Abstract

This study is aimed at describing teachers’ obstacles in applying Numbered Head Together learning model in social science learning. The type of research is qualitative descriptive. The subject of the research is the third-grade teacher of elementary school in Sukoharjo Sub-district. The findings of the research were analyzed using interactive analysis of Miles and Huberman and were presented through descriptive narrative technique. The results reveal several obstacles that were experienced by the teachers. First, the time is limited. Second, the classroom atmosphere is noisy due to large number of students. Third, the number of students in total is not even. Fourth, the students interfere each other. Fifth, not all of the students work in the group. Sixth, the students are not actively responding. Seventh, the students are lack of confidence in the presentation.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the student’s learning difficulties in learning problem solving based Newman procedures on the 5th grade students of Bratan 1 Surakarta Elementary School in the academic year 2020/2021. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were six students class of 5A at Bratan 1 Surakarta Elementary School. Data collection techniques through interview, research’s documentation, and questionnaire. Validity that used are triangulation techniques. Techniques of analyzing data of this research is using interactive analysis. The results of this research indicate students have difficulty in problem solving process skills steps. This research will assist teachers in developing innovative learning to reduce the student’s learning difficulties in problem solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the assessment instrument based on HOTS perspective (Higher Order Thinking Skills) in the thematic book of the fifth grade teacher theme 8 "our friend's environment". This research is a qualitative descriptive research with content analysis method. The data source of this research is the thematic book of the fifth grade teacher theme 8 "our friend's environment" which contains KI, KD, learning objectives, learning steps, student activities and learning assessment grids. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique with the semantic data validity test technique. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Hubberman model technique through four stages which include data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results obtained are that there is an assessment rubric in accordance with the HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) perspective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam dongeng pada buku siswa kelas II SD tema 7 “Kebersamaan” kurikulum 2013. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode analisis konten. Objek penelitiannya yaitu nilai moral yang terdapat dalam 10 dongeng pada buku siswa kelas II SD tema 7. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar analisis dokumen yang disusun berdasarkan landasan teori tentang muatan nilai moral. Teknik analisis data dimulai dengan data yang sudah dikumpulkan, direduksi, dideskripsikan, diiterpretasikan, dianalisis, kemudian disimpulkan.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wujud nilai moral dalam hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri terdiri dari kejujuran, kerja keras, bertanggung jawab, pantang menyerah, rasa ingin tahu, bijaksana, sabar, cerdik, dan disiplin. Nilai moral yang paling banyak ditemukan yakni nilai moral rasa ingin tahu. Wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan sesama terdiri dari saling menghargai, peduli sesama, sopan santun, cinta damai, kasih sayang, bersahabat, kerja sama, saling percaya, dan pemaaf. Nilai moral yang sering muncul yaitu bersahabat. Wujud nilai moral hubungan dengan alam sekitar yaitu mencintai lingkungan. Wujud nilai moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan yakni bersyukur. Berdasarkan keempat wujud nilai moral tersebut, guru dapat menjadikan dongeng sebagai alternatif untuk menanamkan nilai moral kepada peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract. Language is one of the important things for every individual. Language components include listening skills, speaking skills, reading skills, and writing skills. The phenomenon that occurs in students is that they are not yet fluent in reading and cannot apply correct punctuation when reading. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement in reading aloud skills through flipbook media for class II students of SDN 2 Jatipuro in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted for 3 months and involved 16 class II students of SDN 2 Jatipuro. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. Cycle I obtained a completeness of 62.25% with an average of 72.1% included in the good category, but had not reached the research performance indicators. Cycle II obtained an increase of 81.25% with an average of 85.7% included in the very good category. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that the use of flipbook media can improve the reading aloud skills of class II students of SDN 2 Jatipuro in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

Abstrak . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan bercerita siswa kelas III SDN 03 Nangsri melalui penggunaan media flashcard . Keterampilan bercerita merupakan bagian dari keterampilan berbicara yang esensial dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbahasa siswa di sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara awal, keterampilan bercerita siswa masih tergolong rendah, hanya 13,63% siswa yang mencapai ketuntasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan tes keterampilan bercerita. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 45,45%, dan pada siklus II mencapai 86,36%, melampaui kinerja indikator yang ditetapkan sebesar 80%. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan bahwa media flashcard efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan bercerita siswa. Media ini mampu memberikan rangsangan visual yang menarik, membantu siswa dalam menyusun cerita secara terstruktur, dan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri mereka dalam berbicara. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan media flashcard dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif metode pembelajaran inovatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara khususnya keterampilan bercerita di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to describe the use of monopoly game learning media to improve the ability to write pantun of grade V students of SDN Banyuanyar 1, explain the obstacles and solutions, and describe the results of improving the ability to write pantun. The subjects of this study were grade V teachers and 28 students. Data collection involved tests and non-tests, while data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model data reduction, presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The use of monopoly game learning media to improve the ability to write pantun has obstacles faced by students, one of which is being less active in learning activities. Improvements that can be made based on these obstacles are that teachers create interesting learning media so that students remain focused on learning. The ability to write pantun has increased from cycle 1 and cycle 2 by 89%.
