Abstract

The purpose of companies conducting mergers and acquisitions is to expect benefits for fellow companies. This advantage will occur if the merger and acquisition activities result in good synergy to improve company performance. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there are differences in financial performance and banking health conditions before and after mergers and acquisitions. This study uses the RGEC (Risk Profile, Good Corporate Governance, Earning, Capital) variable. The population in this study were all banks listed on the IDX for the period 2004-2018. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling, in order to obtain a total of 6 banks in the study sample. The data analysis method used was the Paired Sample T-Test and the Wilxocon Signed Ranks Test. The results of the analysis show that there are significant differences in the ratio of NPL, ROA, NIM, and CAR between before and after the merger and acquisition

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios on profit growth in food and beverage industry companies listed on the IDX in the 2010-2019 period. The population in this study are all companies listed on the IDX for the 2010-2019 period with a total of 33 companies. The sample used in this study were 12 companies in accordance with the sampling criteria. The analysis method used is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously Current Ratio (CR), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) affect profit growth in industrial companies, food and beverages listed on the IDX for the 2010-2019 period. Partially, the Total Asset Turnover (TATO) and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) variables have a positive and significant effect on profit growth in food and beverage industry companies listed on the IDX for the 2010-2019 period, while Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR) and Net Profit Margin (NPM) have a negative and significant effect on profit growth in food and beverage industry companies listed on the IDX for the 2010-2019 period.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of financial ratios, namely, Current Ratio, Debt Equity Ratio, Return On Assets, and Growth Assets on dividend policy in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2017-2020. The method used in this research is panel data regression analysis with software tools Eviews 12. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling with a total sample of 27 manufacturing companies. The results show that CR, DER, ROA, and GA have a simultaneous effect on dividend policy. Partially ROA has a positive effect on dividend policy, while CR, DER, and GA have no significant effect on dividend policy

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the ratio Return on Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), Company Size (Size), Asset Growth (Growth) on the capital structure of mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2014-2021. The method used in this study was panel data regression analysis with the help of the Eviews 10 program. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total sample of 8 mining companies. The results of the study show that ROE, CR, Size, and Growth simultaneously influence capital structure. Partially Current Ratio (CR) has a negative and significant effect on capital structure then Firm Size (Size) has a positive and significant effect on capital structure. Meanwhile, Return on Equity (ROE) and Asset Growth (Growth) do not significantly influence capital structure.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh rasio Return on Equity (ROE), Current Ratio (CR), Ukuran Perusahaan (Size), Pertumbuhan Aktiva (Growth) terhadap struktur modal pada perusahaan pertambangan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2014-2021. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi data panel dengan bantuan program E-views 10. Teknik pengambilan sampel, menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 8 perusahaan pertambangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ROE, CR, Size, dan Growth berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap struktur modal. Secara parsial Current Ratio (CR)  berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal, ukuran perusahaan (Size) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap struktur modal. Sedangkan Return on Equity (ROE) dan Pertumbuhan Aktiva (Growth) tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap struktur modal

