Abstract

This research aims to analyze the work-life balance of career women in higher education. The study employs a qualitative method and data collection techniques through interviews with participants, specifically women who have careers in private higher education institutions in the Bojonegoro district. The inclusion criteria involve women in leadership roles within both universities and faculties, working full-time, and having a minimum of one year of experience. Additionally, some of the participants have children under the age of 10, while others have children over 10. The researcher gathered data from nine participants representing three different higher education institutions, consisting of four top management individuals such as rectors and vice rectors and five middle management individuals including deans. Four of these participants have children under 10 years old, while five have children over 10 years old. The research results highlight three perspectives on work-life balance for higher education leaders: the dual role, the culture of balance, and individual strategies for managing balance

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas, kendala dan kelebihan serta kekurangan penerapan pembelajaran e-learning dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting pada masa pandemi covid-19 mahasiswa FPIPS IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengambilan data menggunakan teknik kuesioner dengan google form dan wawancara . Subjek penelitian yaitu mahasiswa FPIPS IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro yang pernah mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting. Dalam penelitian ini teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis data kualitatif dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran e-learning dengan aplikasi zoom meeting tidak efektif disebabkan oleh kendala sinyal internet dan terkendala biaya kuota internet yang mahal. Kelebihan dari pembelajaran e-learning menggunakan aplikasi zoom meeting yaitu aplikasi zoom meeting dapat di download dengan mudah secara gratis dan kapasitas ruang besar, aplikasi zoom meeting mempunyai fitur- fitur banyak dan menarik, kegiatan pembelajaran dengan aplikasi zoom meeting saat perkuliahan bisa langsung tatap muka dengan dosen maupun teman- temannya dengan jelas, dan mahasiswa dapat melakukan pembelajaran dari rumah. Kekurangan dari aplikasi zoom meeting dalam pembelajaran e-learning yaitu sinyal yang tidak stabil, data internet boros/ kuota internet cepat habis dan kuota internet yang terbatas. Saran pembelajaran e-learning yang efektif yaitu menggunakan metode pembelajaran dengan google meet dan google classroom karena tidak ada pembatasan waktu, mudah diakses dimana saja dan tidak memakan kuota internet yang banyak

Abstract

The problem of this research is that lecturers' learning is less precise in using learning methods so that students are less active and learning outcomes or student scores are low. This study aims to determine the implementation of learning using the Moodle-assisted discovery learning method, knowing the strengths and weaknesses of Moodle learning. The research design uses descriptive with a qualitative approach. Sources of data were obtained from students majoring in economics education in 6th semester. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study learning using the Moodle-assisted discovery learning method can help e-learning learning for students and is very effective to apply to the learning process. In learning using Moodle, the lecturer provides explanations to students through PowerPoint and YouTube which are uploaded with the aim that students can understand the material at any time and students can discuss with their friends. The advantages of doing Moodle learning are that learning is easier, more relaxed, the material provided by lecturers is more concise and students find it easier to access subject matter, working on assignments takes quite a long time. The disadvantages of Moodle are that the learning process is less effective, there are students who have difficulty understanding the material because they do not get direct explanations from the lecturer, and the internet network is less supportive.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of a game-based learning model utilizing the Baamboozle platform on students’ academic achievement in Economics. A quantitative approach was employed using a quasi-experimental design, specifically the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The participants consisted of 34 eleventh-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 Kalitidu. Data collection techniques included learning outcome tests (pretest and posttest), classroom observations, and documentation. Descriptive statistical analysis revealed an increase in students’ average scores from 51.32 (pretest) to 88.09 (posttest). The normality test confirmed that the data were normally distributed (sig. = 0.200), and the paired sample t-test indicated a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (sig. = 0.001, p < 0.05). Additionally, the average gain score of 0.76 fell into the high category, signifying a substantial improvement in learning outcomes. These findings suggest that implementing game-based learning through Baamboozle significantly enhances students’ academic performance and can serve as an effective, engaging instructional strategy aligned with the demands of modern education.

