Abstract

Purpose – This research aims to conduct an initial assessment of students' attitudes in high school, with a focus on Islamic education, which is one of the benchmarks in soft skills development activities. Design/methods/approach – This study uses research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) with three stages in it, namely the preliminary, development, and testing stages. To increase students' soft skills, an infographic-based Islamic Religious Education teaching material was designed in this study. Findings – According to preliminary research conducted at senior high schools in Surakarta with class XI subjects, Islamic learning does not provide opportunities for students to improve their soft skills. This is requiring the development of learning tools, one of which is infographic-based teaching materials, to assist in achieving the expected competencies. Research limitations – This study focuses on acquiring Islamic education in high school, with a focus on the limitations of development in teaching materials that affect students' ability to obtain competencies in the form of soft skills. Originality/value – A preliminary investigation into the development of teaching materials in Islamic education courses, namely for senior secondary school, was studied further in this study. The development of soft skills is one of the things that is actively supported in the development of character education in Indonesian schools.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the skills of elementary school (MI) teachers in developing e-modules using formative assessment tools for reading and writing learning. The mentoring activity was carried out in Malo District, Bojonegoro Regency, involving the Elementary School Teacher Working Group (KKG-MI). This mentoring focused on training in making interactive e-modules using the Canva application and integrating formative evaluation tools such as quizzes and practice questions. In addition, teachers were also trained to convert e-modules into flipbook format using the Heyzine application, in order to increase the interactivity and attractiveness of learning. The results of this activity indicate that MI teachers in Malo District have new abilities in designing e-modules that are effective and interesting for students, and the application of formative assessment tools in e-modules allows teachers to evaluate student understanding more measurably. The results of this study have been able to realize the targets and objectives in community service, namely a) improving the competence of MI teachers in using e-modules, b) encouraging the implementation of a structured reading-to-write learning model, and c) introducing and optimizing the use of formative assessment tools. Based on these results, this community service is able to increase student motivation in learning to read and write as well as improving technological skills for teachers. This activity is expected to be continued and expanded to other areas to support improving the quality of technology-based education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

Today's education requires teachers to provide learning that can utilize technology appropriately because, in this era of globalization, technology has become very important and cannot be separated from daily human life. So, teachers need to apply appropriate technology to assist the process of learning and improve learning efficacy, including using electronic devices. The Flipbook-based digital learning module is an achievement system that has been selected in light of developing a more efficient and effective education system. On that basis, the central theme of using a teaching system with Flipbook-based modules is to increase student learning motivation so that students become motivated and enthusiastic and can actively participate in learning. This research uses the R&D (Research & Development) research method. Analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation are the five phases that make up the ADDIE development model. The research results show that the Flipbook-based digital learning module is very suitable for use, with media expert assessment results of 92.5 percent and material experts 100 percent. Additionally, the findings of the student's learning motivation questionnaire indicate a relationship between digital learning modules and students' motivation to study.

Abstract

Literacy is the foundation of education; it allows students to understand, evaluate, and communicate information effectively. However, many challenges arise in developing these skills, including limited access to adequate reading materials, ineffective teaching methods, and insufficient support and motivation from the surrounding environment. This research aims to develop a learning path in literacy learning, especially reading-to-write, based on e-modules with formative assessment tools. The development of learning paths in e-module-based reading-to-write learning with formative assessment tools is carried out using the ADDIE development model. This research began with a needs analysis to identify gaps in literacy learning. The e-module design and formative assessment tools are designed to provide a clear structure and continuous feedback to students. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be seen that the feasibility test results obtained an average value of 95.14%. These results show that the EXOOCO-2R learning path, formulated as an e-module, is considered very suitable for use, and this is in line with students' positive response to the learning path, with 68% included in the good category.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemulihan bisnis PT Zenius Education setelah penutupan sementara operasional pada awal tahun 2024. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, berdasarkan data sekunder seperti artikel berita, laporan industri, dan publikasi resmi perusahaan. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan kerangka SWOT, TOWS, dan IE Matrix. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Zenius memiliki kekuatan internal yang solid, seperti brand awareness yang tinggi dan platform teknologi yang matang, namun juga menghadapi kelemahan signifikan, seperti tingginya biaya operasional dan strategi monetisasi yang belum optimal. Peluang dari pertumbuhan industri edtech dan potensi kolaborasi B2B dapat dimanfaatkan untuk memperkuat posisi pasar. Berdasarkan IE Matrix, Zenius berada pada Kuadran V yang menunjukkan strategi “Hold and Maintain”. Oleh karena itu, strategi yang disarankan adalah memanfaatkan kekuatan yang ada, meningkatkan efisiensi operasional, dan mengembangkan layanan baru secara selektif untuk mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis jangka panjang. Kata Kunci: Edtech, IE Matrix, Strategi Pemulihan, TOWS Matrix, Zenius. Abstract

Salah satu tantangan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran dalam pendidikan berkebutuhan khusus adalah aksesibilitas, di mana siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus menghadapi kesulitan untuk mengakses sumber daya dan teknologi yang diperlukan untuk pembelajaran. Dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan terkait pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pendidikan inklusif yang memiliki potensi untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas, diferensiasi, dan keterlibatan siswa dengan kebutuhan khusus. Dalam penelitian ini, metode descriptive literature review digunakan untuk menganalisis pengembangan dan implementasi E-Learning yang disesuaikan untuk SNE. Hasil penelitian ini mencakup analisis mengenai pengembangan solusi E-Learning SNE dan faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasinya. Dalam hal ini, faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan E-Learning SNE meliputi analisis kebutuhan siswa berkebutuhan khusus, desain konten E-Learning yang disesuaikan, dan pengembangan platform E-learning yang responsif. Selain itu, dalam keberhasilan implementasinya dipengaruhi oleh pelatihan guru dan staf, integrasi solusi E-Learning dalam kurikulum, serta teknologi, infrastruktur, dan lingkungan pendidikan yang menunjang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi E-Learning untuk pendidikan berkebutuhan khusus menjadi solusi yang menarik dan membutuhkan perhatian terhadap berbagai aspek yang meliputi tantangan dan peluang terutama dalam pengembangan platform E-learning yang responsif yang mampu menyesuaikan diri dengan berbagai perangkat dan lingkungan belajar, serta memenuhi kebutuhan belajar yang beragam.