Abstract

Lack of financial literacy and supported by the ease of technology, as well as the YOLO (You Only Live Once) and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) views that developed among Gen-Z, causing them to be less able to manage expenses. Therefore, it is necessary to improve financial literacy and strategies to achieve financial freedom for Gen-Z. The community service activity organized was in the form of a Webinar which was attended by Gen-Z employees aged 20-26 years. Webinar participants came from Trilogy University Employee class students and the general public. The results of the webinar showed an increased understanding of the importance of financial planning, the availability of sufficient emergency funds, and the strategies needed to prepare for the future through minimum savings and investments that must be made programmatically.Kurangnya literasi keuangan dan didukung oleh kemudahan teknologi, serta pandangan YOLO (You Only Live Once) dan FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) yang berkembang di kalangan Gen-Z, menyebabkan mereka kurang dapat mengatur pengeluaran. Sehingga perlu adanya peningkatan literasi keuangan serta strategi untuk mencapai kebebasan finansial bagi Gen-Z. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang diselenggarakan berbentuk Webinar yang diikuti oleh para karyawan Gen-Z yang berusia 20-26 tahun. Peserta webinar berasal dari mahasiswa kelas Karyawan Universitas Trilogi serta masyarakat umum. Hasil webinar menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya perencanaan keuangan, tersedianya dana darurat yang cukup, serta strategi yang dibutuhkan untuk mempersiapkan masa depan melalui tabungan minimal serta investasi yang harus dilakukan secara terprogram.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic, which has impacted the world since early 2020, has significantly changed consumer behavior, with online shopping becoming more prevalent. Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) that rely on traditional sales methods have experienced a decline in income. This community service activity aims to improve the welfare of MSME actors in Ciampea Village, Ciampea Subdistrict, Bogor, by utilizing digital marketing. The methods used in this activity include lectures, demonstrations, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice. The training covers the basic concepts of digital marketing, the use of social media, and e-commerce platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Shopee, and Tokopedia. Participants, consisting of MSME actors and PKK mothers, showed high enthusiasm and successfully acquired basic skills in creating and managing accounts on various digital platforms. The training results showed an increase in the participants' knowledge and skills in digital marketing. They are now more confident in using digital technology to market their products. Positive feedback from the participants reflects the program's success in opening their minds and providing practical tools for MSME actors to increase their sales and welfare. It is hoped that with ongoing support and mentoring, MSME actors in Ciampea Village can continue to utilize digital marketing to achieve sustainable economic growth. Pandemi Covid-19 yang melanda sejak awal tahun 2020 telah memaksa perubahan signifikan dalam perilaku konsumen, di mana belanja online menjadi lebih dominan. Pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) yang masih bergantung pada metode penjualan tradisional mengalami penurunan pendapatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan pelaku UMKM di Desa Ciampea, Kecamatan Ciampea, Bogor, dengan memanfaatkan pemasaran digital. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi interaktif, dan praktik langsung. Pelatihan ini mencakup penjelasan tentang konsep dasar pemasaran digital, penggunaan media sosial dan platform e-commerce seperti Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Shopee, dan Tokopedia. Peserta yang terdiri dari pelaku UMKM dan ibu-ibu PKK menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan berhasil menguasai keterampilan dasar dalam membuat dan mengelola akun di berbagai platform digital. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam pemasaran digital. Mereka kini lebih percaya diri dalam menggunakan teknologi digital untuk memasarkan produk mereka. Umpan balik positif dari peserta mencerminkan keberhasilan program ini dalam membuka wawasan dan memberikan alat praktis bagi pelaku UMKM untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan kesejahteraan mereka. Diharapkan, dengan dukungan dan pendampingan berkelanjutan, pelaku UMKM di Desa Ciampea dapat terus memanfaatkan digital marketing untuk mencapai pertumbuhan ekonomi yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of equity mutual funds on the Bareksa platform for 2019-2021. The research sample consisted of 40 equity mutual funds selected using purposive sampling. The panel data regression model was used to test the effect of independent variables, including fund cash flow (FCF), fund size (SIZE), fund age (AGE), expense ratio (ER), and turnover ratio (TOR). The analysis showed that the FCF and AGE variables significantly positively affected mutual fund performance. Conversely, the SIZE and TOR variables did not significantly affect performance. The ER variable showed a significant adverse effect on performance. Based on the study’s results, it was concluded that the age of the mutual fund and free cash flow factors were the main determinants in determining the performance of equity mutual funds. At the same time, a high expense ratio tended to decrease performance. These findings provide implications for investors in choosing optimal equity mutual funds.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kinerja reksadana saham di platform Bareksa periode 2019-2021. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 40 reksadana saham yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Model regresi data panel digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel independen yang meliputi fund cash flow (FCF), fund size (SIZE), fund age (AGE), expense ratio (ER), dan turnover ratio (TOR). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa variabel FCF dan AGE memiliki pengaruh signifikan positif terhadap kinerja reksadana. Sebaliknya, variabel SIZE dan TOR tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja. Variabel ER menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan negatif terhadap kinerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa faktor usia reksadana dan free cash flow merupakan determinan utama dalam menentukan kinerja reksadana saham, sementara rasio pengeluaran yang tinggi cenderung menurunkan kinerja. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi investor dalam memilih reksadana saham yang optimal.

