Abstract

This study offers a Decision Support System (DSS) that uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to help youngsters choose appropriate television programs. The system is intended to provide parents with a simple and easy-to-implement option for controlling their children's television viewing habits. Its goal is to keep youngsters from imitating unwanted behaviors and to protect them from the detrimental effects of television material. The proposed DSS delivers critical information to allow interactive decision-making, ensuring that users have easy access to the information they require and can make well-informed decisions. The AHP methodology, a decision-making strategy that incorporates pairwise evaluations of selection criteria and available program options, is used in the system's implementation. AHP is particularly successful in solving multi-criteria problems, allowing for the prioritization and ranking of choices based on the research criteria. This study highlights the importance of the DSS in assisting parents in making educated decisions about their children's television programming, resulting in a safer and more educational viewing environment.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga akan mengurangi pengeluaran keluarga karena dapat membantu keluarga dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan. Pekarangan merupakan sebidang tanah di sekitar rumah yang masih diusahakan secara sambilan. Pekarangan kebanyakan saling berdekatan dan bersama-sama membentuk kampung, dukuh atau desa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Desa Kelambir V Kebon Desa Kelambir V Kebon Kecamatan Hamparan Perak Kabupaten Deli Serdang oleh tim pelaksana UNPAB dapat memberikan manfaat kepada masyarakat dalam prospek pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan. Adapun manfaat yang dirasakan adalah masyarakat sekitar tidak perlu lagi membeli sayuran dipasar sehingga dapat menurangi pengeluaran belanja. Masyarakat dapat menghias pekarangan mereka akan tanaman sayuran organik sehingga memperindah khususnya pekarangan rumah dan membantu perekonomian

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keamanan jaringan komputer di lingkungan kafe dengan menerapkan metode DNS over HTTPS (DoH) dan mengatasi masalah ARP Spoofing, mengingat risiko seperti pencurian data dan gangguan yang dapat merugikan pengguna tanpa sepengetahuan mereka. Jaringan internet publik, termasuk yang ada di lingkungan kafe, sering kali menjadi target serangan yang mengancam integritas data, seperti ARP Spoofing yang memanipulasi tabel ARP untuk merusak komunikasi jaringan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada penerapan DoH, yang mengenkripsi permintaan DNS untuk melindungi informasi pengguna dari penyadapan dan manipulasi pihak tidak berwenang. Implementasi DoH bertujuan untuk memperkuat keamanan komunikasi DNS dengan mengamankan data yang dikirimkan antara komputer dan server DNS, serta mengurangi kerentanan terhadap serangan man in the middle (MITM) dan spoofing lainnya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengevaluasi dan menawarkan solusi deteksi ARP Spoofing untuk memperkuat perlindungan jaringan dari serangan tersebut. Metode penelitian melibatkan simulasi topologi jaringan di kafe Kome Katamso Medan, menggunakan perangkat keras seperti Laptop Compaq CQ40 dan LAN Card, serta perangkat lunak seperti Ettercap-NG-0.7.3 untuk sniffing paket dan Netstumbler untuk pemantauan wifi. Hasil implementasi DoH menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keamanan komunikasi antara komputer dan server DNS, serta peningkatan kecepatan akses situs web. Enkripsi yang diterapkan oleh DoH terbukti efektif dalam mengurangi kerentanan terhadap serangan MITM dan spoofing lainnya, serta memastikan bahwa hanya pengguna dan server DNS yang dapat mengakses informasi DNS. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penerapan DoH dan solusi deteksi ARP Spoofing secara signifikan meningkatkan keamanan jaringan di lingkungan kafe, memberikan perlindungan tambahan terhadap serangan yang dapat merusak integritas data.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has significantly impacted the field of education, particularly in the implementation of online learning (e-learning). This study aims to design and develop a web-based e-learning system for online courses using the Laravel framework. The system is designed to facilitate interactive learning between instructors and course participants, featuring user management (admin, teacher, student), course management, learning materials, payment transactions, and student progress tracking. The system development methodology follows the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) approach, which includes requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing stages. Laravel was chosen as the framework because it supports structured, secure, and efficient web application development. The result of this research is a responsive and user-friendly e-learning system that effectively supports distance learning. This system is expected to serve as an alternative solution for providing an online course learning platform that is flexible and accessible anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

History learning in museums is generally still dominated by conventional information delivery through text labels and verbal explanations, which tends to be less engaging for the digital generation. This study aims to develop and evaluate the feasibility of an Augmented Reality (AR)–based learning media application for introducing historical objects at the Deli Serdang Museum on Android devices. A research and development (R&D) approach was employed using the Waterfall software development model, consisting of requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing. Data were collected through literature review, observation and documentation of museum collections, and interviews with museum staff. The system was designed using UML and implemented with Unity, Vuforia, and 3D object modelling. Functional testing was carried out using black box testing, while an initial feasibility test involved 10 respondents who completed a questionnaire on system performance and user experience. The results show that all core features (marker detection, 3D object display, rotation and zoom functions, and menu navigation) operated according to specification without critical errors. Most respondents stated that the application is easy to use, visually attractive, and helpful in understanding the museum’s historical collections. Therefore, the developed AR application is considered feasible as a supplementary learning medium at the Deli Serdang Museum and has the potential to be extended to other museum contexts
