Abstract

Abstract. The primary purpose of this paper is to explore how redesigning product packaging can increase customer purchase intention. The uniqueness of this research is the use of neuromarketing principles in redesigning product packaging, and the context that will be discussed is a social enterprise product. The methods used are mixed methods consisting of qualitative methods, experimental design, and quantitative methods. The principle of neuromarketing discussed in this study is eye-tracking. The quantitative research will then test the relationship between product packaging and purchase intention. A new packaging design was created for RASI product. For a long time, RASI (Beras Singkong or Cassava Rice) has been an iconic product for Cireundeu due to its heritage and unique culture. The eye-tracking experiments strongly correlate the new packaging design and product purchase intention. This article resulted in a new packaging design by applying the neuromarketing principle in a social setting.Keywords: Design, product packaging, neuromarketing, purchase intention, social enterpriseAbstrak. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana mendesain ulang kemasan produk dapat meningkatkan niat beli dari pelanggan. Keunikan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan prinsip neuromarketing dalam mendesain ulang kemasan produk, dan konteks yang akan dibahas adalah produk kewirausahaan sosial. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode campuran yang terdiri dari metode kualitatif, desain eksperimen, dan metode kuantitatif. Prinsip neuromarketing yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah eye-tracking. Penelitian kuantitatif kemudian akan menguji hubungan antara kemasan produk dengan niat beli. Desain kemasan baru diciptakan untuk produk RASI. Untuk waktu yang lama, RASI (Beras Singkong) telah menjadi produk ikonik dari Kampung Adat Cireundeu. Eksperimen pelacakan mata sangat berkorelasi dengan desain kemasan baru dan niat pembelian produk. Artikel ini menghasilkan desain kemasan baru dengan menerapkan prinsip neuromarketing dalam lingkungan sosial.Kata kunci: Desain, kemasan produk, intensi membeli, kewirausahaan sosial, eye-tracking

Abstract

Understanding the actors' behavior is an essential step to recognizing the standpoint of each actor to generate a strategy that facilitates collaboration and healthy coopetition in creating a green and sustainable impact. By defining a suitable strategy, the optimization of collaboration and coopetition in a sustainable food and beverage supply chain can be performed through game theory optimization. Therefore, this study aims to understand the description of the actors' behaviors corresponding to sustainable incentives in the food and beverage industry in existing game-theory optimization literature. This study was carried out by conducting a literature scoping of two significant databases: Scopus and Web of Science. 1816 articles were identified in the initial selection, and 25 were deeply evaluated and mapped. The literature scoping review shows that the supply chain's performance and interaction are related to the actors' actions, which have an independent interest, though they share a common desire to maximize its benefits. The main financial incentives are found in the game theory literature. However, the other incentives are not yet explored thoroughly. In the near future, it is suggested to conduct research on formulation of ethical and social incentives in order to be utilized in game theory optimization.

Abstract

Volatile and vulnerable conditions during disaster relief cause many problems on the coordination of aid replenishments. Research states that partnership improves coordination thus reducing the uncertainty condition along supply chain including in replenishment. This paper aims to fulfill the research gap on examining the impact of partnership in the disaster relief process. Dynamic characteristics model of this case was built by modifying the beer distribution game through Vensim PLE Plus. Model had been validated and verified with the West Java Regional Disaster Management Authority (BPPD). The simulation was run for for two types of product: repetitive demand (food package) and one-time demand (blanket). Total cost, bullwhip effect, and total distribution time for each scenario are then compared. The simulation results show that the proposed scenario, which is developed based on the usage of blockchain on the partnership system, can reduce the total distribution time for about 43% for blanket and 27% for food package. Meanwhile, the total cost for blankets can be reduced for about 29% and 13% for food packages. But on the other side, the partnership system had aggravated the bullwhip effect. Some future potential researches are also proposed in this study.

