Abstract

Empowerment is a process of being empowered, having the strength, ability and energy to master something. As a process, empowerment is the first step for people who are powerless to become empowered where people can have strength, ability and master something that can empower their lives, both personally, in their families and in society. Empowerment of coastal communities is expected to be more empowering and improve welfare. In order to improve the community's economy and improve the Human Resources (HR) of fishing communities, of course empowerment programs must exist and be implemented to reach the fishing communities. This research aims to analyze the economic empowerment of coastal communities in Perlis Village, West Brandan District, Langkat Regency with an Enabling, Empowering and Protecting approach. The research method used is qualitative. The results of this research are that Perlis Village, with the majority working as fishermen, has potential, namely processed products from the sea in the form of sea salt, shrimp paste (belacan), and salted fish. The proceeds from sales of these products can help society improve welfare. Furthermore, fishermen who used to work in the sea looking for fish now concentrate on cultivating mud crabs and overseeing ecotourism, although there is still mangrove tourism in the area. These potentials still need to continue to be developed with the empowerment program implemented by the Perlis Village government. Regional government has four roles in community empowerment. First, the role of government regulators is to set rules to balance development implementation. Second, the government functions as a dynamist by encouraging the participation of various parties when the development process stops (encouraging and maintaining the dynamics of regional development). Third, the government functions as a facilitator by creating conducive conditions for the implementation of development (bridging the interests of various parties in optimizing regional development). Fourth, the government functions as a catalyst by encouraging the participation of various parties when the development process is stagnant.

Abstract

Loyalty is a customer's attachment to a product or service, measured by repeat purchases. Customer loyalty has an important role in the company. Maintaining them means improving financial performance and maintaining the viability of a company. This is the main reason for a company to attract and retain customers. The purpose of this study was to determine the agent's strategy in forming customer trust and loyalty towards repurchase intentions. To clarifyy thesee problems in depth and comprehensively, the researchers used qualitativee researchh withh data colllection methods inn thee formm of interviews andd observations. Basedd onn thee resultss of the studyy indicate thatt thee strategy to maintain customer loyalty at PT Sun Life Financial Unit Syariah Medan Branch can be said to be in accordance with the strategy in general. But in reality there are several strategies that fail to maintain customer loyalty.

When a disaster occurs to the insured, such as an accident, the insured or the customer will submit a claim, so there are often misunderstandingsAbetween the insuredAand the insurer. Abstract

This article aims to analyze the contribution of Islamic higher education institutions in the development of Islamic banks in Medan City. The development of Islamic banks over the past five years can be seen in the financial reports which have increased but not accompanied by an increase in the market share of Islamic banks and are still lagging behind other Muslim-majority countries. Islamic higher education institutions which are educational institutions required to contribute to the development of Islamic banks. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that Islamic tertiary institutions, namely UINSU and UMSU, have contributed to the development of Islamic banks in the city of Medan by: increasing the number of customers, providing human resources and increasing cooperation networks, these contributions show that UINSU and UMSU have made various efforts to help development of sharia banks in the form of cooperation, namely: Payment of student tuition fees, payment of lecturer salaries and allowances, apprenticeships for students and opening of mini-banks within universities.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan dampak yang signifikan pada berbagai sektor, termasuk pelayanan kesehatan. BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Padang Sidempuan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi, seperti aplikasi Mobile JKN, untuk meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi dan kualitas layanan. Implementasi aplikasi ini mempermudah proses pendaftaran, pengubahan data, dan akses informasi secara daring, sehingga mampu mengurangi waktu pelayanan dan meningkatkan kenyamanan peserta.Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan literasi digital pada sebagian peserta dan fitur aplikasi yang belum sepenuhnya optimal. Kesulitan dalam memanfaatkan aplikasi lebih sering dialami oleh peserta yang kurang familiar dengan teknologi atau berada di daerah dengan akses terbatas. Selain itu, pentingnya penguatan sistem verifikasi identitas menjadi perhatian untuk mencegah penyalahgunaan kartu BPJS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknologi informasi memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi sekaligus memperkuat pengalaman peserta dalam mengakses layanan. Pengembangan fitur aplikasi, edukasi literasi digital, dan peningkatan keamanan sistem direkomendasikan untuk mendukung transformasi layanan kesehatan yang lebih inklusif dan responsif.
