Abstract

This article delves into the pivotal role of Human-Centered Design (HCD) in logo development, specifically tailored for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) situated in Pematang Serai Village. Recognizing the essence of building a robust brand image, the study explores how HCD principles influence the entire process of logo design, from conceptualization to implementation. The exploration begins by emphasizing the iterative and user-centric nature of HCD, which ensures continuous refinement of logos based on user feedback. Visual elements are dissected for their impact on audience perception, acknowledging logos as significant visual cues influencing consumer behavior. Cultural considerations take center stage as the study draws insights from cross-national logo evaluation analysis, emphasizing the need to tailor logos to specific cultural contexts. This is particularly relevant for SMEs in Pematang Serai Village, ensuring resonance with the local community. The article concludes by offering actionable recommendations for SMEs, advocating for a continued user-centric approach, emphasis on visual appeal, cultural sensitivity, iterative refinement, and strategic logo implementation. It underscores the importance of these principles in creating logos that not only visually captivate but also emotionally connect with the target audience, thereby contributing to sustained business success

Abstract

Pengenalan dan implementasi teknologi modern di lingkungan pendidikan merupakan langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas dalam manajemen sekolah. Kegiatan pelatihan dan implementasi sistem absensi sekolah berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan teknologi Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) di SMK Putra Anda Binjai bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman serta keterampilan praktis kepada tenaga pendidik dan staf sekolah dalam memanfaatkan teknologi tersebut untuk sistem absensi yang lebih efisien. Program pelatihan ini mencakup pengenalan dasar mengenai teknologi IoT dan RFID, penjelasan tentang cara kerja sistem absensi berbasis RFID, serta tahapan implementasinya di lingkungan sekolah. Peserta diberikan materi teoritis serta praktik langsung terkait pengoperasian dan pemeliharaan sistem. Dengan penerapan sistem absensi berbasis IoT dan RFID, proses pencatatan kehadiran siswa diharapkan menjadi lebih cepat, akurat, dan dapat diintegrasikan dengan sistem informasi sekolah lainnya. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami konsep dasar dan teknis dari sistem absensi ini serta menunjukkan kesiapan untuk mengimplementasikannya di SMK Putra Anda Binjai. Program ini diharapkan menjadi model percontohan bagi sekolah lain dalam mengadopsi teknologi modern guna meningkatkan kualitas manajemen pendidikan.

Abstract

School libraries play an important role in supporting the learning process, especially at the elementary school level. As a learning resource center, the library provides a variety of reading materials that support the learning activities of both students and teachers. However, library management that is still carried out manually—such as recording book loans and returns using logbooks—often causes several problems, including recording errors, delays in data searches, and difficulties in report preparation. This condition requires a technology-based solution that can improve the efficiency and accuracy of library data management. This study aims to design and develop a web-based library information system to be used at SD Negeri 028303 Binjai Barat. The development method used is the prototyping model, which allows users to provide direct feedback on the early version (prototype) of the system being developed. This method was chosen to ensure the system truly aligns with users' needs in the field. The system includes key features such as user login, book data management, member data management, loan and return transactions, as well as automated transaction reporting. The implementation results show that the system functions well as expected. It is capable of speeding up library services, minimizing recording errors, and providing convenience for staff and students in accessing information. Therefore, the implementation of this web-based library information system can significantly improve the quality of library services and support a more effective teaching and learning process at SD Negeri 028303 Binjai Barat.

Abstract

Business competition in the field of information technology continues to increase, one of the technologies itself is cloud computing. Cloud computing can be public or private. One type of cloud computing service used in this study is PaaS. The PaaS cloud computing service provides a platform that users can use to create applications. The Byna Cake shop is a shop that opens a cake business in Aceh, which is located on Pulau Tiga, Aceh, Tamiang. This shop sells various types of cakes which have been produced manually by themselves since 2021. The sales system uses WhatsApp and Instagram media and comes directly to the store, so this system is considered to be less effective and efficient. Therefore, an online sales system is needed, namely by building a web-based E-Commerce application. In implementing this web-based e-commerce application, the author utilizes cloud infrastructure as a cloud provider, namely Microsoft Azure. Computing service used in this research is CMS AbanteCart. Web-based e-commerce application at the Byna Cake store created by configuring a virtual machine to install CMS AbanteCart Packaged By Bitnami on the Microsoft Azure platform. The design used in creating web-based e-commerce applications at the Byna Cake store uses Use Cases and Class Diagrams.

Abstract

Dengan semakin berkembangnya teknologi informasi serta pemanfaatan media informasi, maka pada Prorgram Belajar Merdeka-Kampus Merdeka atau (MBKM) akan dilakukan pembauatan website program studi akuntansi Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi Medan dengan menggunakan PHP dan database MySQL. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah mendapatkan informasi mengenai program studi akutansi Pembangunan Panca Budi . sistem ini dibuat secara sederhana agar dapat mudah dimengerti . Website ini mempunyai fitur-fitur seperti Home, Data dosen, Kurikulum, Organisasi, Kegiatan Jumlah Mahasiswa aktif , Akreditas , Kontak Biro Hingga Jam Operasional. Dengan dibuatnya website ini sebagai sarana untuk promosi dan publikasi agar dapat diakses kapan dan dimanapun oleh mahasiswa hingga masyarakat umum sehingga dapat digunakan untuk mencari informasi mengenai program studi akuntansi.
