Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find and analyze methods to improve teachers' professionalism to create innovative and effective learning at SMA Negeri 8 Medan. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach, which involves collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation from teachers and students. The results show that teachers at SMA Negeri 8 Medan have done many things to become more professional, such as attending training and workshops, and using technology in learning. To increase students' participation and encouragement, teachers use diverse and interactive learning approaches. Teachers' professional development is also assisted by school facilities, policies and training. However, there are some problems found in this study, such as technology limitations, time, and adaptation to changes in learning methods. Overall, the methodology used has improved the quality of learning, as shown by increased student enthusiasm and understanding. This research recommends collaboration between teachers and school authorities, improved supporting facilities, and continuous training programs to create a more creative and successful learning environment.

Abstract

In Indonesia, many local websites, such as Irama Nusantara, hold valuable information related to music and culture. Although rich in data, the utilization of this information is still limited. This research aims to utilize query expansion techniques through data mining methods in analyzing data from the Irama Nusantara website. Data was collected from the Irama Nusantara website through a crawling process, resulting in 5404 entries covering audio, images and text. The analysis was conducted using Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques starting with the preprocessing stage. Next, the K-Means algorithm was applied for clustering, and the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method was used for term weighting. Classification models were built using Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naive Bayes for comparison. The analysis shows that the use of query expansion significantly improves the accuracy of information retrieval on the Irama Nusantara website. The method evaluation showed that SVM gave better results in terms of accuracy and precision compared to Naive Bayes. In addition, Principal Component Analysis (PCA) shows that 70-95% of the variance in the data can be explained by the resulting principal components, which signifies the efficiency of the applied method. This research not only provides a deeper insight into the patterns and trends in the analyzed data, but also contributes to the development of information technology in the field of culture in Indonesia. This research successfully developed an effective analysis model to utilize data from the Irama Nusantara website.

Abstract

Conducting da'wah in a diverse community is not just about holding strong beliefs, but also about embodying strong moral principles and social ethics. This study discusses the implementation of da'wah in the Pinangratus village, focusing on efforts to enhance community solidarity through social activities. Pinangratus village is a heterogeneous environment, where various social and cultural backgrounds coexist. The aim of this research is to reveal how da'wah in this village can serve as a means to strengthen social relationships and increase solidarity among residents. The study uses qualitative research methods, involving observation, interviews, and document analysis to collect data. The results show that the implementation of da'wah in Pinangratus has successfully created a variety of social activities involving the entire village community. These activities include the development of social infrastructure, educational programs, health assistance, and various religious activities involving all villagers, regardless of their social or cultural background.

Abstract

Dalam era digital, kualitas citra memiliki peran penting dalam berbagai bidang seperti fotografi, penginderaan jauh, dan pencitraan medis. Namun, kondisi pencahayaan yang tidak merata dan adanya noise seringkali menurunkan kualitas visual citra. Penelitian ini membandingkan dua metode peningkatan kualitas citra, yaitu Histogram Equalization (HE) dan Adaptive Histogram Equalization (AHE), untuk mengetahui metode yang paling efektif dalam berbagai kondisi pencahayaan. Sebanyak 20 citra digital diuji, mewakili kondisi pencahayaan rendah, terang, dan tidak merata. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan metrik Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) untuk menilai kesamaan antara citra hasil dan citra asli berdasarkan aspek pencahayaan, kontras, dan struktur. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa AHE umumnya memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dengan nilai SSIM yang lebih tinggi, khususnya pada citra dengan pencahayaan tidak merata. Namun, dalam beberapa kasus, HE memberikan hasil yang lebih optimal. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pemilihan metode peningkatan kualitas citra perlu mempertimbangkan karakteristik masing-masing gambar.
