Abstract

Indo Global Indo Global Mandiri University, is one of the universities in Palembang City which has a fairly large parking area, so it is necessary to have a concept of comfort and security for the academic community and also guests in placing their vehicles in the parking area within the IGM University Campus. This study tries to provide an alternative how to build a vehicle parking concept, especially cars, by detecting vehicle plates and who owns it, so that it can be known early on vehicles that enter an unknown parking area, so that it can be known whether guests are or are treated as people who are not clear. the goal. The research model was built using the Python Programming Language with the OpenCV (Open Source Computer Vision) library as an image processor which with a process or several stages can change the car license plate in the form of an image into a string (word), then by connecting it to the vehicle owner's database. In order to detect who owns the car that will park. The results of the preliminary research, by detecting the vehicle plate in the form of a car image, the results obtained that the area code and plate number can be detected, but other images are also detected. The results show that the plate number is detected as BG 1359 UJ, converted to BG' 13:19 Q UJ. There were 2 conversion failures, namely the number 5 was changed to :1 and the small white circle (bolt) was changed to Q.Keywords: Parking, Detection, Vehicle Plate and OpenCV

Abstract

The increasing demand and use of internet networks at PT. Satria Jaya Prima to access a website-based sales system, the more user demand for problems that occur on user devices such as unstable internet networks. Currently the use of internet network at PT. Satria Jaya Prima has not been efficient because there is no balanced bandwidth regulation, thus making the internet network capacity usage gap and making the internet network unstable. Based on these problems, research is needed that can be applied to overcome these problems, namely managing bandwidth using Mikrotik. In the network, a device is needed that can manage the existing internet network. This device is called Mikrotik RouterBoard. Routers that will be used in the internet network of PT. Satria Jaya Prima runs with Mikrotik OS for bandwidth and user management and manages the existing internet network according to the internet needs of internet network users. In this study, Mikrotik is configured using Winbox using the Simple Queue Peer Connection Queue (PCQ) method, with bandwidth management and users using the Mikrotik Router, the internet network connection will be smoother, because the existing bandwidth is allocated to each user based on the bandwidth needs needed by each internet network user

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk membuat rancangan alat yang dapat mendeteksi gas hidrogen dengan menggunakan sensor MQ-8. Kadar kualitas udara yang ada pada suatu ruangan menjadikan tolak ukur keamanan dan kebersihan dan ruangan tersebut begitu juga dengan ruangan tertutup seperti pada kabin kendaraan roda empat. Salah satu gas berbahaya yang berasal dari kendaraan roda empat adalah Gas hidrogen. gas yang dikeluarkan dari terjadinya kebocoran AC saat kendaraan dalam keadaan menyala didalam keadaan tertutup sehingga sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan manusia apabila terhirup pada kadar tertentu. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut diperlukan untuk dibuat sistem monitoring gas hidrogen didalam kendaraan roda empat berbasis Internet Of Things (IoT). Pada penelitian ini, dibuat sistem monitoring kadar gas hidrogen dengan metode real-time berbasis Internet of Things (IoT). Sensor gas yang dipakai adalah MQ-8 yang digabungkan dengan mikrokontroler NodeMcu ESP 8266. Hasil dari pengujian Freon yang mengandung gas hidrogen sensor MQ-8, Buzzer dan LED indikator merah menyala dengan action power window akan turun ketika gas hidrogen lebih dari 20 ppm, yang berarti kondisi tersebut melebihi batas aman kesehatan dan data yang telah dikirim NodeMCU akan disimpan dalam database, pengiriman data secara real-time yang ditampilkan pada website monitoring,dan dapat memberikan notifikasi dengan cepat kepada penumpang agar mencegah keracunan pada kandungan gas hidrogen. dengan melakukan pengujian tersebut bahwa sensor dapat bekerja dengan baik