Abstract

Sampah berupa produk elektronik yang sudah rusak atau tidak terpakai lagi disebut dengan istilah  e-waste. Jenis sampah ini semakin hari-semakin menghawatirkan karena sangat sedikit perusahaan penghasil perangkat elektronik yang mendeklarasikan diri untuk bertanggung jawab terhadap produk yang dihasilkan terutama setelah siklus hidup produk berakhir. Dari sekian banyak produk elektronik yang beredar di sekitar kita, laptop merupakan contoh produk elektronik yang singkat masa/siklus hidupnya. Produk ini memiliki berbagai komponen elektronik, termasuk di dalamnya adalah baterai. E-waste dari baterai laptop memiliki dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan yang seharusnya menjadi perhatian semua pihak. Pada sisi yang lain, baterai laptop sebenarnya dapat digunakan kembali dengan memperpanjang masa pakainya. Salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka pemanfaatan kembali baterai bekas ini adalah menerapkan konsep Reverse Logistic padanya. Reverse logistic merupakan upaya penanganan produk yang telah habis masa pakainya dan penggunaan kembali komponen produk dengan tujuan untuk value recovery dan melakukan proses pembuangan yang aman.     Dalam penelitian ini, tiga macam baterai laptop bekas digunakan sebagai objek penelitian untuk meneliti perbedaan umum dari semua komponen baterai laptop tersebut. Perancangan dimulai dengan pengumpulan informasi komponen, penentuan proses dan kriteria inspeksi setiap komponen, dan proses lainnya. Proses khusus pengelompokan battery cell dilakukan dengan menentukan batasan kapasitas tenaga yang tersisa dan penentuan kelompok baterai yakni kelompok A, B, dan C. Penyusunan kelompok baterai dimulai dari group dengan kapasitas teratas dengan beberapa situasi yang memungkinkan. Pengumpulan tanggapan konsumen terhadap permasalahan baterai laptop dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Dikumpulkan juga informasi dampak lingkungan dari tiap komponen baterai menggunakan fasilitas Sustainability Evaluation pada Solid Works 2013. Strategi penanganan berupa beberapa alternatif skema Reverse Logistic terhadap komponen baterai laptop bekas dibangun dengan memperhatikan peran pihak-pihak terkait dan kompleksitas aliran material diantara pihak-pihak tersebut. Suatu rancangan strategis dihasilkan dalam bentuk skema rantai Reverse Logistic yang meliputi pihak-pihak yang terlibat, proses yang perlu dilakukan, dan alur proses dan meterialnya. Battery reuse digolongkan ke dalam 3 grup berdasarkan kapasitasnya, yaitu Grup A (≥80%), Grup B (70%-79%), Grup C (60%-69%). Selain itu, dihasilkan juga report dampak lingkungan dari komponen baterai laptop dengan Sustainability Evaluation dan skema life cycle dari baterai laptop hasil rancangan. Secara umum dapat dikatakan bahwa dengan memperhatikan konsep Reverse Logistic bagi baterai laptop bekas, akan terjadi penurunan dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan dari komponen baterai laptop sebesar hingga 29% dari dampak sebelumnya.

Abstract

One-door container type of vehicle is the main tool for urban logistics in Indonesia which may take the form of truck, car, or motorcycle container. The operations would be more effective when it is performed through pickup-delivery or forward-reverse at a time. However, there is difficulty to optimize the operation of routing and container loading processes in such a system. This article is proposing an improvement for algorithm for sequential routing- loading process which had been tested in the small datasets but not yet tested in the case of big data set and vehicle routing problem with time windows. The improvement algorithm is tested in big data set with the input of the vehicle routing problem with time windows (VRP-TW) using the solution optimization of the Simulated Annealing process with restart point procedure (SA-R) for the routing optimization and Genetic Algorithm (GA) to optimize the container loading algorithm. The large data sets are hypothetical generated data for 800-2500 single-sized products, 4 types of container capacity, and 100-400 consumer spots. As result, the performance of the proposed algorithm in terms of cost is influenced by the number of spots to be visited by the vehicle and the vehicle capacity. Limitations and further analysis are also described in this article.

Abstract

This research explores some potential factors that affect the continuance intention of a mobile payment service. The trend of mobile payment services has been increasing since the last few years. The advancing technology of the internet and smartphone has been a supporting environment for the growth of this method. Many similar mobile payment services are offered in the community which results in a highly competitive business condition. The business owner who has put a high investment in this business will surely want to keep it running and even grow their product. Therefore, some knowledge of factors that can significantly promote the sustained use of their product to customers will be imperative. In this research, some existing models on the general repurchase intention concept and users’ continuance intention will be combined and tested to figure out some influential aspects to continuance intention concept. Seven factors are hypothesized to have direct and indirect effects. Data from 193 respondents are gathered and the results of the tested model shows perceived quality, perceived value, and brand preference subsequently influence the continuance intention. Further analysis is also conducted in this research to explain the relationship between factors as well as analysis of current mobile payment providers.
