Abstract

So far, the function of oral tradition is only considered normatively and judged as something static. But with the demands of globalization, the function of oral tradition should have been changed to be practical. One form of oral tradition that is still considered to have values that are still relevant to the needs of community supporters who carried on from generation to generation is a traditional ceremony. One of the traditional ceremonies owned by the people of Ternate is kolie kie. Although in reality only a small part of Ternate people who still hold this ceremony, namely the people who are in the sub-district of Ternate Islands. The content of cultural values and meaning in the tradition of kololi kie can also be a source or medium of cultural learning for the community of the island of Ternate. Real learning is a process of improving a person's cognitive done in the classroom only, can also be obtained by utilizing the environment as a target for learning, learning resources, and learning tools. One of the learning theories that accommodate the demands of sociocultural-revolution or an environment-based learning style is the theory of learning developed by Vygotsky. In Vygotsky's theory, it is argued that the main thing in improving one's mental functions is derived from the social life or group, and not just from the individual himself.

Abstract

The low of undergraduate students’ writing motivation is one of the classic problems encountered in many universities around the world. This phenomenon can be observed from the frequency of text produced by university students in various levels. Teachers around the world had practiced many methods and strategies in hope that the students’ writing motivation could be enhanced. However, this classic problem is still faced in the classroom today. It is interesting that the students who seldom to write in the classroom but are very active in writing in social media. The researcher then decided to investigate whether blog can enhance the students’ writing motivation. 21 students were involved in this research. After observing the students’ blog in almost 5 months and gathering information through open questionnaires, it has been concluded that blog could enhance the students’ writing motivation but the lack of students’ knowledge on how to operate the blog could be the reason why the students’ writing motivation (in this research) enhancement occurred only in small degree.

Abstract

Fungsi kearifan lokal sebagai penanda identitas suatu kelompok atau bangsa adalah fungsi yang dibutuhkan dalam merancang sebuah pembelajaran pada abad ini. Sudah saatnya guru melihat kearifan lokal sebagai media ataupun basis yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut dimaksudkan agar nilai-nilai budaya yang terdapat dalam kearifan lokal tersebut dapat terintegrasikan saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung. Salah satu jenis kearifan lokal yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran sastra adalah sastra lisan dolabololo. Dolabololo adalah sastra lisan yang berbentuk ungkapan tradisional. Dolabololo mengandung nilai-nilai kehudupan dan dipercaya sebagai media dalam membentuk watak masyarakat Ternate. Nilai-nilai kehidupan serta bentuk kebahasaan terdapat dalam dolabololo dapat dimanfaatkan dan diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran menulis puisi di kelas. Filosfis pembelajaran yang bisa digunakan dalam merancang pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan sastra lisan dolabololo adalah konstrutivisme dengan teori belajar yang mengakomodasi tuntutan sociocultural-revolution atau gaya belajar berbasis lingkungan yang dikembangkan oleh Vygotsky. Terdapat lima tahapan prosedur pemanfaatan dolabololo dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi yaitu, 1) seleksi; 2) organisasi; 3) presentasi; 4) pelatihan; dan 5) evaluasi

Abstract

The style of language in a work such as poetry has a beautiful effect so that the poem becomes more attractive and increases the reader's taste. This study aims to describe the use of language style in poetry by students in Class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sanana. Research is a type of qualitative research. The subject of this study was poetry written by class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sanana. There were 34 student works that were used as research subjects, according to the number of students in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Sanana. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Sanana. The instruments used in this research consist of: 1) the researchers themselves (human instruments); 2) Data card; and 3) Data Classification Sheet. The data analysis technique in this study uses semantic analysis, namely by reading, translating poetry seriously, and classifying data into figurative language according to existing theories. The data were then analyzed for style and grouped according to Keraf and Tarigan's style theory. The results of this study indicate that there are 10 types of figurative language contained in the 34 poetry works of students of SMP Negeri 1 Sanana analyzed in this study. The most common classification of language style used in poetry works by class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sanana is comparative language style, with the most widely used type of language style being personification language style reaching 53 uses..

