Abstract

Motor diesel is growing rapidly now, and have a better performance, technology and construction machinery has undergone innovation - innovation that spectacular, fuel system, air intake systems and other systems, which can support the engine performance is also experiencing a very recent innovation. Diesel engines are usually called compression ignition engine (compression ignition engines), how ignition fuel is done by spraying fuel into the air that has been pressurized and high temperature. Currently diesel engine with a small total volume produce big power, is none other than the already wide use of the turbo charger to add the intake air pressure and increase the effective pressure, increased air temperature in the cylinder so the engine power increased by approximately 25% compared to engines without turbo chargers . Turbo Charger driven by exhaust gases from combustion, where the turbo charger has two main components of the turbine wheel, made of heat-resistant cast metal and compressor wheels, made of aluminum alloy in rollers and then done.

Abstract

In this globalization, companies are have to increase productivity in order to produce maximum output. In this case, especially system productivity company. Smoothness system or production process is supported by many aspects, one of which is the aspect of reliability of existing machinery or equipment in the production system.In palm oil mills, there are two processing stations and processing of palm fruit processing palm kernel. Palm kernel oil processing systems, among others, Pressing, Nut fiber, Depricarper, Polishing drum, cyclone Nut, Nut hoper, Ripple mill, LTDS 1 & 2, Claybath. To increase the productivity of these systems need to be an appropriate activity treatment on the machine or equipment, in an effort to increase conduction reliability of the equipment in the system kernel oil processing. For it is necessary for treatment planning method RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) using qualitative analysis where the RCM method can determine the identification of critical equipment and components, optimum care, treatment and consequences of activity intervals failures in machinery or equipment or core processing system palm on palm oil mills company.

Abstract

Rokan Hulu regency government is very concerned with people's needs for clean water for the most budget Rokan Hulu regency government owned companies to build infrastructure through water distribution unit called the Badan Pengelolaan Air Bersih (BPAB), one unit of water distribution net is BPAB Pematang Barangan-Pasir Putih. A water distribution unit is a group function, system, sub system, and item components are complete and mutual support for the smooth operation and water distribution.In water distribution unit BPAB Pematang Barangan for water distribution system using a centrifugal pump, with sub pump system with a single puff volut brands Ebara PUMP. To reduce the downtime of time it needs to be done to improve the availability of treatment / usability (availability) in the system function. In order to serve the function of the system can then use Reliability Centered Maitenance(RCM) method to be implemented by means of qualitative analysis on the component item that can be analyzed in detail the use of Failure Mode Effect Analisys (FMEA), Logic Tree ANALISYS, and Maintenance Task.

Abstract

The community in Patin Village smokes fish in the traditional way, namely first, the fish to be smoked first, the fish are cleaned, the second the fish is split on the back to clean from dirt, the three fish that have been split will be arranged in the provided place, then fish will be put in the smoking place. Fish smoking device using closed circulation and temperature monitoring system that has been made. The purpose of the study was to compare the time efficiency of the smoked smoked smoked fish in the traditional way and to know the comparison of the smoking process of smoked smoked fish using coconut fiber and tangkos fuel. The results of the tests that have been carried out can be seen the lowest temperature when taking data 1⁄2 hours once produces 50°C and the highest temperature reaches 110°C. The temperature in the smoking room can be seen and monitored by a digital-based temperature controller with the results of testing the water content in the fish not too far away, the highest water content is 50% using Tangkos fuel, the room temperature at the time of testing is the highest at the time of taking with the highest is 110 oC using tangkos fuel and the difference in the consumption of tangkos fuel and coconut fiber has a difference in smoking, one of which is when testing the highest tangkos fuel it spends as much as 25.71 kg, coconut fiber spends the highest 19.42 kg with fish that different.

Abstract

Salah satu industri pulp dan paper yang memakai teknolgi tinggi baik dari segi material dan logika pemrosesanya. Industri tersebut mengolah kayu sehingga menghasilkan pulp dan kertas yang digunakan untuk keperluan kita saat ini. Produk yang dihasilkan adalah pulp, kertas, tisu, brown paper, exercise book. Untuk menghasilkan produk tersebut menggunakan mesin mesin pulp and paper machine, tissue machine, cut size machine, folio sheeter machine dan exercise book machine. Salah satu mesin yang akan dianalisis kegagalan adalah mesin exercise book merk LANBAO China yang memproduksi buku-buku dengan ukuran ukuran tertentu yang akan dipasarkan di dalam negeri. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui jenis kerusakan pada mesin exercise book, menganalisis sebab kerusakan pada mesin excecise book dan memperbaiki kegagalan mesin exercise book. Adapun hasil penelitian ialah (1). Operator mesin tidak cepat menstop mesin ketika terjadi jammed akibat penumpukan buku atau stack area mekanis lain (2). Jenis material yang dipakai kurang elastis dan keras sehingga mudah patah saat terjadi stack mesin (3). Proses pemasangan baut cross joint tidak memakai ring per atau washer sehingga setelah berputar beberapa kali baut dan mur menjadi longgar (4). Desain mesin tidak di pasang counter per area untuk mendeteksi perputaran atau speed. Jika stack mesin langsung stop otomatis sehingga part menjadi awet.
