Abstract

The purposes of this research are : to describe the relationship’s pattern between therubber farmers and the local employer, to know the dependency level of rubber farmers and localemployer, and the problems among this relationship’s pattern. This research was held in DesaMuara Musu Kecamatan Rambah Hilir Kabupaten Rokan Hulu by using study case method. Theresamples of rubber farmers and 2 local employers. The data analysis was descriptive which waspresented in qualitative analiysis. The research findings show that the relationship’s patternbetween the rubber farmers and the local employer are a production pattern or trade relation, sosialrelation, debit and credit relation, and overlaping relation. The patron-client’s relationship of therubber farmers of Desa Muara Musu is Cluster Patront-Client. There are three aspects ofdependency level of rubber farmers and local employer. They are market and production’sequipment dependence (70 percent), modal dependence (10 parcent), and market-only dependence(20 parcent). All the farmers samples said that they had debt to the local employer, it is about Rp.50.000,- to Rp. 250.000,- , so the local employer will continuously get rubbers’ supply from thefarmers as long as they have not paid it yet. The data also shows that most of the farmers intend tolend some mony from the local employer rather than from a cooperative (100 parcent).

Abstract

Upland rice is the main food crop for the people of Indonesia in addition there are various regions inIndonesia which main food besides rice. Rice cultivation has long been cultivated intensification , but thebusiness can not increase crops. One attempt to do is the provision of plant growth regulators andpotassium fertilization. This study uses a randomized block design arranged in a factorial with 3replications per each treatment without growth regulators A0= not regulators, A1=atonik 1.00 cc/liter ofwater, A2 = hydrasil 2.00 cc/liter of water, A3 = 5 EC 1.00 cc/liter air. without KCl = B0 , B1 = KCl 50kg/ha, B2 = KCl 100 kg/ha, B3 = 150 kg KCl/ha. From the results of the study showed that administrationof growth regulators and potassium fertilizers showed significant response to the age at exit panicle,number of productive tillers per hill, age at maturity, number of grains per panicle and weight of 1000seeds.

Abstract

Aren agro industry is a form of industry which use Nira Water as the raw material to beprocessed become sugar and ready to consume and sell in the market. Aren is able to use as agroindustry material, such as Nira Water as raw material in producing Aren Sugar, Vinegar, and Tuak.In this research the writer take one product, that is development of Aren Sugar businesswhich material is Nira Water.The purpose of the research are: 1) to know production aspect,processing aspect, technology aspect, marketing aspect, and organization aspect on agro industrybusiness of Aren Sugar in Rambah Tengah Barat Village Rambah Sub district Rokan HuluRegency.To maximize the income from processing Aren Sugar, so it needs business analysis,because through it, we know how much the income from the Aren Sugar business per month. Thecosts that spent in one month (lost/profit) are; a) Constant cost is Rp 13.225,- b) Variable cost Rp37.495.775,- with R/C ratio 3,27. From the analysis, it was decided that Aren Sugar businessproper to develop.

Abstract

Chilli (Capsicum annuum L) is one of the horticultural crops that are used for domestic purposes as seasoning, food industry and medicine.. This research was carried out village Tranmigrasi DU SKPC sub-district Rambah Hilir regency Rokan Hulu. The reason the research is made in place is because source of water and labor in the region there is. This study is a factorial experiment which consists of two factors with each of the four factorsand six replications were carried out in completely randomized design (CRD).

Abstract

The main problem faced by oil palm plantations is low productivity, including attacks by stem rot disease caused by the Ganoderma boninense fungus. The aim of the research was to determine the ability of bacteria (Paenibacilus polymyxa B32/77) to inhibit stem rot (G. boninense). Research methods are divided into two, namely in the field and in the laboratory. In the field, sampling of oil palm plants infected with stem rot disease. In the laboratory isolation, characterization and identification of the pathogen are carried out. Next, rejuvenating the bacterial isolate P. Polymyxa B32/77 and testing the inhibitory power of P. Polymyxa B32/77 against G. boninense using the cross streak method. The indigenous antagonistic bacteria (P. Polymyxa B32/77) came from isolated eucalyptus plants. Results of the bacterial antagonist test P. Polymyxa B32/77. unable to inhibit the growth of G. boninense. This is because the compounds contained in G. boninense are stronger than those in P. Polymyxa B32/77. while a comparative inhibition test showed that the P. Polymyxa B32/77 bacteria was able to inhibit the growth of R. solanacearum.

Abstract

Khusnu Abdillah Siregar, Effect of Peanut Litter Compost and NPK 16:16:16: on the Growth and Production of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research will be carried out at the Screen House of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Pasir Pengaraian, Jl Tuanku Tambusai, Rambah, Rambah Hilir, Rokan Hulu Regency, Riau. The time of this research will be carried out for four months starting from April to June 2023. The purpose of this study is to determine the interaction effect and the main influence on the growth and production of shallots given peanut litter compost and NPK Fertilizer 16:16:16 . This study used a completely randomized factorial design which consisted of two factors. The first factor was the dose of peanut litter compost (K) consisting of 4 levels and the second factor was the dose of NPK 16.16.16 (N) consisting of 4 levels so that 16 treatment combinations were obtained with 3 replications, so there were 48 experimental units. Each experimental unit (plot) consisted of 6 plants and 3 plants were used as research observation samples so that the total experimental unit was 266 plants.                The results of the study concluded that the interaction of peanut litter compost and NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer had a significant effect on harvesting age, number of tubers per clump, fresh weight of tubers per clump, dry weight of tubers per clump and tuber weight loss. The best treatment was a combination of 45 g peanut litter compost per polybag and 112.5 g NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer per polybag (K3N3). The main effect of peanut litter compost is significant on all observation parameters. The best treatment was a dose of 45 g of peanut litter compost per polybag (K3). The main effect of the dose of NPK 16:16:16 fertilizer was significant for all observed parameters. The best treatment was the dose of NPK 16:16:16 112.5 g per polybag (N3).