Abstract

Spinach leaves and cloves can be processed into a tea drink that is delicious and healthy to consume. Tea with the product name Baceh tea is a form of processing from cloves and spinach leaves which has been produced by Gatra Buana Akbid students who are accompanied by Gatra Buana Akbid lecturers. Baceh tea is used as a product whose manufacturing process is taught to new students of the Gatra Buana Gurabati Tidore Academy, class of 2023/2024, in mentoring or training activities. The assistance activity for making Baceh tea is carried out with the aim that students of the Gatra Buana Guarabati Tidore Academy class of 2023/2024 can learn to process spinach leaves and clove fruit into products that can be consumed in different forms, namely in the form of drinks such as tea. This product is also expected to have economic value. . The location for training in making Baceh tea is at the Gatra Buana Gurabati Tidore Academy campus. The stages in this activity include; (1) pre-activities, which include permitting activities and site preparation; (2) implementation of actions, which include socialization activities and assistance in making Baceh tea. The results of this activity were seen by the 58 students of the Gurabati Tidore Midwifery Academy class of 2023/2024 who took part as participants in this activity, showing their enthusiasm and high creativity in producing clove spinach tea products.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze character education of forms, types, and meanings of metaphors and their relevance to cultural values ​​in the Ternate community. This study qualitative approach by utilizing content analysis methods and integrating them with the theory of metaphor analysis by Knowles and Moon. The research was conducted in Ternate Island District. The research subjects are the indigenous people of Ternate who are in the Ternate Island District, and the traditional holders of the Ternate Sultanate Palace. The data in this study is in the form of traditional Dolabololo expressions obtained from interviews and written documentation. The stages of analyzing the data are through data reduction, data presentation, and data verification stages. The value of cultural character education contained in the ontological metaphor is the teaching to always tell the truth and describe the culture of mutual respect and respect that the people of Ternate have.

Abstract

Dolabololo merupakan salah satu sastra lisan Ternate yang berbentuk ungkapan tradisonal, mengandung metafora dalam struktur kebahasaan, serta nilai pembentuk karakter masayarakat Ternate. Nilai budaya serta nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam dolabololo tersebut juga memiliki wujud yang sama dengan karakter yang terdapat pada profil pelajar pancasila. Dengan demikian perlu untuk melihat wujud dan jenis implementasi nilai karakter dolabololo tersebut dan relevansinya terhadap penguatan profil pelajar pancasila di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan wujud dan jenis implementasi nilai pendidikan karakter dolabololo pada siswa di SMP Negeri 11 Kota Ternate, serta mendeskripsikan relevansi dari nilai karakter tersebut terhadap penguatan profil pelajar pancasila di sekolah.. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 11 Kota Ternate. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa SMP Negeri 11 Kota Ternate. Instrument penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, angket, dokumen atau literature yang berkaitan dengan dolabololo dan profil pelajar pancasila, serta alat perekam (kamera handphone). Data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Data primer berupa hasil wawancara, hasil observasi, serta hasil angket, selanjutnya data primer berupa hasil dokementasi kegiatan pendidikan karakter yang dilakukan di sekolah tersebut. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data meliputi dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan tahap kesimpulan. Teknik trigulasi yang digunanakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan cara membandingkan sumber dari data wawancara, observasi dengan data dokumentasi, untuk mendapatkan keabsahan data atau data yang akurat. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Bentuk implementasi dolabololo di SMP Negeri 11 adalah dengan cara menjadikan dolabololo sebagai bahan nasehat yang diselalu diselipkan dalam apel pagi sebeblum masuk ke dalam kelas. Terdapat dua belas dolabololo yang diselipkan setiap paginya disetiap harinya selama senin sampai dengan rabu setelah apel pagi. Dolabololo yang digunakan tersebut memiliki nilai karakter yang berbeda-beda dalam bentuknya. Nilai karakter yang diimpelemntasikan pada minggu pertama sampai dengan minggu keempat adalah ajaran tentang bagaimana menghadapi dan menjalani kehidupan, saling menghargai sesama manusia dengan cara saling menjaga lisan saat berbicara atau sopan santun, berikutnya ajaran tentang jangan gampang menyerah dan selau terus berusaha.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah pengangguran dengan gelar sarjana di Indonesia menggambarkan bahwa daya serap pasar kerja dengan lulusan Perguruan Tinggi sangatlah lemah atau sangat kecil. Untuk menyeimbangkan hal tersebut, perlu adanya usaha menumbuhkembangkan semangat berwirausaha dikalangan mahsiswa, guna mengurangi pengganguran terdidik di negeri ini, khususunya di Maluku Utara. Sudah bayak uapaya yang dilakukan pemerintah untuk menggencarkan semangat berwirausaha dikalangan mahasiswa, salah satunya dengan memberikan dana bantuan kewirausahaan yang diberikan oleh LLDIKTI Wilayah XII yang telah berjalan selama dua tahun ini. Program pendanaan tersebut diharapkan mampu melahirkan wirausahaan atau enterpreuner dari kalangan mahasiswa yang berada di LLDIKTI Wilayah XII. Penelitian ini bertujuan; a) mendeskripiskan potensi wirausahaan atau enterpreuner pada kelompok mahasiswa penerima dana kewirausahaan LLDIKTI XII TA 2023; b) mendeskripiskan karakteristik produk kewirausahaan kelompok mahasiswa penerima dana kewirausahaan LLDIKTI XII TA 2023. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di dua PTS penerima dana bantuan terbanyak yakni AKBID Gatra Buana dan Universitas Halmahera. Subjek peneltian terdiri dari kelompok kewirausahaan mahasiswa dari dua kampus tersebut. Instrument penelitian ini adalah pedoman wawancara, lembar observasi, angket, dokumen atau literature yang berkaitan dengan proposal dan laporan akhir produk kewirausahaan mahasiswa, serta alat perekam (kamera handphone). Data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Data primer berupa hasil wawancara, hasil observasi, serta hasil angket, selanjutnya data primer berupa hasil dokementasi kegiatan yang berkaitan dengan produksi dan pemasaran prosuk kewirausahaan tersebut. Langkah-langkah menganalisis data meliputi dari reduksi data, penyajian data, dan tahap kesimpulan.