Abstract

The millennial generation is an interesting group to study because their lives are in an important phase of education, employment, and financial planning. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial attitudes, and lifestyle on the financial management of millennials. This study uses primary data obtained from filling out questionnaires. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a sample size of 150 respondents. The data analysis used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis tools. The results of this study indicate that financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on the financial management of the millennial generation. Positive changes in attitudes towards finance can help improve the ability to manage their finances. Meanwhile, financial literacy and lifestyle variables do not affect financial management.Generasi milenial adalah kelompok yang menarik untuk diteliti karena merupakan kelompok yang berada dalam fase penting dalam kehidupan mereka, yang mencakup tahap pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan perencanaan keuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan, sikap keuangan, dan gaya hidup terhadap pengelolaan keuangan generasi milenial. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang didapatkan dari pengisian kuesioner. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan jumlah sample sebanyak 150 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan alat bantu analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa sikap keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pengelolaan keuangan generasi milenial. Perubahan sikap yang positif terhadap keuangan dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan dalam pengelolaan keuangan generasi milenial. Sedangkan variabel literasi keuangan dan gaya hidup tidak berpengaruh terhadap pengelolaan keuangan.

Abstract

Gen Z and Millennials have dominated the Indonesian investment market in recent years. Generation Z are those aged 11-26 years in 2023. This generation is not only the age group that has the largest proportion of the population in Indonesia, but is also the most productive age group, which makes it possible to accelerate economic growth. Financial literacy, investment knowledge, and motivation are some of the factors that influence a person's investment interest. The aim of this research is to analyze the factors that influence Gen Z's investment interest in the Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi metropolitan areas. This research uses the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS - SEM) method and data processing with Smart Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS) statistical software. The primary data used in this research were 100 respondents. The research results show that Generation Z's motivation has a positive and significant effect on their investment interest; However, financial literacy and investment knowledge have no effect on investment interest.Genenerasi Z dan millennial mendominasi pasar investasi Indonesia dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Generasi Z adalah mereka yang pada tahun 2023 berusia antara 11 hingga 26 tahun. Generasi ini tidak hanya merupakan kelompok usia yang memiliki proporsi populasi terbesar di Indonesia, tetapi juga merupakan kelompok usia yang paling produktif, yang memungkinkan untuk mempercepat pertumbuhan ekonomi. Literasi keuangan, pengetahuan investasi, dan motivasi adalah beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi minat investasi seseorang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat investasi Genenerasi Z di wilayah metropolitan yaitu Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Partial Least Square - Struktural Equation Modeling (PLS - SEM) dan pengolahan data dengan software statistik Smart Partial Least Square (Smart-PLS). Data primer yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 100 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa motivasi Generasi Z berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat investasi mereka. Namun, literasi keuangan dan pengetahuan investasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap minat investasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Return on Assets, Current Ratio, Debt to Asset Ratio, Total Asset Turnover and Fixed Asset Turnover on firm value (Tobins-Q). The sample used in this study was a mining company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2018. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that the selected samples were 11 companies. The method of data analysis in this research is panel data linear regression analysis using Eviews version 8 software. The results showed that the Debt to Asset Ratio variable partially had a negative and significant effect on firm value (Tobins-Q). While the Return on Asset, Current Ratio, Total Asset Turnover and Fixed Asset Turnover variables do not affect the value of the company (Tobins-Q)
