Abstract

This research used fish waste as a raw material and inoculum cow-dung as a starter to produce biogas. It was calculated the weight of total solid and volatile total solid for the right amount of substrate to be incorporate into the digesters. The variation of 5g, 6g, 7g, 8g, 9g and 10g of volatile total solid was mixed with the inoculum cow-dung 100ml and water as the rest, which was filled up to 300ml of the total volume of slurry. Two digesters with amount of 100ml inoculum cow-dung and 200ml water were used as the comparison. This research was conducted for 30 days and it was measuring pressure in digesters, temperature and pH, which was conditioned once a week with NaOH or H2SO4. The best result can be seen in the variation of 5g fish waste as a substrate. The volume in the digester is 93.93ml/gVS with percentage levels of CH4 by 51% and CO2 by 47%.

Abstract

Penukar panas adalah perangkat yang mentransfer panas antara dua cairan suhu yang berbeda secara paralel atau berlawanan arah aliran. Pada pengaturan aliran paralel, fluida panas dan dingin mengalir dengan arah aliran yang sama, sedangkan pada pengaturan aliran berlawanan arah alirannya berlawanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbandingan efektifitas susunan penukar panas paralel dan counter flow. Fluida panas dan fluida dingin diatur memiliki laju alir yang sama yaitu 3000 cm3/menit, sedangkan fluida panas diatur temperaturnya menjadi 40oC dan 30oC untuk fluida dingin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengaturan penukar panas aliran berlawanan memiliki efektivitas yang lebih baik daripada pengaturan aliran paralel. Penukar panas aliran counter dan paralel telah memberikan efektivitas masing-masing 0,399 dan 0,0299. A heat exchanger is a device that transfer heat between two different temperature fluids in parallel or counter flow direction. In the parallel flow arrangement, the hot and cold fluids flowing in the same flow direction, while in the counter flow arrangement, it flows in opposite direction. The research was conducted to determine the effectiveness comparison of the parallel and counter flow heat exchanger arrangement. The hot and cold fluids has been set to have the same flow rate of 3000 cm3/minute, meanwhile the hot fluids temperature is set to be 40oC and 30oC for the cold fluids. The result shows that the counter flow heat exchanger arrangement has better effectiveness than that of parallel flow arrangement. The counter and parallel flow heat exchanger has provided the effectiveness of  0.399 and 0.0299 respectively.

Abstract

The generation of electrical energy from fossil fuels is currently running low, besides that it can cause global warming due to gas emissions such as carbon dioxide. Besides that, the development of small portable equipment such as watches, handphones, and cameras, requires batteries with small power. Therefore, environmentally friendly materials on a small scale are needed to generate electricity, one of which is coconut shell-activated carbon. The purpose of this research is to generate a voltage from a model using activated coconut shell carbon with a water-electrolyte. The model consists of a counter electrode-electrode counter. The counter electrodes are varied, namely aluminum, zinc, and copper. The electrode used is coconut shell-activated carbon, while the electrolyte is distilled water. The electrolyte is injected into the model between the electrode and the counter electrode and then given the heat. When the electrolyte is injected into the model, electrostatic forces occur between the functional groups, the pores on the surface of the activated carbon, the counter electrode, and the water-electrolyte, resulting in the release of electrons. The results show that the voltage generated by heating to a temperature rise of ΔT = 54 ͦC is 0.795 volts for aluminum counter electrodes, while zinc reaches 0.597 volts and copper reaches 0.034 volts. While the average thermal sensitivity of the resulting voltage (dV/dT) for aluminum is 47.85707 mV/ ͦ C, while zinc is 39.15949 mV/ ͦC, and copper is 1.72348 mV/ ͦC.

Abstract

In this case, Doni Salmanan was reported for the Quotex platform trading fraud case on february 3 2022. Doni Salmanan was reported to the Police Criminal Investigation Unit on suspicion of fraudulent investments. The report on Doni Salmanan is registered in the police report (LP) number LP: B/0059/II/2022/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI. LP was made on February 3 2022 by the reporter with the initials RA. The research uses a normative method which focuses on the study of legal principles. We focus on how the OJK institution monitors the implementation of P2P lending in Indonesia and analyzes legal problems, with the emergence of illegal P2P lending practices which are legally detrimental to consumers. From the analysis above, it can be concluded that the OJK's role in handling fraudulent investment cases in Indonesia has a significant influence, but there are several factors that can influence its effectiveness. The Quotex fraudulent investment case carried out by Doni Salmanan shows that state institutions that have the authority to supervise do not carry out their functions thoroughly, which has led to many fraudulent investment cases occurring in Indonesia. OJK must be able to carry out its role as a preventive measure for the many cases of fraudulent investment in Indonesia.

Abstract

Penerapan energi fotovoltaik (PV) saat ini sangat masif dikarenakan hemat dan pengimplementasian energi baru terbarukan. Dalam penggunaan PV peningkatan suhu berpengaruh terhadap daya listrik yang dihasilkan secara optimal. Salah satu cara untuk menurunkan suhu PV yaitu dengan optimasi desain pada saluran pendingin. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah three-factor factorial design dimana variabel yang diatur adalah diameter sebesar 1,5 inci; 2 inci; dan 2,5 inci dan kecepatan aliran inlet sebesar 0,5 ; 0,6 ; dan 0,7 , menggunakan CFD beserta perhitungan analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pada pengaturan konfigurasi diameter 2,5 inci dengan kecepatan 0,7 m/s menghasilkan suhu rata-rata sebesar 30,188 ℃ sedangkan pada konfigurasi 1,5 inci dengan kecepatan 0,5 m/s dengan menghasilkan suhu rata-rata sebesar 36,664 ℃. Suhu menjadi lebih rendah dengan konfigurasi diameter pipa yang semakin besar serta penggunaan kecepatan fluida semakin tinggi.

Abstract

The application of photovoltaic energy (PV) is currently very massive due to the savings and implementation of new and renewable energy. In the use of PV, an increase in temperature affects the optically generated electrical power. One way to reduce the PV temperature is by optimizing the design of the cooling channel. The method used in this research is a three-factor factorial design where the variable that is set is a diameter of 1.5 inches; 2 inches; and 2.5 inches and an inlet flow rate of 0.5 ; 0.6 ; and 0.7 , using CFD along with analytical calculations. The results showed that the 2.5 inch diameter configuration with a speed of 0.7 m/s produced an average temperature of 30.188 ℃ while the 1.5 inch configuration with a speed of 0.5 m/s produced an average temperature of 36.664℃. The temperature becomes lower with the larger pipe diameter configuration and the use of higher fluid velocity
