. During these rotating stays, activities include visiting local ulama to gain knowledge. When you return from the gathering, you can study together using discussion or question and answer methods. The peak activity is the joint prayer (mujahadah) after the tahajud at midnight. Apart from routine activities, this group also organizes incidental activities involving the general public such as halal bihalal, seminars and commemoration of other Islamic holidays. Perhaps it was unique for a group of students of that age to have the courage to organize activities featuring religious and youth figures at sub-district level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pembingkaian karakter humanis pasangan calon presiden dan wakil presiden Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka (Prabowo-Gibran) dalam Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2024 oleh media massa online di Indonesia. Fokus penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi bagaimana media mengonstruksi citra humanis pasangan ini serta dampaknya terhadap opini publik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis framing model Zhongdang Pan & Gerald Kosicki dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh dari 336 artikel yang dipublikasikan oleh delapan media online terkemuka yaitu: Kompas, Tempo, Detik, Republika, Liputan6, Viva, Sindonews, dan Media Indonesia, selama masa tenang kampanye (31 Januari–13 Februari 2024). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas media membingkai Prabowo-Gibran secara positif dengan menonjolkan karakter humanis, seperti komitmen, tanggung jawab, dan sikap cinta damai. Pembingkaian ini tidak hanya menampilkan sisi kepemimpinan mereka, tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai strategi pencitraan politik untuk membangun kedekatan emosional dengan pemilih. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengungkap adanya bias netralitas media. Hal ini menunjukkan media dapat berperan dalam membentuk persepsi publik dan memengaruhi dinamika demokrasi elektoral.Temuan penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam diskusi mengenai relasi media, politik, dan konstruksi citra kepemimpinan di era digital. Media tidak hanya berperan sebagai penyampai informasi, tetapi juga sebagai aktor yang turut membentuk realitas politik melalui framing tertentu. Penelitian ini juga membuka ruang untuk kajian lebih lanjut mengenai etika jurnalistik, objektivitas media, serta dampak jangka panjang pembingkaian karakter politik terhadap kualitas demokrasi di Indonesia. Dengan demikian, hasil analisis ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi akademisi, praktisi media, dan pemangku kebijakan dalam memahami kompleksitas interaksi antara media dan kekuasaan.

Abstract

The implementation of the Anti-Corruption Village Program initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is analyzed through a comparative study of four villages: Logede Village (Kebumen), Kedungsumber Village (Bojonegoro), Kamang Hilia Nagari (Agam), and Karangsewu Kalurahan (Kulon Progo). This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach based on literature study to illustrate the differences in policies, practices, as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in applying the program’s five key indicators: governance, public services, supervision, community participation, and local wisdom. The analysis shows that the success of the program is strongly influenced by integrity-based leadership, active community involvement, supportive local regulations, and the strengthening of cultural values. Although each village has shown positive achievements, several challenges remain, such as limited technological infrastructure, the absence of specific anti-corruption regulations, and low participation from vulnerable groups. This program proves that eradicating corruption at the village level requires synergy between village governments, the community, and the KPK to foster clean and transparent governance.

Abstract

The internet use in Indonesia, particularly among women, has shown significant growth, with a penetration rate reaching 49.1% in 2024. However, this increase has not been matched by a corresponding rise in digital literacy, especially in discerning accurate information, which remains low among housewives. This is evident from various cases of hoax dissemination where women were the primary perpetrators. To address this issue, this community service initiative focuses on the Muslimat NU group in Sayung District, most of whose members are women over 45 years old and active on social media and messaging apps like WhatsApp and Facebook. This program aims to empower and improve the community's well-being by enhancing digital literacy through social media literacy, particularly in knowledge and competency for older women using social media. This group was selected because its characteristics reflect those of "digital immigrants," who are vulnerable to spreading hoaxes due to limited understanding of information and communication technology (ICT) and reside in an area experiencing a digital divide. The activities were conducted using a Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach, relying on lectures, discussions, and interactive brainstorming sessions with participants. The results showed that the Social Media Literacy Strengthening Program to Avoid Hoaxes for Muslimat NU members in Demak Regency increased participants' awareness and skills, with pretest scores rising from 45% to 53% in posttest results. Thus, this program has provided participants with valuable knowledge to combat the spread of invalid information on social media. Abstrak Penggunaan internet di Indonesia, khususnya di kalangan perempuan, telah menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dengan tingkat penetrasi mencapai 49,1% pada tahun 2024. Namun, peningkatan ini tidak sejalan dengan tingkat literasi digital, khususnya dalam memilah informasi yang akurat, yang masih rendah di kalangan ibu rumah tangga. Hal ini terbukti dari berbagai kasus penyebaran informasi hoaks yang melibatkan perempuan sebagai pelaku utama. Dalam rangka mengatasi masalah ini, pengabdian ini berfokus pada kelompok Muslimat NU Kecamatan Sayung, yang mayoritas anggotanya adalah perempuan berusia di atas 45 tahun dan aktif menggunakan media sosial serta aplikasi pesan seperti WhatsApp dan Facebook. Kelompok ini dipilih karena karakteristiknya yang mencerminkan digital immigrant, yang rentan terhadap penyebaran hoaks karena keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), serta berada di daerah yang mengalami kesenjangan digital. Kegiatan ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan berkonsep Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) yang bertumpu pada ceramah, diskusi, curah pendapat secara interaktif dengan peserta. Hasil Pelaksanan menunjukkan bahwa Program Penguatan Literasi Media Sosial untuk Menghindari Hoaks bagi anggota Muslimat NU di Kabupaten Demak berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan kemampuan peserta dengan prosentase pretest 45% meningkat pada hasil posttest 53%. Sehingga kegiatan ini dapat memberikan pengetahuan bagi peserta dalam menghadapi penyebaran informasi yang tidak valid di media sosial

Abstract

This article focuses on social media activities by beginning voters at SMAN 12 Semarang City for forming their political preferences of the 2024 election. Social media activities are one way to fulfill information needs, including political information, especially ahead of the 2024 election. The purpose of the article is to report the benefits of social media in providing political preferences to beginning voters to determine their choice in the 2024 election. The method of implementing this activity is carried out socialization to class XII students. The output of this activity is in increasing beginning voters' knowledge of political actors participating in the election through the use of social media.

Abstract

Community service activities in tourism village education were conducted to provide assistance and foster innovations, particularly those based on community participation. The limited involvement of Karang Taruna Sari Muda Manunggal in optimizing the existing tourism potential highlighted the necessity for such activities. Therefore, the community service team organized workshops featuring professional practitioners from Padjer School, an independent organization addressing public issues related to tourism village development. These workshops aimed to enhance community engagement and develop sustainable tourism innovations. The results demonstrated that collaborative participation played a significant role in improving the effectiveness of tourism village development. In conclusion, community assistance involving active public participation was found to accelerate the achievement of sustainable tourism development goals.
