Abstract

The conceptualization of Islamic education based on multiculturalism is important to implement to resolve and reconcile peace after social conflict. For this reason, this research was carried out to identify and describe important concepts that are the basis of multicultural Islamic education in post-social conflict reconciliation. This research used a descriptive qualitative research paradigm with documentation and field research models in the community and Islamic educational institutions in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. Data collection techniques use documentation, interviews, and observation. The reduced and classified data were then studied and conceptualized based on an in-depth study based on the theoretical perspective of Islamic education and multiculturalism. The results of the research are that the conceptualization of Islamic education based on multiculturalism in post-social conflict reconciliation is conceptualized in the form of (1) Islamic education to understand human differences; (2) Islamic education becomes a set of values ​​for social life; (3) Islamic education accommodates local values; and (4) Islamic education becomes the foundation for social reconciliation. This conceptualization confirms that Islamic education based on multiculturalism can be used as an alternative in post-social conflict reconciliation.

Abstract

This study examines how the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles enhances community awareness in the distribution of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) through ZIS management literacy at BAZNAS Enrekang Regency, Indonesia. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving BAZNAS administrators, sub-district zakat collection units (UPZ), muzakki (donors), and mustahik (beneficiaries). The results reveal that BAZNAS Enrekang applies GCG principles—transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence, and fairness—in managing ZIS funds. Transparency is realized through regular financial reporting and open access to information, while accountability is ensured by internal and external audits. However, limited community literacy regarding ZIS management reduces understanding and participation in zakat programs. To overcome this, BAZNAS conducts literacy campaigns, simplifies financial information, and involves muzakki in verification and distribution processes. The findings highlight that strengthening GCG-based literacy programs is essential to increase public trust, awareness, and active involvement in ZIS distribution. This study contributes to the literature on Islamic social finance governance by linking corporate governance mechanisms with public literacy and engagement outcomes.

Abstract

Comparison between the health levels of Bank Muamalat , a national private bank, and Bank Syariah Indonesia, a state-owned enterprise, is based on their published 2022 annual financial statements. This study aims to assess the financial health of both banks and compare their health levels using the RGEC method (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earnings, and Capital). The research employs a quantitative approach with a comparative field research type, focusing on financial health by analyzing financial performance in 2022 through the RGEC method. This study uses secondary data sourced from the 2022 annual reports of both banks, published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The findings indicate that Bank Muamalat performed well in liquidity and capital but needs improvement in profitability, particularly in return on assets. The composite rating for Bank Muamalat in 2022 was 68.57%, placing it in the PK-3 category, meaning it is 'Quite Healthy.' Bank Syariah Indonesia exhibited excellent performance in risk profile, capital, and operating margins. Its composite rating in 2022 was 74.28%, classifying it under the PK-2 category, meaning it is 'Healthy.' The different composite rankings suggest variations in financial health between the two banks. Future research is recommended to incorporate additional assessment factors and continue using the RGEC method to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of bank health.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengimplementasian multi akad gadai emas serta mengetahui alur proses transaksi gadai menurut pandangan ekonomi syariah pada PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Kantor Cabang Mamuju. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri atas sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lokasi penelitian ini adalah PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Kantor Cabang Mamuju Yang Jl Urip Sumoharjo No 44 kel. Karema Kec. Mamuju Kab. MAmuju Sulawesi Barat. Subjek peneltian ini berjumlah 19 orang yang terdiri dari 4 orang Pegawai dan 15 orang Nasabah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Kantor Cabang Mamuju merupakan hasil merger tiga bank syariah anak Perusahaan Bank BUMN yaitu BSM, BNIS dan BRIS. PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Kantor Cabang Mamuju dari ex BSM dimana sebelum merger sudah memiliki konter layanan gadai dan konter layanan gadai inilah yang berlanjut sampai saat ini. Skema multi akad yang digunakan adalah skema tiga akad yaitu rahn sebagai pengikatan jaminan emas qard sebagai akad pinjaman dan ijarah sebagai akad pengenaan biaya titipan (mu’nah) dalam penerapa akadnya dicantumkan dalam SBGE dan ditandatangani nasabah dengan petugas bank. Gadai memiliki beberapa tahapan transaksi yaitu tahap awal proses pencairan kemudian proses penyinpanan agunan proses perpanjangan dan yang terakhir proses pelunasan gadai emas. Dalam penerapannya gadai emas harus sesuai dengan prinsip prinsip ekonomi islam yaitu ketauhidan kemaslahatan dan prinsip keadilan sesuai dengan syariat Islam dan tertuang dalam Al-Qur’an maupun Hadist. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keseluruhan proses transaksi multi akad gadai emas pada PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk Kantor Cabang Mamuju sudah sesuai dengan prinsip hukum ekonomi syariah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pemberdayaan masyarakat dan pengelolaan lingkungan melalui program bank sampah di Kota Parepare. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program bank sampah di Kota Parepare berhasil meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah dan memberikan manfaat ekonomi bagi masyarakat. Terdapat 12 bank sampah aktif yang beroperasi di berbagai kelurahan, yang berfungsi sebagai tempat pengumpulan sampah yang telah dipilah sebelum dijual atau didaur ulang. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam program ini cukup signifikan, dengan beberapa nasabah menyatakan bahwa program ini membantu mengelola sampah rumah tangga dan memberikan tambahan penghasilan. Namun, program ini masih menghadapi kendala seperti rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dan keterbatasan fasilitas. Rekomendasi yang diberikan termasuk peningkatan fasilitas, edukasi dan sosialisasi, kolaborasi dengan sektor swasta, dan pemberian insentif kepada masyarakat yang berpartisipasi aktif. Dengan demikian, diharapkan program bank sampah di Kota Parepare dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan memberikan manfaat yang lebih besar bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan

Abstract

Business competition in the banking sector is now increasingly fierce, both in domestic and international markets. The quality of customer service is the main key for banking companies to maintain customer trust and satisfaction. In providing optimal service, the bank integrates technology through Mobile Banking (m-banking) services to meet customer needs. This research aims to evaluate the influence of various aspects of m-banking, such as system security, company credibility, ease of use, and speed on customer satisfaction at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Mamuju. Quantitative research methods were used by collecting data through questionnaires to 94 respondents. The research results show that the variables of system security, company credibility, and m-banking speed positively influence customer satisfaction, with a joint influence reaching 56.4%. Multiple linear regression analysis shows that system security (X1), company credibility (X3), and speed (X4) have a significant positive influence on customer satisfaction (Y). The resulting regression equation is Y = 2.624 + 0.227 X1 + 0.211 X3 + 0.407 X4 + e. Thus, it can be concluded that the higher the quality of m-banking services, the greater customer satisfaction at Bank Syariah Indonesia KC Mamuju will increase. However, there were 2% complaints, indicating that improvements are still needed to improve the m-banking user experience.

Abstract

This research discusses the strategies of women's micro, small and medium enterprises in facing competition in Bacukiki sub-district, Parepare city. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a type of field research, phenomenological research approach. The main problem in this research is how women's micro, small and medium enterprises face competition in Bacukiki sub-district, Parepare city. It was found that women in micro, small and medium enterprises in the Bacukiki subdistrict of Parepare city had high motivation in running their businesses. It can be seen that women run businesses because of their hobbies, dreams of owning a business and becoming successful entrepreneurs and wanting to help the family economically. The steps taken by women so that their business continues to run as desired are that they carry out regular evaluations, both monthly and weekly evaluations, then seek more knowledge about the business they are running so that their business can develop further, and they determine their target market, carry out planning and provide promotions or discounts to consumers.
