Abstract

The process of running a trading business, businesses must always update information on market competition that occurs. Running a trading business is not just opening a business place and waiting for consumers to shop. Consumers will lightly come to shopping places to shop for various reasons. From cheap prices, attractive arrangements, large parking lots, to the ease of finding items to buy. From these problems, business people will compete on how to easily attract customers to their place of business.One way to solve these problems is by structuring merchandise with the aim of customers to easily get the items they are looking for. Arrangements that are made do not originate from arranging the location of goods according to taste but are carried out on the basis of trends or trends in goods purchased by consumers when shopping. This process is often referred to as the "Data Mining" process is one of the effective methods for finding consumers' preferences to choose the items they buy. This process can be completed using the Apriori algorithm. The principle used by the Apriori algorithm is that if an itemset appears frequently, then all subset of itemset must also appear frequently. This results in repeated checking and will require a short time. Problems that require a short time, a method is proposed, namely by developing to be able to reduce the travel time of the process. The length of time that occurs in the process of calculating the value of support and confidance and the repetition process to find the value. The method used is to manipulate the use of query languages with a k-way join research approach so that the optimal query language arrangement can be obtained. The results obtained in this study are that execution times are relatively faster, with the results of the same association rules as those produced by the Priori method without any development or modification.

Abstract

Angkraaf culture and culinary cafe is a cafe located in Yogyakarta, this cafe is often visited by students. Cafe reservation is the process of ordering or providing seats at a cafe for customers who want to visit and enjoy cafe services. In an era where busy and fast-paced lifestyles are becoming increasingly common, cafe reservations have become an essential necessity for many people who want to guarantee a seat at angkraaf culture and culinary cafes. The current cafe reservation process still uses the manual method which can take quite a long time. In this method, customers must contact the cafe directly by phone or come to the cafe to make a reservation. This can cause customers to have difficulty contacting the cafe when it is busy or when the cafe is closed. there is a risk of errors or overlapping reservations. Cafe staff may experience errors in recording customer information or skip incoming reservations altogether. This can result in dissatisfied customers who arrive at the cafe and find that the table they were expecting is not available. To overcome this problem, the café is considering creating a website-based cafe reservation system. By utilizing this technology, cafes can increase efficiency, increase accessibility, and provide a better reservation experience to customers.

Abstract

Human resources management is a vital component within any organization, serving as a valuable asset and a driving force. However, many companies face challenges when it comes to managing employee data, processing leave requests, and generating accurate salary reports, often relying on cumbersome manual processes. This research aims to address these challenges by implementing a REST API (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface) in a web-based human resources application. The REST API is carefully built using the Laravel framework, adhering to REST architecture principles to ensure security during internet-based information exchange. The development methodology employed for this application is the waterfall method, a sequential and structured approach to software development. Through these enhancements, this application is expected to significantly assist HR departments in efficiently managing employee data, expediting leave request processing, and simplifying the generation of comprehensive reports. The anticipated outcomes of this research are expected to equip HR professionals with the necessary tools to efficiently navigate these intricate tasks, ultimately enhancing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

The use of motorcycles as a means of personal transportation is a practical and easy-to-use transportation option in various crowded road conditions. In general, vehicle security systems are still very weak, and additional security systems are needed to prevent theft, especially in older vehicles. To increase security on motorbikes, researchers developed a security system that can monitor the location of motorbikes that can be monitored and controlled via an Android application. In making this prototype, the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller as the Internet of Things (IoT), Ublox Neo-6M GPS module, and relays to control motorcycle electricity. The GPS module is used to determine the location based on the latitude and longitude of the motorcycle directly and will be sent to the server and then displayed through the Android application. In addition to displaying location coordinates, this application can also control motorcycle electricity with NodeMCU ESP8266 to activate relays connected to motorcycle electricity to function as turning on or off the motorcycle engine and there is a location history menu obtained from the GPS module.

Abstract

The progress of land transportation, especially motorized vehicles, has a great influence on people's welfare. Currently motorized vehicles have a large contribution to the development of transportation in Indonesia. The increasing number of vehicles always results in problems such as flat tires, running out of petrol or breaking down and the number of these incidents always increases. When problems occur on the highway, drivers always have difficulty finding locations and information about relevant places in order to ask for help with the problems they are facing. This research aims to enable motorized vehicle users to have an Android-based mobile application that is useful for providing location information and related parties to speed up the rescue process. The application that will be developed has a emergency call feature for users to service providers or relevant locations according to the driver's problem. Not only that, this system is also a business platform for those who want to join the merchant feature in it. In this mobile application study, the author will utilize the Google Maps API so that he can search and recommend the nearest place for motorists to seek help. This research was carried out from the analysis, design, implementation, to testing stages.

Abstract

Online buying and selling (e-commerce) is one of the fastest-growing businesses that offers various conveniences. Ease for consumers in buying and selling transactions that can be done anytime, anywhere. The development of ecommerce in Indonesia is marked by the increasing number of e-commerce. Currently, there are still many clothing buying and selling businesses that still use manual methods in the buying and selling process, namely the buying and selling transaction data has not followed the transaction process like e-commerce that is developing at this time, such as payment and product selection is still manual so that consumers in making transactions are not given good service by the seller. So it is necessary to build an application system that can improve services and ease of transactions, in this case, building an online android-based e-commerce application with the aim of helping in the buying and selling transaction process so that it is easier like a growing online business today. Tests that have been carried out in applications help in the transaction process, and product data is loaded in the form of catalogs, sales, payments, payment verification, and receipt input can be done in the application. Admins input products in the application as a catalog and process consumer orders in the application, and consumers can make transactions like other ecommerce in the application.