Abstract

Bawang merah merupakan tanaman yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi yang banyak digunakan sebagai tambahan bumbu pelengkap masakan. Budidaya bawang merah membutuhkan faktor penunjang yaitu pupuk. Pupuk yang digunakan para petani kebanyakan dari pupuk kimia sehingga kesubur semakin berkurang dan mengakibatkan pencemaran akibat bahan kimia yang berlebihan. Kulit pisang merupakan limbah yang dapat diolah menjadi pupuk kompos yang menyediakan zat hara bagi tanaman dan dapat memperbaiki sifat fisik, kimia, dan biologi tanah. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos kulit pisang terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum L.) Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Pasir Pengaraian dari bulan Maret sampai dengan bulan Juli 2024. Metode penelitian menggunakan rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan, 3 ulangan dan 3 parameter. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian berbagai dosis kompos kulit pisang memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Pemberian kompos kulit pisang dengan dosis 65 gram/polybag memberikan hasil lebih tinggi terhadap tinggi tanaman, bobot basah, berat kering tanaman dan jumlah umbi.

Abstract

Jagung manis pada tanaman pangan yang menduduki urutan ketiga setelah gandum dan padi. Di Indonesia jagung manis merupakan makanan pokok kedua setelah padi. Permintaan konsumen terhadap jagung manis dari tahun ke tahun terus meningkat. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas jagung manis bisa dengan berbagai cara salah satunya dengan cara meningkatkan kesuburan tanah melalui pemupukan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos daun kelapa sawit terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi pada tanaman jagung ( Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt L) dan mendapatkan dosis kompos yang optimum untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi jagung manis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Lahan Percobaan Program Studi Agroteknologi Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Pasir Pangaraian. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) terdiri dari satu faktor dengan 5 perlakuan P0: Tanpa pemberian Kompos Daun Kelapa Sawit, P1: Kompos Daun Kelapa Sawit 75 g/polybag (15ton/ha), P2: Kompos Daun Kelapa Sawit 100 g/polybag (20 ton/ha), P3:Kompos Daun Kelapa Sawit 125 g/polybag (25 ton/ha), P4: Kompos Daun Kelapa Sawit 150 g/polybag (30 ton/ha). Variabel yang diamati adalah tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, panjang tongkol dan bobot tongkol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kompos daun kelapa sawit tidak berbeda nyata terhadap parameter pengamatan tinggi tanamanan, jumlah daun, panjang tongkol. Namun berbeda nyata pada parameter pengamatan bobot tongkol dengan perlakuan 150 gram/polybag (P4) memberikan hasil terbaik yaitu 267,11 gram

Abstract

Cabai merupakan hasil pertanian hortikultura yang sudah menjadi bagian dari budaya makanan masyarakat Indonesia. Kekhasan masakan Indonesia dengan cita rasa pedas merupakan salah satu faktor yang membuat cabai banyak dikonsumsi di Indonesia Pupuk organik adalah pupuk yang berasal dari sisa tanaman, hewan atau manusia seperti pupuk kandang, pupuk hijau, dan kompos yang berbentuk cair maupun padat. Selain mudah dibuat sendiri dengan modal pembuatan yang murah, penggunaan pupuk organik juga menguntungkan bagi lingkungan, tanah dan tanaman karena pupuk organik dapat memperbaiki sifat-sifat tanah seperti sifat fisik, kimia dan biologi kotoran ayam merupakan limbah yang dihasilkan dari peternakan ayam yang dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi lingkungan. Kotoran ayam memiliki potensi yang besar sebagai pupuk organik. Penggunaan bahan organik kotoran ayam mempunyai beberapa keuntungan antara lain sebagai pemasok hara tanah dan meningkatkan retensi air. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di LAB Unri dan lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Pasir Pengaraiaan, Jl Tuanku Tambusai, Rambah, Rambah Hilir, Kabupaten Rokan Hulu Riau. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 5 perlakuan, masing-masing perlakuan di ulang 3 kali sehingga di peroleh 15 unit penelian. Pada setiap unit penelitian terdiri dari 4 sampel bibit tanaman cabai rawit 60 satuan pengamatan sehingga di peroleh konsentrasi pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler yaitu : Po : Pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler 0 g/polybag P1 : Pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler 500 g/polybag P2 : Pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler 600/polybag P3 : Pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler 700 g/polybag P4 : Pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler 800 g/polybag. Variabel yang diamati meliputi analisis kandungan unsur hara bokasi kotoran ayam broiler, tinggi tanaman, lebar daun, diameter tanaman, umur berbunga, umur panen dan bobot buah segar. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pemberian berbagai dosis pupuk bokasi kotoran ayam broiler berpengaruh nyata pada parameter pengamatan umur berbunga, umur panen pertama dan bobot buah segar dengan pemberian dosis 800 g dan pada bobot buah segar pada dosis 700 g, namun berpengaruh tidak nyata pada parameter pengamatan tinggi tanaman, lebar daun dan diameter batang.