Abstract

Currently, the number of unemployed with a bachelor's degree in Indonesia is still increasing, this illustrates that the absorption of the labor market with college graduates is currently still low. To balance this, there needs to be an effort to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among students, in order to reduce educated unemployment in this country. The government has made many efforts to intensify the entrepreneurial spirit among students, one of which is by providing a forum for students to create entrepreneurial groups. Akbid Cahwala North Maluku has an entrepreneurial group called Gatra Kretaif. Gatra Kretaif has more than thirty products. This study aims to describe the entrepreneurial potential of the Gatra Kretaif student group. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at Akbid Cahwala North Maluku. The subjects of the study consisted of the Gatra Kreatif student entrepreneurial group totaling 30 students. The research instruments were interview guidelines, observation sheets, questionnaires, and recording devices (cellphone cameras). The data in this study consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data in the form of interview results, observation results, and questionnaire results, then primary data in the form of documentation results of activities related to the production and marketing of creative gatra entrepreneurship products. The steps for analyzing data include data reduction, data presentation, and the conclusion stage. The results of the study indicate that the creative gatra student entrepreneurship group has the potential to become entrepreneurs, and has great opportunities in continuing the business.

Abstract

Perineal infection is a common problem after childbirth. Most of the people of North Maluku, especially the Ternate community, have a culture or tradition in treating lacerations in the perineal area. This study aims to describe the forms and patterns of culture in treating postpartum premium wounds in Dorpedu Village, Ternate Island District. This research is important to do in order to add information and references about the richness of culture or traditions in the form of traditional medicine that are spread throughout Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach. A qualitative approach is used because this approach can describe data or conditions in the field specifically. Data collection was carried out using in-depth interviews and observations on groups of informants and key informants. The research instrument is to use a voice recorder that has previously obtained approval from the informant. Sampling in this study is the principle of appropriateness and adequacy. Triangulation of sources to obtain the same information from different informants, while triangulation of methods to obtain data in several ways, namely through in-depth interviews and observations. The results of this study are the culture of the Dorpedu community in treating postpartum mothers is by using traditional medicine, namely drinking rorano or special concoctions from plants, barahu and bafufu. Mothers who have experienced postpartum believe in using medicine based on local culture.