Abstract

Proses perencanaan pernikahan seringkali memakan waktu dan membingungkan bagi calon pengantin karena mereka harus mencari informasi tentang layanan wedding organizer secara manual. Dampaknya adalah kesulitan dalam menemukan layanan yang sesuai, yang dapat menyebabkan stres tambahan dan kebingungan selama proses perencanaan pernikahan, sementara wedding organizer juga mungkin kehilangan peluang bisnis karena kurangnya eksposur kepada calon pelanggan. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini mengusulkan pengembangan aplikasi portal dan pemesanan wedding organizer berbasis web dan mobile. Metode pengembangan melibatkan analisis kebutuhan pengguna, desain antarmuka pengguna yang intuitif, dan implementasi teknologi informasi. Langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat memudahkan calon pengantin dalam menelusuri informasi tentang layanan wedding organizer dan melakukan pemesanan secara efisien. Hasil sementara menunjukkan bahwa analisis kebutuhan pengguna telah selesai, dan desain awal antarmuka pengguna telah disusun. Pengembangan aplikasi telah dimulai, dengan beberapa prototipe awal yang berhasil dibuat untuk pengujian dan evaluasi lebih lanjut. Diharapkan bahwa aplikasi ini akan menjadi solusi yang efektif bagi calon pengantin dalam merencanakan pernikahan mereka dengan lebih lancar dan efisien.

Abstract

Film is an audiovisual media that not only serves as entertainment, but can also provide information and touch the emotions of its audience. In the development of the digital era, people tend to use social media to search for films that are popular or trending. One platform that is often used for this purpose is Twitter, which in July 2023 changed its name to ‘X’. This research discusses the sentiment analysis of the film Kartini on the X social media platform, which tells the story of R.A. Kartini's struggle for the rights of Indonesian women. The film became a topic of conversation with various opinions, both positive and negative, circulating on the platform. The amount of public sentiment often creates confusion for potential viewers in determining whether the film is worth watching. These varying views on the film can affect viewers' perceptions, which in turn risks creating a disappointing viewing experience and making viewers feel that the time spent was not worthwhile. Therefore, the researcher aims to classify the sentiment of platform X users towards the film Kartini using the Naive Bayes Classifier method, which works based on Bayes' Theorem to predict the probability of an event based on previous data. This method was chosen due to its ability to efficiently classify sentiment into positive or negative categories. Temporary results on testing data using the naive bayes algorithm and python programming language obtained very good results. The best accuracy result of the emotion dataset obtained is 98% and the best accuracy of the sentiment dataset obtained is 86%.

Abstract

The Palestinian-Israeli conflict, particularly in Rafah City, Gaza Strip, has drawn global attention due to escalating violence, prompting widespread responses on X social media. This study analyses public sentiment on the topic ‘Eyes on Rafah’ using 403 tweets, with 306 classified as positive and 94 as negative. This study aims to analyse the world's response to the prolonged conflict To evaluate these sentiments, Text Mining techniques were applied, comparing the performance of Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes algorithms. SMOTE optimisation was implemented to address data imbalance and enhance algorithm performance. Findings reveal that the SVM algorithm achieved superior results with 97% accuracy, precision of 97%, recall of 100%, and F1-Score of 98%, compared to Naïve Bayes with 86% accuracy, precision of 100%, recall of 75%, and F1-Score of 85%. These results highlight the effectiveness of SVM in analysing sentiment and the critical role of SMOTE in improving classification accuracy for both algorithms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengembangkan situs web untuk klub Airsoft Black Arrow di Yogyakarta guna memfasilitasi pengelolaan data dan aktivitas komunitas. Airsoft, olahraga simulasi militer, sering disalahpahami sebagai aktivitas berbahaya. Oleh karena itu, situs web ini juga bertujuan mengedukasi masyarakat tentang aturan main, regulasi hukum, dan tata cara bermain yang aman. Metode penelitian melibatkan identifikasi masalah melalui observasi dan wawancara, analisis kebutuhan sistem, serta pengujian menggunakan pendekatan black-box. Situs web yang dihasilkan memiliki fitur-fitur seperti jadwal kegiatan, pendaftaran anggota, manajemen profil, pengajuan surat jalan, dan informasi mendalam tentang airsoft. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan situs web mampu mempermudah manajemen klub dan akses informasi bagi anggota. Pengujian memastikan seluruh fitur berfungsi sesuai kebutuhan. Selain itu, situs ini meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap airsoft, mencegah penyalahgunaan, dan mendukung pengelolaan komunitas dengan lebih efisien. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan situs ini tidak hanya mempermudah manajemen internal klub tetapi juga menjadi alat edukasi untuk mengubah persepsi masyarakat, menjadikan airsoft sebagai hobi yang aman dan sesuai regulasi.
