Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the level of procrastination of class IX students at SMP Negeri 02 Bengkulu City is related to their learning methods. Information was collected from the results of giving student questionnaires about procrastination and learning styles. The research sample consisted of 129 people using random sampling methodology. Contingency Correlation analysis was carried out on the data using the SPSS crosstab menu. With a correlation value of 0.286 and a significance level of p 0.117 (p>0.05), the research results show that there is no relationship between learning style and student procrastination. Because the learning style variable does not show a relationship, future researchers can choose the delay variable along with other factors. Keywords: learning style, procrastination, students

Abstract

This study aims to describe the effect of group counseling services using the expressive writing technique in the form of catharsis on increasing emotional control of class VII B students of SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu Tengah. Methods This research uses an experimental method with one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study were students of class VII B SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu Tengah, totaling 30 students. The research sample was taken by purposive sampling technique with a sample of 6 students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The research data were analyzed using statistical analysis with the t test formula. the results of the study are 1. students’ emotional control before being given group counseling service with expressive writing techniques in the form of catharsis are classified as low 2. students’ emotional control after being given group counseling services are classified as high 3. there is an influence of group counseling services with expressive writing techniques in the form of catharsis on increasing emotional control in class VII B of SMP Negeri 9 Bengkulu Tengah. Based on this research, the researchers provide advice to guidance and counseling teachers to provide group counseling services to increase emotional control.Keywords: Emotional Control, Group Counseling, Expressive Writing Technique in the form of Catharsis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of group counseling services using the behavior contract technique in reducing online game addiction for first grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu. Researcher used quantitative research with the one-group pretest-posttest experimental method. The research subjects were seven students. The data collection technique used an online game addiction questionnaire. Data analysis used statistics with the t-test formula. The results of this study were proven by the average level of online game addiction in students before being given treatment is in the very high category, after being given treatment the level of online game addiction in students is in the low category. This study proves that there is an influence of group counseling services using the behavior contract technique in reducing online game addiction in first grade students of SMP Negeri 11 Bengkulu. Based on the results of the study. Therefore, it is recommended to use group counseling services with the behavior contract technique in reducing online game addiction. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing information services using animated video mediato increase understanding cyberbullying class X students at state vocational school 4 Bengkulu City. This researchis an experimental research with one group pre-test post-test design. The research sample is determined by thetechnique purposive sampling class X PPLG 1 totaling 26 students. Data was collected using a test instrument withtwo true-false choices. Data were analyzed using the formula t test. The results of the research show an average understanding cyberbullying before being given treatment it was in the medium category and after being giventreatment it was in the high category with t= -12.856 (p <0.05). So, information services using animated video media are effective in increasingunderstanding cyberbullying class X PPLG 1 at state vocational school 4 Bengkulu City. This study suggests guidance and counseling teachers to use information services using animated video media to increaseunderstanding cyberbullying student.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik afirmasi diri terhadap self love siswa kelas X DKV 2 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif jenis eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X DKV 2 berjumlah 32 orang siswa sedangkan sampel berjumlah 8 orang siswa diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan angket self love. Data dianalisis menggunakan rumus uji-t. Penelitian ini menunjukkan skor rata-rata self love siswa sebelum diberikan treatment termasuk ke dalam kategori rendah dan setelah diberikan treatment nilai rata-rata menjadi kategori tinggi dengan t = -24.333 (p < 0.05). Terdapat pengaruh Layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik afirmasi diri terhadap self love siswa kelas X DKV 2 SMK Negeri 1 Kota Bengkulu. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut disarankan kepada guru bimbingan dan konseling untuk dapat menggunakan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik afirmasi terhadap self love siswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the effect of group counseling services with cognitive restructuring techniques on students' public speaking anxiety. This research used experimental method with one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample of this study amounted to 6 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique with data collection using a public speaking anxiety questionnaire. Data were analyzed using t-test (paired sample t-test). The t-test results show the value of t = 20.208 (p <0.05). This means that there was a significant effect of group counseling services with cognitive restructuring techniques on reducing students' public speaking anxiety levels. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended to guidance and counseling teachers to use group counseling services with cognitive restructuring techniques to reduce public speaking anxiety in students. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of classical format information services with discussion techniques on students' interest in continuing to vocational high schools in class IX students of SMP Negeri 22 Bengkulu City, this research uses the experimental method of one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 22 Bengkulu City, totaling 60 students. The sample was taken using simple random sampling technique which amounted to 30 students. The research data analysis technique used the T test(paired sample test) with Bungin's formula. The results of the study before being given services with an average of 90.27 which is categorized as low. After being given the service the average value of students with a score of 133.77 which is categorized as high. Hypothesis testing in the study was shown with a value of t -22.494 which means that there is an effect of classical format information services with discussion techniques on students' interest in continuing to vocational high schools. From the results of the research, it is suggested that counseling teachers can use a classical format information service model to increase students' interest in continuing their education to vocational schools.