Abstract

Community Reading Park or Taman Bacaan Masyarakat (TBM) is a non-formal educational facility that provides literacy and cultural services to the community. Although TBMs are established based on four legal foundations, in practice, several TBMs face both external and internal challenges. TBM Karya Muda, located in Klepek Village, Sukosewu District, Bojonegoro Regency, also faces both types of challenges. They include a low number of visitors, a limited book collection, lack of variety in TBM programs, limited availability of the management team, minimal funding, lack of collaboration, and unmotivated children visitors who prefer gadgets over reading. Considering the environmental potential of TBM, with 17 schools in its surrounding area, this condition became the basis for the PkM Team to conduct a Spelling Bee Competition at TBM Karya Muda, involving 30 elementary school children from grades 2 to 6. The activity aims to foster a culture of literacy—reading, writing, listening, and speaking—in English from an early age. Spelling ability is a foundational skill for reading and writing literacies. The Spelling Bee Competition was carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and closing. The results of the PkM activity show that the Spelling Bee Competition helped increase children's English vocabulary, improve memory, boost self-confidence, motivate healthy competition, and strengthen literacy in reading and writing.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe jigsaw dengan Media Plotagon Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ditinjau Dari Sikap Kreatif Siswa. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalaah siswa MA Al Khoiriyah Balen Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 dengan jumlah 30 Siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan Metode tes dan angket.Adapun hasil penelitian Fhitung > Ftabel atau P-value (0.30) < α (0.05), maka H0a ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat perbedaan yang lebih baik, antara hasil belajar siswa terhadap sikap kreatif tinggi sedang atau rendah. Fhitung < Ftabel atau P-value (0.08) > α (0.05), maka H0b ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat perbedaan yang lebih efektif, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantu media plotagon terhadap model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Fhitung > Ftabel atau P-value (0.50) < α (0.05), maka H0ab ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa Pada masing-masing model pembelajaran terdapat perbedaan yang memberikan hasil belajar lebih baik, terhadap siswa dengan sikap kreatif tinggi, sedang, atau rendah. Fhitung > Ftabel atau P-value (0.50) < α (0.05), maka H0ab ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada masing-masing sikap kreatif siswa terdapat perbedaan yang memberikan hasil belajar siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantu media plotagon terhadap siswa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif; Media Plotagon; Hasil belajar; sikap kreatif. Abstract: This study aims to describe the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model with Plotagon Media on Learning Outcomes in terms of Students' Creative Attitudes. This research is a quantitative research using a quantitative approach. The population in this study was MA Al Khoiriyah Balen students for the 2021/2022 academic year with a total of 30 students. Collecting data using test and questionnaire methods. As for the results of the study Fcount > Ftable or P-value (0.30) < (0.05), then H0a is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a better difference between student learning outcomes on high, medium or low creative attitudes. Fcount < Ftable or P-value (0.08) > (0.05), then H0b is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is a difference that is more effective, the jigsaw type cooperative learning model assisted by plotagon media to the jigsaw type cooperative learning model. Fcount > Ftable or P-value (0.50) < (0.05), then H0ab is rejected. So it can be concluded that in each learning model there are differences that provide better learning outcomes, for students with high, medium, or low creative attitudes. Fcount > Ftable or P-value (0.50) < (0.05), then H0ab is rejected. Abstract

ABSTRACT This program aims to improve financial literacy among teenagers through a participatory and contextual approach that is relevant to the digital world. This activity was carried out in the form of interactive workshops using discussion, simulation, and reflection methods, involving 36 ninth-grade students. The results of the pre-test and post-test showed a 51.3% increase in financial literacy understanding, accompanied by behavioral changes such as an increase in saving motivation, the ability to distinguish between needs and wants, and control over impulsive purchases due to the influence of social media. This program also fostered critical awareness of the Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) phenomenon and gave birth to the School Financial Friends community as a form of activity sustainability. Overall, this activity was effective in shaping wise economic behavior by strengthening the financial capacity of the younger generation in the digital era. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop interaktif dengan metode diskusi, simulasi, dan refleksi, melibatkan 36 siswa kelas IX. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman literasi keuangan sebesar 51,3%, disertai perubahan perilaku seperti meningkatnya motivasi menabung, kemampuan membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan, serta pengendalian pembelian impulsif akibat pengaruh media sosial. Program ini juga menumbuhkan kesadaran kritis terhadap fenomena Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) dan melahirkan komunitas Sahabat Finansial Sekolah sebagai bentuk keberlanjutan kegiatan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini efektif membentuk perilaku ekonomi yang bijak melalui penguatan kapasitas finansial generasi muda di era digital.
